Such a cute friendly pub brilliant service we attended mikes flower arrangement lesson and was very impressed with the pub

Served promptly - lovely staff. We were pleased with the food when it came. Meat was smashing. Choice of so many - I had beef and pork which was very good and tender. Good to find somewhere local that does good food.

We'll not drop in again on the way past£20.50 for two double brandy and coke. I don't think so. So much for a local.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch served on hot plates food nice and hot there was 3 of us all enjoyed the meal 👍

Lovely pub! “Proper” pub with lovely friendly people and staffs are very nice polite and welcoming dogs are welcome and love their treats offered! Clean friendly and good beer lovely food! Nice menu to choose from and special board too! Darts, pool live entertainment!

Good local pub for food and drink. Dog friendly, but don't always have real ales on much to my husbands husband's disappointment.

It's ok but it was the middle of the week and like all back street pubs you don't get a lot of footfall which is a shame as it's always been a lovely pub with lovely people in it

Great place to be what can I say, Sunday dinner here was just lovely, hats off to the chef for banging out a lovely meal in a quite small kitchen, warm and welcoming staff lou was a pure delight and a laugh, friendly atmosphere from both the owners staff and locals a traditional pub feel giving you that warm satisfying feeling the moment you walk through the door, what a lovely way to spend your Sunday

Just a no-nonsense, classic English pub. Great food, staff were really friendly and just all in all exactly what we wanted from a pub.

The time and world we live in people walking around around in the pub no masks playing darts staff also not wearing masks..no table service where it should be..... not a care in the world where it should be in sanction bad bar management!!!

Brilliant service, amazing bar staff and lovely owners. The chef If not one to miss everyone needs to go and try the food here as its always being 100/10 before lockdown and now he Is coming back with a bang. So get your tastebuds down here on monday to see what it's all about.highley recommended

Popped in for a lovely pint of Guinness. Service was quick and the outdoor seating area is great. Covered too just in case the unpredictable British weather changes it's mind.

We went on recommendation, and we were not disappointed!! The food is fantastic, all freshly cooked, and the portion size is more than generous. Made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. One of the best local pubs I've been to in a long time.

Went for a family meal, lovely welcome from Dean the owner and the chef serves amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Says sky sports all over the pub. Massive banners. Went to watch a game and they say they dont have it.

It's been a long time since I last came here and, like then, we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely dinner we had. Good service, good choice and good food! Everything was fresh, not a hint of anything frozen and such excellent value for money. Will definitely be going back there.

What a dissapointment. Have never been served such a plate if food. Most of it was burnt black . Ok they didnt charge me for it well they couldnt realy its nor as if ir was busy as we were the only ones in. Shall not be reccommending or returning.

Went as a couple on a Saturday afternoon. What a surprise! Fish and chips would give any restaurant a run for their money. Real home cut and fried chips and a batter so crispy and light is was a pleasure to eat. No soggy fish batter or oil. Service was excellent and even met the chef who came to our table. Will be returning.

Had a great Sunday lunch here, food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The service was very friendly and welcoming - somewhere I would recommend. We'll definitely be going again, already looking forward to trying different options from the menu.

Sunday Lunch: it's hard to criticise the fair offered at this pub. The food was well cooked and well presented, if a little pretentious for a back street pub. But hey, why not, it certainly sets the place apart from other local places. Price for Sunday lunch is good value at £12.95 for 3 good courses and £4.95 for the kids menu. Drinks are not over priced, so all round a good experience. We're looking forward to trying the regular menu in the week sometime soon.

Didn't stop long due to work but it seems very cosy inside plenty of family's and nice and warm. Good honest respectable pub.

Lovely little boozer, friendly gaffers and staff with quaffable ale. Shame that I've recently heard that Sunday diners have stopped as they were awesome.

I love to support local businesses but in this day and age who doesn't accept card payments ? Just moved to the area and the local cash point is near weatherspoons! What a shame.
