I just ordered from here I'm so disappointed I ordered a jerk chicken wrap some creamy mash and perk pork and rice the ordered came I opened it with a note inside saying no wraps instead replaced with something that resembled mush and a slab of dry pork so not a great start opened the rice with pork pork to find a slab of dry pork with a line of translucent fat running down the back of it so bland some chicken bones that must of been put in there for flavour why I don't know creamy mash was OK but paying 30 quid for the only thing edible the mash is a disappointment before you order from here please don't be fooled bye the reviews as I was

Very good food at reasonable prices. Will definitely use again fantastic flavours. We had three different dishes and they were all very tasty. Plenty of food in the tubs love how they put steam veg with things. 😁

Ordered from this last night and when I tell you I died and went to heaven.. I honestly did. The goat curry was so succulent, the spice was just right and my partner loved the jerk chicken. Will be ordering from there again definitely. Also, the service was so welcoming and lovely; go support local small businesses!

YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE! I saw this place on Google and as the reviews were good I thought I'd give it a whirl OMG, so good. I live in Manchester and there are lots of Carribbean places but this place is so fresh and tasty. It arrived on time, was exactly as described and was still very hot. The portions are so generous that it fed two of us and I'm taking some for lunch at t seehe Hospital tomorrow 😋 PS, what swayed my decision was your Instagram Ad. It obviously retargetted me, and it worked 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

This is a jewel in the crown…. An oasis in the desert… In Cannock opposite the large Asda Superstoreon Avon Rd. Had authentic Jamaican food, and it tasted authentic an yummy. Had a lamb patty as starter and again, tasted like Tastees patty straight outta Kingston. Served by a Jamaican cook, we could not fault the service and just how reasonable this delicious food was. Definitely will spread the word, and will make it a frequent pit stop. Yes I.

Ordered meat plater no fish found, says every meal comes with rice etc not.jamaican flavours never found its just spicy and salty. Phoned restaurant don't wanna know about it

The service was amazing and l really enjoyed the food.

Oxtail beef had about 5 peices of oxtail (small peices) and was supposed to be a large. Jerk chicken wrap came mashed and soaking making it impossible to even eat

How this place isnt the most highly rated food in cannock area i have no idea, flavours are unreal , ive ate loads of carribean food from all round but this place is something else, freshly prepared and highly tasty, u get the depths of flavours and heat , my fave takeaway ever bar none, large jerk chicken with loads of steamed veg, smothered in gravy and a piece fried chicken aswell. Top food , top service and top top food AAAAAAAAAA

Ordered large oxtail and there was only 3 small pieces of meat which is a pisstake considering the price.

My 2nd time ordering now and I’m yet to be disappointed great food arrived hot and fresh if you love authentic Jamaican food, you’ll love woods Caribbean.

Just ordered from there and people that know real Jamaican food will tell u this Isn’t authentic jerk chicken no seasonin that bad had to use Levi roots jerk sauce to make it taste more like jerk 😂waited half hour guy behind counter hasn’t got a clue got my order wrong after 15 mins decided to tell me no brown stewed chicken then still got my order wrong rather travel 15 mins to wolves get proper food

First time here and the owners was so friendly. Her husband was so nice. My baby was upset he came out and put the telly on for her to watch cartoons. He explained everything to us and made us feel so welcome. Not from Cannock but will be coming back here often. Food was 10/10

Very good food just what me wants after a hard days graft

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and fully enjoyed it! Ordered the curried goat family of 4 meal, and there was plenty of food! The bbq wings were delicious too (homemade sauce btw) and the carrot cake was moist and tasty too! Will use again

Stunning food and brilliant service. I went as part of a group of 4 and when I couldn’t find something I wanted on the menu, they said they’d make me ackee and salt fish. Absolutely divine! The staff were super friendly and brought us an extra chair so we could sit in. The food was all freshly cooked and I was really happy to see homemade sorrel and ginger like an aunt of mine makes - it was clearly homemade and just as good as hers! We’ve taken home huge hunks of homemade cake and massive smiles. Thank you and we’ll be back!

Was walking home with a group of friends and decided to give this place a try, staff were warm, friendly and happy to give recommendations for my vegetarian friend. Portion sizes were amazing and everything was prepared fresh. I had the curry goat with rice n peas, steamed veg and mac and cheese and my partner had the BBQ chicken. Highly recommend to anyone!

Went on a whim with 3 friends and sat inside at the one table provided in the lovely little space in front of the counter. The staff were so friendly and the food was outstanding. Clearly freshly cooked, the vegetables were perfectly succulent and delicious, the macaroni cheese melted in the mouth, the rice and peas were great and the curry goat and ackee and salftish were worthy stars of the show. Portions were really generous and we ordered homemade cake afterwards which they sliced into enormous pieces for us and was absolutely delicious. Another little favourite feature was the homemade sorrel and ginger which was amazing. Highly highly recommended - clearly a family run business cooking a daily labour of love.

Not great food, shame as they seemed like a nice couple had high hopes for a new carribean, one meal had no meat and the other was overdone chicken.

Ordered food from a lot of caribbean places but this is by far the best one. Been a returning customer for a while. Each time we have been the staff have been friendlier and the food has gotten better and better. Massive portions and by far my favourite place to get food. Cannot recommend enough

Nice people but Food not very good ordered curry goat, there was no taste to the gravy, just veg, rice and peas in a tray really, not much meat. I had high hopes but sadly not to be. I Would recommend jamjams instead. That place is amazing.

Proppa nice jerk, dumplings, fried plantain and rice / pea. Highly recommended by myself. Edit…. I went back there and sampled the Goat, all I can say it’s the best I ever had from any Jamaican takeaway ever. Keep up the great work ladies.

Lord have mercy! I ordered from here using Uber on the 13/08. I literally can not express how bad the food was! The rice was definitely microwave rice and could not have been any further away from actual Caribbean rice and peas! The app did not list any of the options for the sides so I had to call to request it! The curry goat was pure fat, sloppy and the two dumplings I ordered were not two dumplings one was a festival and they was both disgusting, hard, tasted like raw dough! Being in Cannock I can imagine your target audience is white British people but please do not insult them and serve them the rubbish I received! I’m glad Uber returned my money. The only decent thing was my patty that I 100% know was not produced by this establishment!

Had a too good to go, which consisted of a chicken stew with rice and beans and let me tell you. The chicken was amazing definitely could tell it's been stewed the whole day, the rice and beans were amazing too with the perfect amount of spice. We bought two imported glass bottles of Fanta and coke which are very different to the normal Fanta and coke we know here. If you are feeling like giving this place a go make sure you do it!

Tried for the first time today, have never had Jamaican food before and was pleasantly surprised- I had the jerk chicken and the chicken was amazing though slightly spicy for my tastes (I love spice just don’t have a good tolerance for it!) the rice was incredible and I loved the dumpling. Can’t wait to try again next time and have something different!

Had jerk chicken and rice last night, it’s was beautiful highly recommended to anyone who want to try authentic Caribbean dishes, will definitely be tasting more from the menu

First time in last night. The people were warm and friendly. Atmosphere very peaceful, I could have slept whilst waiting for my takeaway! Had oxtail, rice n peas, very delicious. Please keep up this standard. I will be back.
