This place has vibes. Was jam packed when I went, but it was vibing nonetheless. I didn't personally spend any money as my friend treated me to drinks and food There was Hennessy and Champagne 🍾 for the birthday boy 👏 🥳🇯🇲💃🕺 I will be back!.

Very pleasant environment: good hospitable service from the staff: no hostile or intimidation from the customers who was seen to be friendly. A pub I would visit alone as a female, with good transport access from the surrounding location living.

Attended a Wake at this establishment. It had a cozy atmosphere, and the service was quick and friendly. The food was prepared by the deceased person's son's own catering company (excellent) so I can't comment on the in-house food - sorry! Sorry too, that I cannot comment on how much I spent because I only paid for a packet of crisps, everything else was provided by the deceased person's family

Good tunes, but way to packed out. There was no air in the place. It was all steamy and sweaty. Needed Ventilation. Also needed to turn the music down as we couldn't order the drinks at the bar properly.

Everyone was very nice especially the workers in side there's nuff respect to them 🙏

I was introduced to this pub by a friend and was pleasantly surprised. I've been here twice now on a Friday and enjoyed myself on both occasions. Good vibes, good music, friendly staff and the drinks are reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back again soon 😉

Good vibe for a local pub. Sports screen, outside areas and pool tables...

Always has great tunes and vibes, but as someone who lives across the road from it, not being able to sleep well until after 5am sometimes is really getting to me. The music inside isn't too loud it's the people leaving the pub. They don't try to get the punters to keep it down as they are drunk, shouting and blasting their music louder than the pub. I havent had a weekend where I have slept well in a long time. This is the biggest downside.

Fantastic, local, Black owned, family-run pub. Recently had a refurbishment, pairing fresh, modern decor with classic, vintage features. There's a lovely secluded beer garden, pool tables - with free pool weekly, a jukebox and karaoke on Sundays. Admission is always free at The Bell and the atmosphere is so comfortable and friendly, the pub attracts a very mixed crowd of ethnicities and ages. The food at The Bell is freshly made to order, authentic and delicious. The drinks are varied (from fresh coconut water to draughts and all the popular spirits) all at very reasonable prices. You can even have your events at The Bell - from Baby Showers & Engagement Parties to Nine Nights and Wakes. Visit The Bell, you won't be disappointed!

The staff are great here. All the staff smiling and seemed cheerful. I went to the pub some 20 years ago and had been back there until this evening. And pub feels the same. Prices for the drinks are overwhelming, as in not paying so much for a drink! I will visit again very soon. Thank you all that made the 8th a very memorable evening.

Nice cosy atmosphere for all to enjoy!

Feel uncomfortable just having to walk past this place. Been asked if I want to buy and if I'm selling drugs outside on a number of occasions in the past. Been in once with my colleagues. The women were immediately hit on by the regulars, who were rather aggressive. And the barman was clearly stoned off his nut. My advice? Try out the railway tavern or, further up the road, the Alfred. Much better crowd.

A nice friendly pub,a garden out the back where they have bbqs. Free pool twice a week on two tables.

Awful customer service and got charged for £5 for Orange juice and soda water. Soda water being £3, let's say if you Can't drink alcohol for any reasons, pregnant, diabetic or designated driver or else don't go there. Really disappointing!

Such a great night always really good music, good food and a good atmosphere always great on Friday and Saturday nights definitely worth going and drinks are well priced

Good place to go to kick start your party weekend. Busiest day is Fridays where there is a friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks, BBQ's and 'pub-grub'. Two pool tables and pumping club music till late. you can even get up and dance if you wish! It also has a 'massive' smoking area at the back of building with bench seating, great for the summer months. It also has quite a large roofed area for shelter. Only minor downside is car-park is rather small.

Traditional Irish music session starting up Tuesday 14th June 2011. Flutes fiddles accordians and so on. Should be very good. .....4 years later....We kept the session going through the summer of 2011, with varying success, but basically it never really took off. The pub was always a bit on the slightly depressingly quiet side, but the bar manager was a friendly enough guy and always gave us a few free drinks for playing. However, as soon as the football season started in mid-August, the big telly was on, flooding the bar area in green, and blaring football noises. Sat in front of this were yer usual gang of passive-aggressive, tattooed, lager-swilling football geezers, so we packed the instruments away, never to return. I can only hope the new management revitalises the place, as it is a fine old pub, and could be quite a venue as it's in a prime location.
