Absolutely diabolical and inedible food. I have a high bar before giving up on a dish, but found I could not take a second mouthful of the drunken noodles without feeling physically sick. All the meat served by this place seems to be old, stringy or rubbery, potentially reheated and foul tasting. The duck in particular tasted gamey and putrid. The vegetables were greasy and tasted strange. Even the sweet chilli sauce tasted rancid and the spicy mayo had separated. The spring rolls were edible but frozen and stodgy, with precious little filling. I naively put aside the negative reviews here, struggling to believe it could be so awful, and wondering, as some have suggested, whether other reviewers are simply unfamiliar with certain dishes. This is not the case. It clearly wasn’t an off night, but symptomatic of how this place must cut corners at every stage.

I ordered Pad Thai Noodles and The container came to me half full. Really disappointing. I almost questioned if someone had ate half of it; it was that bad. But the delivery bag was sealed. The restaurant basically gave me half the portion of what if should be. I wouldn’t recommend.

Friendly restaurant with delicious food. My partner and I visit regularly. The only negative I have is that one of the times we paid in cash and they didn't have the change, which was over £10. We always leave a tip so we used that to cover future tips but if it was a one=off visit I might have been annoyed.

I have been having take away from Thai for years now. Very sadly, tonight’s order of Poor Man’s Noodles was a complete disaster. My son could not eat his food, the chicken was a hard rubbery texture, it did taste of chicken. At first I thought it was raw. I had to leave my own dish to try and remedy my son’s meal. I tried to cook the chicken but it did not change the texture or tases. I’m so so angry and disappointed that I paid for this and it had to go in the bin as it was not safe to eat. The chicken rainbow rolls also fell apart as soon as one was being attempted to be taken from the container. The rainbow rolls have been like this for some time now. Sadly I think I will not be buying from this restaurant again.

Just seen a couple of Luke warm reviews. Actually our food was really nice. We had pad thais, massiman curry, chicken, some vegan dishes and a duck dish. Good flavours and the meat portions were generous ( didn't skimp on the duck ). Only thing I didn't like was the autumn roll. Seemed a bit overdone to me but my daughter loved it. I wish I'd got the summer roll. Would get again

We always order here on uber eats and it’s a go to! The green curry is delicious and a generous portion, slightly spicy which is nice but could do with some more veg. The pad thai is not to my taste personally, I prefer a drier less sweet one, but my partner loves it. A classic takeaway

Do not eat here, ordered off deliveroo, we live 2 mins drive away and the food was stone cold! Couldn’t even tell what was coconut rice or jasmine… duck was bland, £7.50 for 4 veggie spring rolls is ridiculous - overpriced and inauthentic

I haven’t received food which took over 2 hours - when i cancelled order I was charged £57 for food and cancellation fee. Restaurant doesn’t have a phone number so can’t even contact them. No answer on emails. Total scammers ! Never again. Use other honest companies which is plenty of..!

I got a takeaway on Uber Eats from this restaurant. I don't like to give bad reviews, but I'm afraid I was very disappointed with my food. I got a tofu pad Thai and egg fried rice. The pad Thai was very 'meh' and the egg fried rice was unpleasant to eat (so I didn't). I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend.

Addressed the elephant in the room; the below review is quite condescending! I’ve ordered the shared box with a portion of their Thai autumn prawn roll for tea via UberEat; delivery was prompt, and the packaging was adequate if this was comparable to the size of a McDonald's Happy Meal box. The description of each dish excited me, but it was short-lived, which was let down by the food. Rice: I cooked extra rice in case, as you never know, for a family of 3. My partner says it is cheap quality rice; I got it down to stale day-old rice. You should cook rice prior to opening at 5:00 p.m. (The rice on the left is how it should look) Chicken satay: looks nothing like the photo or description; it looks deep-fried, not grilled; the peanut sauce was smelling like it had been left out or gone bad; it smelled like rotten eggs or pork; nothing special in taste. Tai Calamari: I really looked forward to this dish, but everything was a complete mess. The oil was not good, and the calamari were either frozen or just not as fresh. If Morley did calamari, it would be these. Tai Pad Thai Prawns: Did Gordon Ramsey make this? This is not Pad Thai at all. My local Chinese takeaway makes this dish better, and that is an understatement, as it should never be the case. Prawn crackers were the highlight of the meal. Thai green curry was delightful, but my palate had already given up on me! Thai autumn prawn roll: cocktails of errors got a vegan prawn roll; rice paper was like soaking too long in water; it literally could not hold the stuff in place; Who put horseradish and green peas in the summer roll??? This is incomparable in so many ways, better visit 🇹🇭 or find an alternative meals to not let a dinner get ruined. This is worse meal I’ve had since Covid 2020!

Despite there are lot of annoying “Karen” types of white people left negative reviews here I still went ahead and had a lovely time with my friends! Really authentic food, I think you really have to be in the restaurant to know how great the foods taste! I love the Crab meat fried rice! The Curry was so lovely! 😻 Really authentic Thai! I sometimes think take away ruins the taste of dinner.. We can’t wait to go back! 💖💖💖

My favourite neighbourhood Thai. They’ve been delivering the goods for decades now and never let me down. Somehow they manage a staggering amount of takeaways at the same time as a small cosy dine in experience Pad cashew was great with nice juicy prawns. And Mr S liked the fresh different taste of his Kaeng Kari. Several options of wine available by the glass at reasonable prices and cocktails under £10.

Got a take away, cold on arrival, even though we picked it up, just a load of gloop, no vegetables, even though it was on the menu, extremely disappointing, never again

Ordered through deliveroo. Despite the receipt from deliveroo being correct it was missing an item. They didn't replace but deliveroo refunded. Great food awful service

Horrible takeaway from drinks to rice to curry

This Thai restaurant undoubtedly offers the best Thai cuisine I've tasted in London. The flavors are incredible and utterly delicious. I'm thrilled to have discovered this gem. Thank you!

Very very greasy, and overpriced

Food tasted pretty good, but was so expensive for the portion sizes, and was cold on arrival so had to reheat straight away. £26 for so little food, and that was with a £7 discount.

Lovely Thai restaurant very authentic. They seem to do a lot of trade online but they keep the driver's waiting outside so your not bothered when your having your meal. If you live nearby use the restaurant instead of being a lazy git, it's a great place and should be packed on weekends. The food, setting and staff deserve a lot better imo.

On Sunday there was plastic in my food. I reported it on Uber but no one has replied yet.

Went in tonight on a whim with a few friends. Quirky little place with absolutely brilliant Thai food. Was so full but could not stop eating. !! Good value too !

This might be a great restaurant, but I am sorry to say, our food never ever arrived. And the manager was rude about the failure, even though the delivery was all up to them. Total failure.

Ordered on Deliveroo. Honestly, awful from start to finish. The chicken Satay was freezing cold and rock solid, we put it straight in the bin. The prawn crackers were stale, also straight to the bin. Pad Thai - Flavourless. Drunken noodles - Flavourless with a large helping of chilli. Autumn rolls - mainly peas and lettuce. £35 I'll sadly never get back.

Love this spot! Very cute and cosy atmosphere with friendly service. And the food is delicious. Such a treat to find good Thai in London that's actually regional and resembles flavours you find in southern Thailand. Absolutely highly recommend! The low ratings on Google seem to mostly be about Uber eats, so ignore those and come dine in it's SO GOOD.

Deliveroo order - flavourless Thai green curry and soggy calamari which more resemble chicken nuggets. Will not be ordering again Also pretty expensive for the bad quality!

Really lovely spot for food and staff are absolutely amazing. I've done collection online from here maybe 8-10 times and unfortunately on about 2 of those occasions they had received my order and have collected my food within 5 minutes, the other times they have said they hadn't received my order and to take a seat and they will make it straight away. A bit inconvenient but the food is always really fresh and it never takes long. It's just something I've noticed. Food and flavour is 10/10 and the portion sizes are just right. Eating in is always a nice experience too and everyone always has a smile on their face. Would really recommend anything with the tofu in it, the flavour and texture is brilliant. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but always order the tofu dishes as they are so tasty.

I know people have mixed feelings, yet the takeaway slaps! The food was delicious and the portions were generous, I ordered the Sharer meal from Uber Eats. Gai Tod Hat Yai (Boneless Breast Strips) • Tai Autumn Rolls (Vegan) • Pad Dracula Tofu (Vegan) • Tai Drunk Man Noodles Prawn (, • Jasmine Rice • Thai Seafood Crackers Everything was fresh and warm, nicely packaged. The Tai Man Noodles were way too spicy for me (and I love spicy), it killed most of the flavour in the dish. It lasted for 2 days haha. I would definitely order again, hope people get the experience I enjoyed!

Missing item and they were not helpful, advised to cancel via deliveroo and re order, turned into a very expensive take away, food was luke warm at best but that is probably a deliveroo issue

The duck red curry was delicious The kaeng kari + roti was phenomenal (I'm used to Indian roti so it was a little greaser) I've saved it to eat here again and will suggest it to family and friends The best thai/tai food I've ever had and heard others in the restaurant saying the same.

Uber eats hugely lets this place down. Do not order through Uber eats. Collect your food or eat in. Restaurant needs to drop Uber, it's ruining their reputation. Three items were missing. The bag had split and the individual pots had split. The serving size are also very small considering the cost.

Turned up to an empty restaurant on a Fri night, should of know better and kept walking. Place was freezing and the toilet was out of action. Placed order and was presented with a stale portion of prawn crackers which we returned only to be given another portion which was even more stale!!!! Roti with the main course was beyond oily and the prawns weren't cooked through properly. Had to ask for the prawn crackers to be removed from the bill and no acknowledgement when mentioning the Roti. Couldn't recommend any less.

Just moved to the area and decided to try what’s around and was pleasantly surprised. Staff and service was great and agreed to serve me even though they were about to close. Ordered some autumn rolls and pad Thai, like the comments I did at first think the portion size was a bit small especially as the box wasn’t filled, however half way through was stuffed. Was my second time trying Thai as after my first experience years ago was unpleasant, I can now safely say I enjoy it and will be back. Definitely recommend! Thanks :))

So disappointed, we binned the majority of the food. Everything was so over cooked, dry and bland. How can you get rice so wrong as a Thai restaurant - it was rock solid… Even the potatoes in the curry were rock hard. Money wasted and Friday night dinner ruined.

I cannot believe that receiving such tiny portions after ordering take away was possible in 2023 ! And for that price, the quality isn’t even that good. Shame shame shame

I've just ordered food here from deliveroo, and the pad Thai and red curry cost £30 with service fee, and the portions are so upsettingly small. I even made my own rice at home to save money but thought the portions would stretch for 2 meals. The pad Thai really is a side or something. They are both such small lunch portions. Won't be ordering from here again. Have learnt to check reviews before ordering.

I ordered on Uber eats, chicken Pad Thai, chicken fried rice with pineapple, green curry and Chicken cashew nut. The portions were very small for the price and the chicken in all meals were really tough.

Very tasty food. When I was there the menu was a little limited but the food was delicious. Also used the take away service which was quick and the food was equally delicious - and this time the menu was more extensive. Shall certainly return. I recommend you give it a try

I just had a take away from here via Uber eats and it was very good! I’d recommend.

Just ordered through Uber eat and I am really regretting it. The food was absolutely disgusting, not eatable. The duck seemed old and cooked again. I just tasted it and made me sick to my stomach. The chicken rice was tasteless and unappetising. We had to bin everything. Money and food waste. I would never recommend this "restaurant" again.

We get their takeaway all the time because it comes quickly and is very nice. Proably ordered from them 8/ 9 times. However now the 4th time they have had a key item missing through deliveroo and no way to resolve. Called and they just said you have to re order it. Last time I said that would be the end but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We can't recommend them just too much of a dissapointment when it arrives.

the food was tasty, especially the decorations are very lovely. I noticed the owner make deliveroo and ubereats wait outside to get the foods, which is very thoughtful for guests who sitting inside.

Love this place, we often have the takeaway from here but it's even nicer eaten in. They are really friendly too, even though they are super busy with all the takeaways! The crab fried rice is delicious, especially with the prawn green Thai curry. Definitely recommend

Terrible food and not responding to complaints

Good food served quickly in a no frills setting with a lovely atmosphere. More vegetables instead of soya would improve the choice for vegetarians and vegans.

Delicious Masaman and Thai Green Curry - great for all diets (very good with allergies as well). They also keep the delivery drivers outside which makes eating there much more pleasant. Lovely little local restaurant :)

Excellent! Really authentic and delicious! We had read some average reviews before so were a bit apprehensive but actually really good experience. The food was super tasty. Every dish was great. In previous reviews I’d read that the door opens too much for delivery drivers. It seems staff have taken this on board and now the door is closed and drivers ring the doorbell so the door is open only when necessary. Good problem solving! The decor was minimal but nice and cozy setting we liked it. Service was good. Had a cocktail which was ok for the price. We will be back for more courses we didn’t select this time.

My first time here but its been here some time. Service was very good and its a small shop but very nice. Food was great I had a very spicey meal with jasmine rice. I'll visit again next time I have a craving for a tai meal.

We saw the reviews online and thought we would give it a go anyway because we wanted to support local. The service was really poor, food was slightly cold and the precession of delivery drivers coming in and out leaving the door open was really annoying. The sauce was nice just really bad atmosphere, cold food and poor service.

We checked the reviews before visiting and saw there were some less-than-favourable ones and sadly they were proven totally right! The 'restaurant' is more a delivery service so it is like sitting in the middle of an airport with a constant stream of wait-staff and delivery drivers. The door was opened every 5 seconds and therefore the restaurant was cold and the atmosphere terrible. The table hadn't even been cleaned before we sat there so it was laid up but with chunks of residual food from previous guests. The staff didn't seem at all bothered by our experience and totally focused on the takeaways so the service in the actual restaurant was appalling and our empty plates left until our next course came out. I would not recommend going to eat there at all. The food was ok, albeit cold, so maybe a takeaway would be a better idea!

Delicious food - quite pricey but worth it!

This place is treating delivery drivers really badly during the pandemic and the lock downs it was the drivers who saved the small businesses all drivers were made to wait outside in the rain for very long hours most were just asking for an update but there was no communication. Too many orders were accepted therefore the kitchen was very busy don't be so greedy please

Food is pretty good, if overpriced, but service is terrible. They got every order wrong and I accidentally ate a chicken summer roll even though I’m vegetarian. No apology, no attempt to make it right. Pretty bad.

I believe this restaurant started as a takeaway and only recently started table service. The takeaway service dominates the atmosphere with a constant flow of packages to the delivery riders waiting outside. That being said, we had a great meal with excellent service and good value.

Best pad Thai tofu. I've just so many in this area and boring compared to it. Great portion sizes and just yum yum. Sweet corn bites and the massaman curry are awesome epic.

This place gets loads of love for their deliveries, but I highly recommend you eat in! The service is amazing, the presentation beautiful, the food exciting and prepared perfectly, and the decor relaxing and cozy. Plus they can always give you your leftovers to take home!

The best Thai food I’ve ever had in the UK!Following a trip to Thailand several years ago, I’d longed to find somewhere here that offered the same amazing flavours. Tai restaurant is a godsend. (I ordered via Uber Eats, so presentation will likely differ it you eat at the restaurant).

Had a lovely meal here with my friend with the hardest working waitress we've ever met! She was super friendly and didn't see her stop moving all night, seemed to be hundreds of takeaway orders leaving the restaurant all night which shows its popular. However we were able to get a quiet table in the corner to catch-up. Would definitely come here again.

Worst experience ever, ordered pad Thai, immediately started feeling tired and sick truned out I got really bad food poisoning. Spent whole night vomiting with fever and chills. I see that people are complaining here of undercooked food. Clearly eating there is a hazard. Edit: staff is quite uneducated and rude. Not long before they lose all their clients

Looking forward to my takeaway and I was so disappointed. The rice fell out like a square block and you couldn’t bite into it. The chicken was so dry and unseasoned. Save your money and cook tonight.

Don't buy in that place, last night we ordered. The food never arrived and the driver said that he had given us the food in our hands! A total theft. No refund, they didn't belive us and by the end no food, no money and got called liars. Terrible experience and terrible service. (when they deliver it, the food is a solid ok)

Ordered tonight and Just Eat didn’t deliver for over an hour. The food is great but when I called to explain the situation, the response I got was pretty much, not our problem contact Just Eat, we handed over the food! Very poor indeed.

Tai Brockley is a find. A tiny, humble hub of authentic Thai food. Excellent service, great music, and vibes. Fresh cocktails - the Guava gin with fresh red pepper was original and delicious. Food was great- particularly the satay and fungi massaman. We loved Tai and will return. Only one bit of constructive feedback is that there must be a better way of managing the many many delivery drivers knocking on the door (shows how popular the food is but detracts from the intimate restaurant experience). Otherwise 5 stars.
