The Baltimore Hotel in Middlesbrough

Unfortunately, this was not somewhere that I would stay at again. The room was ‘tired’ and there were sweat marks on the pillows. The breakfast was very poor.

The rooms although spacious at least this one was I can not give a review better than 2 star based on the quality of fixings were loose and the beds need a drastic replacement the mattresses were almost to the point that when you sat on them your body would meet the base board its rather noisy and that’s due to main road the hotel is on the staff were polite but does need a big upgrade for the cost of the said room

Disturbed nights sleep. Number of little things below standard. Not good value for money. Cooked breakfast was not worth it. Would rather go to the Premier Inn for only a little more and then use the Toby for breakfast.

Noisy with the disco downstairs. hotel room fittings were broken and repaired badly. Curtains were tatty and inadequate to block out the light. Overall not a great place to get a decent nights rest checked out within an hour of booking in…. Did not get a refund.

A unpretentious hotel restaurant that is scoring way beyond its location. A reminder of what we had in London in abundance before the downturn. We both had three courses and each course was sublime. Real stars included the asian coleslaw, beef rib and sticky toffee and banana pudding. Smoked mac' n cheese was pretty good too. The menu is extensive and at least half the price of similar items in London. When you are fed up of London's glorified pub grub and pizzas this is where you come.

Did not respond to our booking request. What a poor standard of customer service.
