Really good food. We were well looked after by two friendly and helpful guys who advised us on the different menu items. Food was gorgeous. Service great. Would highly recommend.

The service was good and all the group were happy with their food, with the house specials having quite a kick so good if you like spice. The does take a while to be cooked although they did serve a number of takeaway orders but nice not to be rushed and have time to talk.

It is with regret that I post this review because as a relative local this is my go to Indian and has been for years but because they priorities online orders people were walking out because of the lack of food after 1 + hrs of waiting for there orders which is totally unacceptable we did persevere and to be honest it was fantastic and still think its the best tasting Indian food in the area but will I return ? probably cus I'm not in any rush to get my nosh but if you are go elsewhere and always wonder what you might be missing.

Loved the curry here. We went on a Sunday evening. Service was attentive, but not over the top. Good value for money, with nice size portions, not massive, but you came away full. The menu had a good selection of specials and traditional dishes. Poppadoms and dips to start were delicious. My lamb byriani was incredible, the lamb was so tender, and the veg curry to go with it was delicious and the perfect level of spice. I wish you were my local Curry house in Exeter... We will be back if we're back visiting the area again. Forgot to take photos as was enjoying the food so much!

Food was amazing and really full of flavour. Service was slow to start with but it was extremely busy for a Thursday night and only two staff so that's to be expected. But the food made up for this.

This is a very relaxed restaurant. The ambiance is lovely because the lighting is dim and not bright. The food is very good.

We stayed just around the corner from this restaurant and arrived friday evening. After looking at Trip Advisor we decided to visit Balti Kitchen. We were definitely not disappointed. Absolutely amazing food. Very reasonably priced. Amazing service all round from all the staff. Thank you Shipon for looking after us so well. Not delivered until 9:30, ordered at 7:00, not worth the wait, given so many other restaurants in Stratford I won’t order again. When the food did turn up cold and it tasted funny so we couldn’t even eat it.

Booked a week in advance for Tuesday 20th Aug at 7.30pm. Arrived and only two tables occupied, though it was mid-week. Friendly welcome. Ordered drinks and food (starter and main) from a good selection. A family of four and another couple arrived whilst we waited for our food to arrive. Food arrived after 10-15 mins and it was presented well - Fish Baja was like a fish steak (sliced) and quite a strong-tasting fish, so not cod or haddock. Lovely herbs and spices though. Main courses were excellent and well presented. Served hot on plates. Good Indian music played in the background. Bill was a very respectable £60 including two drinks each. Recommended.

A very disapoiting visit We booked a table for 6.30pm for farthers day a table for 4. When we arrived the table was only set for 2 We ordered drinks and food We did not get starters for over 40 minutes Then had too wait another 30 minutes for main courses The food we had was very nice but the service was appauling We watched at least 25 takeaways go out while waiting for òur food Balti kitchen eating I customers should take priority

I went in last Monday with my brother's and ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala. Despite being the only ones in the restaurant, the service was slow and they gave me the wrong meal. Masala is not sweet with coconut. The portions were tiny and my meal had five small pieces of chicken This is not a restaurant I would recommend.

Food cold on arrival and some missing, when asked a bout missing items wanted to charge me more for delivery, had been using them for years but not anymore standard gone down hill

2nd time I’ve been here good service good food great value for money. Had no problems at all . If I’m going to put a negative it’d be the stairs to the toilet are quite steep

They sent to incorrect address twice even though the delivery address on order was correct When food arrive even thou courier said it was a fresh order it clearly was not. Have used the restaurant before and always good. The courier’s let them down on this occasion sadly I’ve requested a full refund which I’m awaiting confirmation for

Disappointed to be honest. 1st time customer. The food was cold, and average in taste. I had chicken tikka Pathia, and to be honest probably the worst I’ve ever tasted. Bland, lacking spice and average at best.

Food was fairly average as two of the dishes we ordered were probably made with meat from the tandoor oven with a different sauce. We found the meat to be a bit on the dry side. We also found the service to be a rush as the staff asked us if we were ready to order barely 5 minutes after we sat down. He did this at least twice and the restaurant was not even 60% full!!!

Really welcoming restaurant and staff, clean and comfortable. Great food as expected l. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend

Missing naan bread delivered after we’d eaten the rest of the meal. They did deliver it, but too late to eat with the meal. They did apologise.

Had dinner here with my husband whilst staying the night in Stratford. The restaurant was nice, clean and comfortable. Our meals were lovely and the price was reasonable. We would eat here again and recommend.

After watching an afternoon film at the Everyman Cinema we planned a curry on the way home. The Balti Kitchen was on the way home so we thought we would give it a go. We were so glad we did, the menu had all the classics and a good choice of house specials that were different from the norm, staff were spot on and the place had a nice buzz to it. Definitely we will be going again.

Fantastic food, and even better when it arrived earlier than it said!

We had absolutely incredible food here! We got a takeaway while we were staying in the area. The prices are really reasonable, fantastic selection and when we spoke to them over the phone they advised what to avoid as I am gluten intolerant, they were really helpful. The staff were also friendly when I collected the order. We asked if we could have masala sauce instead of vegetable curry with our biryani and they were more than happy to help. We almost opted for other places because there was no labelling on the menu about gluten, but I am so glad we phoned and ordered from here. I think it would be great to put the information about gluten on the menu because it turned out I had so much choice. I cannot recommend this place enough. We also ordered through their website for collection which offered 10% off.

We have always ordered food from here. This time they made a mistake on one of our order. They gave us a plain rice instead of mushroom rice which we have ordered. We then called the restaurant & told them about this. Thankfully it was nice of them to send us the mushroom rice (it came literally 10mins later). However I find it quite cheeky that they've (the driver) asked TO RETURN the plain rice?!!! Well, we've served it onto a plate as WE WERE STARVING. Just drove for 2hours and we just want to eat. This is not about me having a free portion of rice but what they gonna do with it? Throw it or deliver it to another house - hygiene alert. There's no fault on the quality & taste of food. Curries here has always reach my expectation. I only wished there's more King prawn on Aziz specialty, I've got chewy lamb, about 3-4 pieces of chicken and 1 King prawn. The garlic chicken was lovely. Best of all is my favourite peshwari naan bread. It was lush!

This was a fabulous and authentic Balti experience. The flavour profile of my tikka masala dish was brilliant. I’m beginning to realize that just about every Indian restaurant I frequent in the UK will be stellar. Very reasonable prices, and expertly and lovingly prepared authentic Balti cuisine. You won’t be disappointed. Five star ⭐️

Good place. Affordable. Has the typical curry, but also wonderful regional/chef specialties which allow the competence of the chef's abilities to meld spices and ingredients such as lemon. Impressive

Food was hot and everything present. Only downside is that it’s was all very bland. Didn’t enjoy it .

This eating experience was one of the strangest I've ever had. We arrived and was shown to a table. We were put 1 meter away from a dishwasher, a multitude of dirty plates. Empty chutney trays, buckets of cutlery in water and chipboard just propped up against the wall. We ordered food, the staff were polite. Our starter came, the waiter then proceeded to get a used mince sauce and give it to us. The main meal came and it was bland. As were eating a man a metre away started emptying a dishwasher and draining water into a bucket from the plates. As the meal progressed the waiter then started putting empty chutney trays on our table. It was very off putting. The whole place felt grubby and greasy. I would recommend avoiding.

Staying in Stratford for the week, made a big family order, all the food arrived piping hot and correct. Decent value for money, would definitely recommend…

In Stratford upon Avon for the Overland Show at the Race Course. Fancied a curry and was recommended the Balti Kitchen by my B&B. My goto curry is a prawn curry with egg-fried rice which is what I ordered. This was one of the best prawn curries I have ever eaten, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion was perfect with an abundant quantity of prawns and the sauce was delicious !! 5 Stars from me.

We have just eaten at the Balti kitchen and what a great restaurant! Service was excellent, Tariq and the team were super helpful. We had the chicken Balti and Chicken chili Mossalla both beautiful dishes. We are staying at the Hilton so it is right on our doorstep. Even if you are not quite as close this is well worth a visit, we were there at 6:30 and the place was quite busy and had a really good atmosphere. If you are in Stratford and are looking for a brilliant authentic Indian meal then Balti kitchen will not disappoint. Very reasonably priced as well.

The BK has been my go-to curry house for the last 15 years when visiting Stratford, and I was delighted to see my old friends Atul, Tariq and co. again on my most recent visit. 2 curries - a rich, spicy chicken Madras and a tasty, complex lamb sag - in three nights. Top notch appetizers and accompaniments; friendly and professional service. I never feel like trying anywhere else, this restaurant is truly my happy place. Just outside the town center but worth finding.

We ordered last minute and quite late and it was with us very quickly, lovely curry, tasty, not fatty, decent amount of meat. All tasted fresh. Will definitely use again!

Normally the food here is great but tonight the food took 1 hour and half to turn up the naan bread missing of the order and the food was cold I’m hoping it’s just a one off !!!

Had the Jamdani Bahar, a lovely chicken dish with wonderful flavor and spices. The service was exceptional - the staff were very friendly and accommodating to us. My parents enjoyed their dishes as well. Would highly recommend.
