The food is ok. Delivery was quick and food hot on arrival. Dahl was disappointing but chicken tikka biryani was nice.

Really disappointed we've had take out before and it was lovely ordered this evening and so disappointed with the whole meal, arrived quickly but lukewarm all dishes very bland no flavour to the point we didn't finish the meals because so bland, cold and just not enjoyable at all. Real shame as it will put us off ordering from them in the future waste of £45 especially as no one finished the meals so threw away

One of the nicest Indian takeaways I’ve ever had, quality and taste of food was perfect.

We had a delivery, the food was delish, and it arrived quickly, I got three different ranges of spice levels for my family because we are all different. The descriptions matched the heat. Will order again.

On a recent trip to Dorset we ordered a takeaway away from here to be delivered to a cottage we were staying in for holiday. The food arrived in time. It was piping hot despite a long drive from the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the portions ample. I would definitely use again.

I can understand the excellent reviews on here. A very timely delivery and friendly service. The food was amazing and good value too. My only problem is I am due to move and I only just discovered this place!

Staying locally on holiday so ordered as a 1 off and wasn’t disappointed, as a big curry eater i wasn’t disappointed, they delivered it to the site we was staying at and all food was piping hot and of very good quality, will 100% use again when we are back in the area

Very nice chicken vindaloo - recommended!

First time in the area and got a take away last night and both the veggie and meat dishes were delicious. Would reccomend the very tasty and authentic stuffed paratha

Went too tear into my nann bread and found a used plater inside of it. Very annoyed and disappointed not to mention my partner and I felt very sick after and scared to use any take away again. Food and hygiene standards have been informed

Absolutely delicious, flavoursome curry. I had the Garlic butter chicken and it was incredible, the sauce was mixed with onions which was great, nice that it wasnt just a smooth sauce, good portion sizes. Naan bread was great too. 10/10 would recommend!

Unfortunately I did not receive a good take away from here. The portions in the main dishes was small, counting only 7 pieces (2cmx2cm) of chicken and lamb in each. The rice and main meals were bland and equal in flavour to a supermarket brought one. The last complaint was the food was barely warm and had to be reheated. Not good for £27.

Sadly, I cannot agree with the reviews for this place. We must have been very unlucky as the meal we ordered was terrible. ChickenTikka Massala was watery and the biryani was very dry and the veg curry was just vegetables in a spicy water 🤢

Order via just eat. I have used this restaurant many time as I believe it is the best in Dorchester. When my order arrived they had sent me a small instead of the regular which I order. I rang them and they were very apologetic and sent me a regular curry as order. Mistake happen and the were more than happy to rectify. Will be using them again as always.

Really bad , all the sauce the same for starter , main and side v strong tomato taste . Nan bread soggy came far to fast . . Won't go here again , thought give it a try Bombay nights better

We've enjoyed so many dishes from the Balti Express - always quick to deliver, always tasty and fully worth trying out loads on their menu - so many good ones! Many thanks to the team (we will miss you!) from the Saturday Wessex Rd'ers :)

Could do with a face-lift inside but don't let this put you off as the food has always been very nice and the service is very good.

Worst Indian Food ever! Unbelievably bland and oily! all Currys taste the same NOTHING! just full of oil, very poor quality! microwave foods are 10 times nicer!

The best indian take away food in dorchester! So tasty they never miss a beat! Very attentive to allergy requests and vegaterian options. This was a perfect take away for date night. 10% off when we paid in cash. Free onion salad and sauce which always makes the customer feel loved! We will be going here from now on. loved it!

Not great. First time ordering a takeaway from this place, quick delivery but food was bland, watery, not warm enough, nan bread was so dry couldnt finish it. Who ever says its the best indian in Dorchester, wow!

Just had an excellent Meal Deal A for 2 persons. Exceptional quality, couldnt fault it. Delivered in half the estimated time and was only £20.

We have tried all the Indian restaurant in Dorchester now. This is the worst by a long way. The food is bland and oily. It tasted like it came out of a cheap supermarket jar plus a lot of oil. We threw most of it away in the end.

Have used the Balti Express for years, they never fail to deliver on quality and taste (Sag Panner is the best I have tasted anywhere!) The staff are always friendly and no requests are ever a bother. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious! I can not commend this place enough. It is clear that this restaurant invests care and love into their food. Had 3 curries from them and each one was beautifully prepared. Nice fresh vegetables used, authentic tasting and overall just really flavoursome. Best curry in Dorchester and the best curry I have had in years! Thank you Balti Express :-)

Ordered a Methi King Prawn and a Saag Paneer whilst in Dorchester on holiday. Excellent food easily comparable to a good Indian takeaway in Leicester. Not too hot but plenty of well integrated flavour. I would go back.
