2 very thin slices of tomato 2 very slim slices of cucumber Hardly any lettuce Worst salad sandwich I have ever had definitely won't be getting anything else from them

Please do not put your services as delivering to my postcode. Which is 3 miles away. If you don't deliver outside of womvwell. To call up and be told. Yeah order online we just cancel you. Maybe stop wasting people's time and just take the postcode delivery off your multiple platforms. Wonder how many have orderedonline have their money taken n u just cancel.

Got my order wrong I ordered a ham salad sandwich and got a salad sandwich and I asked for a pork pie but never got them and said they was bringing it back and never turned up

Ordered two big breakfast boxes from this restaurant on Uber Eats, I had to wait over an hour for the food to be made and delivered. Came to £26.10 and the food was a load of oily slop. Bacon was tough, hash browns oily and the toast you'd bite into was just a load of cooking oil. This was seriously poor-quality food.

Ordered a large bacon sandwich barely come with any bacon on all fatty and rock solid. Also not to mention the mould on the tea cake but apparently it’s not mould it’s “off the packaging” when I could literally taste mould as soon as I bit into it. Would not recommend don't waste your money.

Always early deliveries, a variety of tastey food, comply with all requests no matter how odd.

The large sandwich only had 2 slices of bacon, the sausage was of terrible quality, the sandwiches were wrapped badly with filling spilling all over. The hashbrowns were full of oil and felt reheated. Could not eat them. At least the delivery was fast and we could pay by card. Will not order again.

Beautiful food for the past both past Sundays now there food is tasty filling very satisfying highly recommend bake house Wombwell for Sunday dinners 10/10

Ordered a Yorkshire pudding wrap and a pepperoni pizza, went in shop to order. Said it would be 15 minutes wait, returned after 15 minutes and said it would be another 5-10 minutes wait and offered to deliver it home, which we agreed to. Went home and it didn't arrive for another 35 minutes, so took around 50-60 minutes in total. Yorkshire pudding wrap was good, however the pizza was not nice. It had the characteristics of a cheap supermarket mozarrela pizza that they've added pepperoni and extra cheese onto. Wouldn't order from here again.

It took 2 and half hours to deliver my food ordered a kids beef dinner and a beef sandwich I couldn't even bite into the beef it was that chewy don't know how the expected a child to chew it I also got chips pie and peas the pie was cold the peas was hard, dry and crusty worst meal I ever had will not be ordering from here again nearly £50 spent for it to go in bin

Good honest proper Yorkshire snap! I really do recommend the bake house, had several sandwiches from here and all have been spot on!!!!

Terrible food, paid £6 for a hot roast pork sandwich and when it came it was dry pork on a stale and unbuttered breadcake, ordered a slice of cake too and that also was like a brick. Wasted £16 ordering from here and definitely will not be ordering again.

Decent local bakers where I sometimes go for a roast pork sandwich at lunch. Staff are very friendly. Very nice sandwich plenty of meat and good quality bread. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the lack of crackling. Although maybe that's not a thing in Barnsley as some of the others I've tried don't seem to do it either.

very very Rude no concept of customer service , i work in hospitality it was my first time going to bake house with my little boy i asked if they did a cheese and onion pastie and a woman who was not even serving me shouted that’s Greggs not us in a very rude manner ,both me and my little boy felt uncomfortable surely there’s other places do cheese and onion pasties besides greggs 😂, so i replied sorry i didn’t know ive not been in before and got no apology for the rude behaviour. on the order i did get the bacon sandwich was really dry and bacon hard my son didn’t eat it .i will never return again i work in hospitality and pride myself on customer service the way a place treats people is key kindness costs nothing

Took over two hours to be delivered and when it did my order was wrong and burnt didnt taste right at all, cant believe i wasted my money. Definitely do not recommend.

Decent full English breakfast & they nicely gave me extras instead of mushrooms and tomatoes, well worth the money & do not understand why this place has many negative reviews! Can’t go wrong, will be ordering again

Ordered months ago and received a mouldy breadcake so haven’t ordered for ages. Ordered today on Deliveroo: Large Breakfast, Hot Roast Beef Sandwich, Old School Cake one with custard, one without. Called them and asked the bacon and sausage in breakfast to be changed to spam and tomatoes. Received our order, the whole bag was soaked in custard, it went all over. The breakfast had 2 bits of spam, no tomatoes at all. Hash browns were soggy. Beans and mushrooms tasted like plastic. Eggs were very overdone, not yolky at all. Went in bin. Roast beef sandwich was extremely bland, tasted like nothing. The old school sponge wasn’t old school sponge, it had jam in it? Custard all over the bag and other items and cold. Was a waste of £20. Won’t be ordering again.

Not very nice at all didn't expect half of frozen shep pie with no mince meat at all.. My son had same order a few days ago & there was plenty of mince & mash. 100%. Frozen pie today was not nice at all.very disappointed.

Our go to place for hot roast sandwiches. Always amazing and still piping hot when delivered.
