The Back Room in City of London, Westminster

Vi ble vist videre fra Hard Rock Cafe da vi bare skulle ha noe å drikke. Damen utenfor hard rock forklarte oss at de hadde en cocktailbar på baksiden. Da vi kom inn stod bartenderen og spilte dart. Men samboer bestilte en øl og en mojito. Mojitoen smakte forferdelig. Ingenting som minnet om drinken som faktisk var bestilt. Bartenderen virket ikke til å bry seg nevneverdig. Anbefales ikke til noen!

Encontramos esto mientras esperaba nuestra reserva de restaurante, este es el café de roca dura original y fue increíble dentro del barman Callum era un gran barman asegurándose de que nada era demasiado incluso darme una lata de limonada para mi mano fuerte! y el pan plano era increíble que desearíamos haber comido aquí en lugar del restaurante de roca dura, sin duda creo que hizo este lugar

Hard Rock debería avergonzarse de tener un barman como ese detrás del mostrador. Tomé una copa con unos amigos el sábado por la tarde. El barman con muchos tatuajes y un sombrero francés era la persona más ruda que he visto en mucho tiempo, irrespetuoso, sin modales y probablemente racista hacia los no británicos... ¿Me pregunto por qué? ¡Qué vergüenza Rock!

Reservé una mesa en el Back Room con dos semanas de anticipación, para que mi familia comiera y viera el fútbol. A las 14:00 del día de la reserva llamé a la sala de atrás para volver a confirmar la reserva y verificar que llegaríamos a las 4:00. 30 pm. El gerente confirmó nuestra reserva y puso en aviso reservado sobre la mesa. A las 4. 15 pm volvimos a la sala de atrás para encontrar otra familia en nuestra mesa reservada. Cuando me acerqué al gerente, me pasó a otro miembro del personal, que me informó que no reservan mesas! Cuando la desafié que habíamos reservado con dos semanas de antelación y que llamamos hace un par de horas para volver a confirmar la reserva, ella me informó de que llegamos tarde para la reserva (en realidad llegamos 15 minutos antes) y que habían dejado a alguien más tener nuestra mesa. Como todas las mesas fueron tomadas no tuvimos más opción que irnos. Mi consejo a cualquiera sería encontrar otro bar / restaurante local donde la dirección y el personal tienen respeto por sus clientes.

Overcharged. We were overcharged and refund refused! We had several rounds. We we were sent here as hard rock were busy. Be aware they will overcharge you!! I when i pointed this out i was then escorted out of the pub. I was not impressed as we bought several rounds. We could have been overcharged every round. They did not care. Please be aware!!

Eigentlich wollten wir hier nur eine Kleinigkeit Trinken, weil es im eigentlichen Hard Rock Café zu voll war. Wir fanden einen total schönen, ruhigen Ort, in dem es viele Gerichte gibt, die man aus dem Hard Rock Café kennt. Eine super Ergänzung!

Hiddem gem behind Hard Rock Café. It's a kind of a branch of Hard Rock itself. Good prices, good environment, good music. A nice place to have a beer or a typical cider. I recommend the Orchard Pig.

We had the most fabulous night at the Back Room for our son's 21st birthday - from the initial booking (Valentina simply could not do enough to make it special) - the evening was literally perfect - Staff incredible - atmosphere electric - the DJ was amazing and had everyone up dancing (and singing !) - everyone had the most wonderful night - thank you

We had been down to go to the winterwonderland, and given the rain wandered out to find a drink. It was virtually empty, when we arrived, so we ordered a drink and sat down. It was extremely comfortable, then we noticed some food being brought in, and we ordered the shrimp and wings, both were excellent. Thanks for a nice surprise of finding this place and we will be back

Whilst waiting for a table at the HR Cafe, me and a few friends went for a drink at the Back Room Bar, where we were so joyful and professionally served by Chico. We had no clue about this cosy bar but given the experience, We'll definitely come back - hope to see you again soon for another great cocktail!

Im Gegenteil zu mach anderen Lokalen ist da Back Room bei weitem nicht so überlaufen. Die Einrichtung und Deko ist einfach nur genial und versetzt einen in eine völlig andere Zeit zurück. Nette und flotte Barleute und gute Getränke gibt es natürlich auch.

Me and my other half spent ages walking round for somewhere to eat, panned on eating at the HRC but being a 60 min wait to be seated we decided to look somewhere else for this bar just at the back omg what a gem, use to be the original HRC still has the old ceiling, food was delish and VERY reasonably priced for City prices drinks were lovely would definitely recommend..

Yes Yes Yes - pure hidden gem. Infact a local to me and never been before. Friendly team working here will be coming back again and again :) keep great work up

We arrived at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch and it was 1.5 hour wait to be seated. The host directed us to The Back Room around the corner. There were only a couple people in the place when we arrived. The service was great. The menu was limited but the food was from the Hard Rock. The wings were fantastic. It was a cozy little respite from the rain outside. There is rock memorabilia but its not labeled, as it is in the Hard Rock Cafe.

Para comerte una pizza con una buena cerveza, perfecto. Buen trato del camarero y decoración muy chula. La música buena y de volumen bueno para poder charlar.

This place is different from the usual pubs in the area but somehow misses out on being really desirable. Lots of memorabilia which doesn't quite work in creating a great atmosphere, probably not helped by the barman leaving the bar unmanned at times. Still, decent wine at a fair price, it's worth a try.

Visited here one afternoon for a drink before work with a friend. Considering there were only 5 people in the bar the service was extremely slow. My friend and I were left waiting at the bar for 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged us! Won’t be visiting here again.

Small pub, apparently associated with the Hard Rock Cafe. It is cozy and comfortable with a decent selection of beer/ales as well as cocktails. The food is standard pub fare. We liked the informal atmosphere and the close proximity to our hotel

We visited this great bar to watch the world cup quarter final. The lady Estella was brilliant and with thousands trying to find a pub with a screen she had saved us enough tables for ten people in front of a big screen. We enjoyed a gt pizza and whilst there was a small problem in the kitchen, they brought us out free crisps and chips to keep us going. Thanks again. Old back room of Hard Rock Cafe renovated into pub. Cozy feel and proprietor Andrew is a likeable Irish fellow! Great to catch football, soccer and other matches. Nice to find a place right in Mayfair that is a pub and not expensive!
