Food was nicely but lacks turkish taste also lack of turkish sauce and bread. Prices are on higher side as for quantity

It is our only destination for dinner every weekend. It is a restaurant where you will definitely find delicious and fresh food, with friendly staff. We definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely dinner here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and managed to make a table available last minute. The atmosphere was relaxing and the tables clean and decorated nicely with candles and flowers. The lovely waitress reccomended the food to us and we were so happy, the best balaclava and lamb we have ever had in a Turkish/Lebanese restaurant. Another review said the food was dry, I can vouch that it absolutely isn’t! The kitchen was open and the chefs were also friendly and took pride in the food they were preparing. Very clean toilets also which is always a good sign. Would highly reccomend - it’s also great if you’re trying to be healthy. Thank you for a lovely experience for my birthday :)

We met here as a big group of friends. A nice and cosy place to meet your friends and to have delicious foods, kebabs and alcoholic drinks including traditional Turkish raki and selection of wines. Friendly staff, always smiling. I recommend.

AWFUL 😞 Unfortunately a group of four of us visited on Saturday 6pm 09/12/23. We ordered a falafel starter which was soggy and devoid of any flavours. Now I'm only going to mention my meal as this is my review, my meal was parsley pepper and spiced minced lamb shish kebab with salad and rice. Firstly the plate was stone cold as was the kebab and rice, not sure but the last time I read about pre cooked rice it has to be served at a very hot temperature to ensure it's low bacterial content. The rice clearly wasn't cooked fresh as it was cold, . Kebab greasy and no flavour whatsoever totally missed the parsley pepper and spices this restaurant is a total p!ss take, no atmosphere and very hard uncomfortable chairs. There is one good thing I would like to say about this restaurant; the door opens easily so your exit is quick, unlike any return.

The servers were attentive and gave great recommendations . The aubergine special came with 8 skewers of lamb and chicken which were all beautifully cooked. Came with salad and plated on rice. Very substantial for 3 persons.

We had the amazing night with super delicious and flavourful Turkish Mezes and salad with a juicy kebap platter. Had two rounds of Turkish Raki as a requisite and complementary to the food and finished with a crusty and super fresh Baklava served with pistachio spreads and vanilla ice cream. This place is a must go not only for Turkish expats longing for food of Turkey but also a must taste for everyone searching for new delights..

Just got home after a lovely evening, with delicious food and excellent service. They went out of their way to make my mum enjoy a rare evening out for her 85th birthday. They were welcoming and attentive to her disability needs too. She and I had a lovely meal, it was fresh, quality ingredients, well prepared, with outstanding service, thank you! We/I hope to return soon.

Not much atmosphere as only 5 diners on a Friday evening. Staff were helpful. Hummus starter was bland . Shaksuka was Ok and stuffed vine leaves as you would expect. Chicken casserole seemed devoid of any flavour. Minced lamb and aubergine kebab did not appear to have been near a grill and came covered with a bland red, tomato? sauce. Disappointing.

One of the best Turkish Cuisine restaurants this side of London. Looks like the Chef also knows butchery which makes all the difference. Wonderful staff who looked after us. 2nd time I have been this month.

Called in for dinner on a Saturday night, staff were friendly and helpful, food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Menu descriptions could be a little bit better as we ordered extra rice for a meal when it already was included with the dish. Overall good.

We came by chance on a Saturday night at 7pm and, chanced a table. We were granted such and we were most thankfull. I suppose it was the Owner that granted and took us to our table. Such a nice and relaxed atmosphere, we placed our order and our starter came quickly. I had the adana kebab, my wife the ''cassreole'' both items were fresh and delicious. Booked this venue based upon TA ratings and it didn’t disappoint. Table for 9 booked to celebrate 40 years since we started work together in 1983. Four mixed hot and cold starters. Good bread. Mains off the menu included skewers chicken and lamb. Turkish desserts to finish. Excellent service. Very nice lady managing the restaurant. Thank you

We were spending the night in Warwick and came here without a reservation. Despite being busy they were very accommodating. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. I had a chicken casserole and my husband had adana, both were lovely and would definitely come here again if in the area.

Visited for the first time, very attentive service and upon asking for advice on ordering a variety of dishes and quantities we received a perfect choice. Beautiful red Turkish wine and everything at reasonable prices, would highly recommend a visit. Perfect for children as well who can sample different dishes.

Best Turkish food I’ve ever tasted!!! And the staff are so welcoming and friendly which makes the whole experience a 10/10. Quick service, super accommodating and great value for money . Will definitely be eating here again. If you are in Warwick you should definitely try this restaurant out!

First time been in the restaurant with the new management. Authentic turkish food with selection of Turkish wine. Excellent service, everything was great.

Update: had dinner here again and under new ownership it has changed slightly. Still has an interesting wine list and the food was great but just slightly down on what it was previously. Only complaint... No Turkish Delight or dessert options. Still a solid option and definitely worth a visit. Absolutely loved our meal at Aubergine. The sultan's feast was huge and meant we took leftovers home. The wine list is eclectic with some interesting Turkish wines. Only challenge was getting the reservation in the first place as multiple messages and calls were required, I'm glad I persisted as it is well worth the effort!

Being a vegetarian it was great to have a number of options. I had the vegetarian kebab which was lovely. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. I'll happily comeback here when I am visiting Warwick again

What a lovely night we had in Saturday. Seven of us were well looked after at this up market Turkish restaurant. Friendly staff, six chose to have a shared meal while I went solo and throughly enjoyed my Lamb shank. Excellent food,good wine and good value too Thanks

Ordered through JustEat. 8.20pm to 8.40pm they said. At 8.40pm I checked and they changed it to 9.20pm to 9.40pm. Called to cancel and was told it was too late as the driver had just collected. Surprise surprise I'm not hungry now. £30 for a meal for one will be going in the bin when it finally arrives.

We love to find small independent restaurants and this place certainly didn't disappoint, beautiful food and really friendly service. We will certainly be back

We had last been to The Aubergine pre-pandemic and each time we went there the food was amazing and the ambience and service memorable. I can only think they've changed their staff, both front of house and in the kitchen. Particularly in the kitchen. The starters were absolutely average. Four of us ordered three different main courses and none of us were impressed. We were also kindly given chips meant for another table before staff realised their mistake and whipped them away, three chips short as we thought they were for us. Such a disappointment. This was meant to be a special celebratory meal organized by my daughter. I felt sorry for her, as she'd gone to such trouble, and for all of us as the experience was only memorable by how average it was.

My husband and I came here with our 4 and 8 year olds, it was absolutely beautiful. The kebabs were cooked to perfection, so juicy and packed with flavour. Our eldest son is a really picky eater but he ate more here than he ever...

The service here is ok. The food is hit and miss. The lamb dish was as tough as old boots, the chicken dish was better. Expensive but there is a 20% discount in some days in the week.

Went on Sunday afternoon so was quiet as expected. Service was brilliant so can't fault that however the food wasn't anything to shout about. The turkish bread was okay, wasnt that fresh and went cold and stale very quickly. Calamari was very nice however the halloumi was very rubbery and the meat in the Adana Kebab wrap was average at best. Topped off with a lack of sauce (besides ketchup and mayo), this restaurant fails to deliver a real taste of Turkish food as seen in other Turkish restaurants. Witnessed the chef eating food twice whilst he was cooking our food which I would assume is a health and safety violation, especially given that he wasn't wearing gloves. Extremely disappointed with the food despite the friendly and helpful staff.

Early doors family meal with a mix of adults, children and toddler (high chairs available), the staff at Aubergine were great, the food was really nice (Mezze starters and a selection of the charcoal grill mains) and we were really well looked after. Good value....

We went for dinner on Saturday night, the starters were bland you need to have some sweet chilli dip or garlic mayo or Yoghurt with the halomui and if it states with salad don't just put Lettuce on the plate. I had lamb fillet it said it came with salad and vegetables but I didn't get any vegetables and no bread and no sauces or dips... So everything is very dry and no flavour. Definitely overpriced for what you get. But staff were lovely. Very dark needs better lighting.

The food was nice, the service was fair but the cost for what you got was very high. First time having Turkish and while I felt the food was well cooked i really just didn’t feel there was value for money in the portion sizes and presentation.

The Aubergine restaurant is a the place we always wanted to explore for authentic Turkish cuisine. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and their food, meat quality and service did live up to our expectations. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming again.

We happened to meet the new manager Yusuf when walking past the restaurant. We knew him when he ran a different restaurant in Birmingham. We decided to do date night in the Aubergine and WOW! Yusuf is his usual self buzzing around ensuring that old customers and new get the same amazing service. Ayse (sorry I don’t have a Turkish keyboard to write the name correctly) is SO friendly and helpful also. Then there is chef Evren. The food is the star. We had the chicken kebab and the Aubergine Special. Both were sublime. The kebab’s are so moist and delicious and the delicate flavours of the special are incredible. I can’t recommend you come here and try it enough. Just a wonderful night.

Absolutely outstanding!! Myself and my husband have been coming to Aubergine for our wedding anniversary meal every year for eons. We were a bit unsure this year after learning that the restaurant had changed hands but our worries were totally dispelled as soon as we walked in. Staff were very attentive and friendly, food (Sultans Feast) was absolutely stunning and cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend highly enough. Many thanks to all the staff for making us feel welcomed and relaxed xx

Right, I was hoping to have a good time here specifically after reading the reviews about this place. What a pity.. lamb chops grilled on charcoal they say on the menu.. they were actually boiled in water and touched by microwaving - £25 per portion...

Excellent food and very good customer service. Our team loved the place. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Main course was fantastic - between my wife and son we had lamb and chicken shish and sea bass. The house (red) wine was really tasty and complimented the food. At the end we got a free dessert (Trilice) which looked like a standard cheesecake but tasted of coconut and was out of this world. Service 5 star - both the waitress and chef went out of there way to make the meal memorable :)

This was the best Turkish food I have had in a really long time. Definitely worth a visit, the owners are really lovely too!
