The room was pretty clean and well kept, we had a few issues but they were sorted out quickly, staff went above and beyond. I think they've changed a lot since the previous reviews, give it a try.

One of the worst places I’ve ever been in. We arrived to check in, was let in by another guest as no one was at reception. The entrance was filthy and smelt vile. We reluctantly rang the bell on reception and no one came to greet us until 15 mins after, but we waiting as there were a few others waiting. The guy didn’t speak to anyone, he had a mop in his hand so clearly had been attempting to clean the rooms. Even though we had booked in and could of lost of money, we walked out. It felt unsafe, disgusting and I’d rather sleep in the car! The place needs investigating its that’s vile 🤢

A lot of theses reviews seem to be ignoring the price, and exaggerating it's inadequacies. FOR THE PRICE: Great room, a little rough round the edges paint and decor wise but, clean bed, warm, key card entry and an ensuite. We were given a code for the front door, however, there is 24 hour reception. Towels available on request at reception, and when the lad at reception realised I wanted a shower he informed me that the boiler was broken for my room, and insisted that I use the shower in one of the vacant rooms. My two friends and I felt very safe and cared for. Location is 6.3 miles from Manchester Piccadilly, however, the £20, 25min Uber back and fourth still makes this a very cheap option compared to anything in the city center.

I needed to book this hotel as my car broke down in the middle of a long journey and was stranded with no other options. I had been calling the receptionist constantly to check there were still rooms available to which I was told there was one room left and he wasn’t able to reserve the room for me due to their system being down. I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 (the reception had a distinct smell of drains and waste and there were flies flying about, it just generally looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years) and was still able to check in which I was very grateful for - but I wouldn’t have been if I knew what the room was like. It was a minuscule room with only a bed and a desk in it with 2 (I know - strange right) TVs on it. There was also a kettle which I didn’t even bother looking at as it was half full of water - god knows how long it had been there for. The actual sheets on the bed looked clean enough but I was still very apprehensive about sleeping in it. The actual bed frame appeared to have cigarette burns and other questionable stains on it and the sides and floor in the room were absolutely filthy and looked like they’d never even seen a cleaner. I went to use the bathroom - which was shared - and wasn’t surprised to find it absolutely filthy too, with what looked like cigarette ash in the sink, stains in the toilet bowl and an incredibly mouldy shower. Halfway through the night I heard someone turning my door handle and I thought someone had just got the wrong room but I heard them use the keycard and the door opened - even though I had locked it from the inside. I then went down to reception and found out that my room had been double booked. It was lucky that I was still awake as if I hadn’t have been, anyone could have walked in and done god knows what. After this, I pushed the desk and my bag up against the door to try and prevent this happening again, I felt incredibly unsafe but managed to fall asleep in the end due to how exhausted I was from all the hassle I had been going through already that day. An hour or so after I had the two men open the door to my room I was woken by an alarm which only appeared to be going off in my room as when I started to evacuate, I couldn’t hear the alarm anywhere else. The alarm went off after a few minutes so I decided just to go back into my room. I woke up in the morning with a terrible chest so I’m not sure if there was some mould in the room that I had been breathing in during the night but the room didn’t smell pleasant anyway so I wouldn’t be surprised. I woke up early in the morning and got out of there as quick as I could. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL EVEN IF IT IS YOUR LAST RESORT, you’d be better off sleeping on the street.

A Nightmare Stay I wish I could give a-minus-two-star. I regret ever booking this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was appalling. Entrance and Reception: The entrance was nearly impossible to access. Two suspicious-looking individuals loitered by the door and instructed me to dial "1212" to get in. The reception reeked of filth, likely due to the receptionist wearing visibly dirty, layered clothing, looking homeless. If the receptionist appears this unkempt, I couldn’t imagine the state of the rooms. Check-In Process: The check-in took over 30 minutes, with an unhelpful and inconsiderate older receptionist who seemed indifferent to guests’ needs. There was no warmth or professionalism—just pure frustration. Parking Issues: Access to the car park was a nightmare. Each time you needed to drive in or out, you had to call and wait, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Room Horrors: I booked two rooms for a family of 5. First of all, I was given swipe to a room that hasn't been cleaned. I still wish I could unsee what I saw on that day. First Room: It smelled like a gutter. The rug reeked of vomit, and we had to wedge the door open with a chair to air it out. Second Room: This room was filthy, and the bed’s headrest was ripped off, creating a sinister and unsettling atmosphere. The room was unfit for use, with a heater leaking water onto the floor. To make matters worse, I was handed a mop to clean it myself. Windows: The single-glazed windows didn’t fit properly in their frames, allowing cold drafts to pour into the room, making it impossible to stay warm. Environment: The entire hotel felt unsafe, with drugged-looking individuals loitering inside and outside. It was genuinely terrifying, as I constantly felt at risk of being attacked. Conclusion: This hotel is a disaster. The filthy conditions, lack of safety, wires coming out of the electric shower and incompetent staff made it impossible to stay the night. If you value your comfort and safety, avoid this place at all costs unless you're looking for a real-life Halloween experience. Rating: 0/5

I will give it less than a zero star!!! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The environment is horrible and with a horrible reception. The room was more than horrible - dirty floor, peeling off walls, moulds on the walls and ceiling, no locks on windows, so many others. The place need to be shut than.

I have only reviewed this as one star as I can't review it with nothing. It is worse than Fawlty Towers. The staff are rude. The furniture in my room was unfit for use, the bed headboard and toilet seat both wobbled. The TV table was broken, the wallpaper peeling and electrical cable ducts were unattached to the wall. The car park was less tidy than the local tip. I agree with the comment that pitching a tent on the adjacent roundabout would be a superior location. Do not visit this hotel.

we are 2 women under 25 that stayed in here 1 night for a concert that ended up cancelled, when leaving our room around 7:50pm there was a man outside clearly drunk and eager to talk to us, they asked us where we were going and were pushy about “escorting us” to our location despite being told no, our instincts told us to run out while one guy insisted he’d get his shoes on, we quickly ran to the carpark across the road and hid behind a car as we watched them also run out of the hotel to see which direction we’d ran in, after we went into a public space for some drinks we came back to our room around 1am to find the same man hosting what can be described as a “house party” in his room, we darted for our room to which we were then questioned how our night was through a frantically locked door, we simply replied “good” and “goodnight” and rushed to push our bed against the door in fear of them somehow getting in, whilst hearing them state “they’re both beautiful”, under the bed which we moved we saw a condom and old perfume discarded beneath the bed (picture attached), we then started to settle but that didn’t last long as the drunken men knocked on our door and mimicked “room service” voices, we stayed silent. we had no way to reach the service desk in this scenario the phone rang out and the route to seek help was obstructed by the individuals responsible for torment, as someone left the hotel from the “house party” he remarked “there’s a condom for those” on his way out, when we woke up in the morning and got ready to leave we opened the door and there were condoms and banners strewn over the floor and brand new scrunchies wrapped around our handle that we didn’t purchase (see attached). on our way out we let the staff member know to which he said we should’ve come down to tell him, clearly unaware of how unsafe we must have felt, no refund was offered. we urge people (particularly women) to avoid this location

This isn't vicky's review its her fella, firstly some dirty sod had pee'd in the kettle. But on a level it's a "get what it says on the tin" place. Despite people knocking John on reception he is a really good bloke when you get to know him and there is no filthy bed in my room,TV didn't work and wasn't replaced for a four day stay but the council had paid for us to have a roof over our head and it's sure got a roof. Anyway my opinion is I like the place, yeah there is better about but it's cheap and as I say once staff know you they are decent folk. I'm happy here tbh...there is far worse in Blackpool for instance.

I stayed at one of the lowest rated hotels in the UK and left a positive review. the only rule… I cant lie. currently rated 1.7 out of 5, this place has more one star reviews than all the other stars combined. when checking into the hotel the man at reception was very nice and directed me to my room, that’s a star ⭐️As I entered my room I thought WOW what a view of Tesco Extra! Anyway… I had to use a UV light for any stains on my bed which I couldn’t find, That’s a Star ⭐️ I turn the TV on and (The Screen was smashed) I realised the hotel is helping me reduce my screen time so I can have a better sleep, That’s a star ⭐️ my plug in radiator had stabilizers so I decided to take it for a walk 🚶 which provided me with entertainment for the night 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well... I'm not giving a zero star because I can't. There was no one at the reception and we had to use a bell and wait over 5 minutes for someone to open the door. The entrance of the hotel looked like a scene out of a zombie apocalypse movie. Dirty, smelly, and stuff all over the place. The room that was provided to us looked like the perfect place to hide a dead body. The gentleman at the reception was too busy multitasking at the laundryroom and that is the reason why it took so long for him to come open the door. He also wasn't the nicest. Also the photos of the hotel do not match the reality of this horror scene. If you're into this kinda freaky stuff feel free to stay, but if you're a normal functioning human being, do not waste your time and money. I have nothing else to add to this review, I hope y'all get canceled. Goodbye and good ridance!

This hotel needs to be closed down. That’s all I’m going to say. It was the worst place ever. I however did not stay there I left. All furniture was broken, hygiene is shocking and there was ants everywhere, the room was very cold and they did nothing to fix this. How a place like this is still operating is shocking. It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. DO NOT BOOK.

Just full of rubbish. The workers were NOT wearing any hair nets and when I got my food I saw hair on it. Plus I think the food was mouldy because I saw black spots on the burger. There was sauce squirted on the floor and there was flies flying around. Also when they asked me if I wanted to donated to charity they looked at me with a side eye because I said no

Every other time has been fantastic but my latest visit left me not happy as I couldn’t have the drink I wanted and have actually had many times before! I ordered a drink with oat milk and when asked if I wanted cream on top I replied “just a little bit but not too much” as it’s a dairy intolerance not allergy but was completely shut down and told by another worker that she’s not gonna put it on. I understand rules and everything as I work in a cafe myself but the consumer knows more on how they’ll react. What’s funny is the drink I ordered had chocolate in.. also dairy but no not allowed a little bit of cream on top.
