This is always a go to place whenever I come down and join my partner who has a weekend dance school in Forest of Dean. This morning we were able to enjoy brunch together. Bearing in mind the quality of food we enjoyed at a wedding reception at Speech House yesterday the biggest compliment I can pay The Art of Coffee is that their food wouldn't have been out of place there. My vegan burrito with avocado and scrambled chicken pea was phenomenal. As was the Chocolate & Cherry brownie. Beautiful ambience here. Friendly staff.

Most staff lovely, helpful and good coffee I am a loyal customer but disappointed recently in complacency towards food intolerance information It's something you can't get wrong Clear information on ingredients would be the way forward

Hash brown sandwiches are good. Decor was good fun. Quite busy but lively which was nice to be around. Just a pleasant brunch all round.

Stopped off in Coleford for lunch on our way to a holiday in Symonds Yat and stumbled upon this little dog-friendly cafe. Food and service were both brilliant. We had toasted sandwiches, which were delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a bite to eat here.

Where do I start. Coleford is a small(ish) town still has at least 4 places to grab a coffee. So, why do I keep going back to the Art of Coffee? Ambiance, this place is phenomenal as are the people who work there. Take a bow Scott and co you are the real deal. I am one of your committed supporters because you deserve it. Enough saud

The package tour I was on stopped in Coleford for a lunch break, and by chance - and great luck - I stumbled on the Art of Coffee. Lovely place, extremely friendly service, good range of coffees and teas, and delicious food. I had their take on scrambled egg on (brown) toast with cheddar and chives, washed down with Earl Grey tea and it was truly delicious. Slight moan that it took rather long in coming, but the place was very busy at the time. The unisex toilet is worth a visit in itself. Altogether very highly recommended.

What a great find. Needed a dog friendly lunch stop after a family trip to Go Ape in nearby beechenhurst. Most of our group went for chilli loaded fries which were amazing. Great coffee too. The staff were so helpful and friendly. As must visit if in the area.

Had a family and friends get together for my 60th Birthday in the lounge (Sat 21st Jan) and have to say the Venue, Staff and food and drinks were 10/10! The staff looked after us superbly, the pianist played the background lounge music spot on and the ambiance was bang on Would 100% recommend and will be back very soon to enjoy some of the events planned at the Lounge..

Recently visited here, as it looked the best place to go in Coleford for a coffee. I really loved the quirkiness of the place, really lovely decor and tastefully arranged. It was busy and had to wait a while, but we enjoyed the beef chilli over fries and the Greek tomato and feta veggie option over fries. Staff were friendly too. The only tip I would give is please make the coffee stronger - it's always a little disappointing that coffee houses in the UK don't make the coffee a tad stronger as usually people go out for coffee specifically because the like a strong tasting brew! Apart from that though, we would visit again if in the area as it had a great vibe and it's a really cool place :-)

We stopped in Coleford to find breakfast on our way to Snowdonia. We happened across The Art Of Coffee. The misses had avocado on toast and I opted for the scrambled egg with cheese and chives. You might think it’s hard to get excited about scrambled eggs, but it was outstanding, as was the avocado on toast, according to the misses. To top it off the coffee was excellent and the service was very pleasant. If we ever pass through that way again we’ll make a bee line for ‘The Art Of Coffee’.
