The Angel Inn in Mansfield

Just want to say a huge thank you to the staff and friendly locals that where in tonight (6/11/24) we had a bit of a dilemma involving our dog taking a turn for the worse as we was driving past, I pulled over just outside where I was greeted by a chap who could probably read my panic and he couldn’t do enough for us, took me inside where we was supplied with everything we needed to clean the car and gave our dog a fresh drink! We will definitely be back soon but for a proper drink for us this time and hopefully no sicky dog! Massive thank you too you all, absolute life savers 🍻🐶

No food but decent priced drinks

Decent local, but the toilets could do with a refurb.

So, so kind of place, they seem to have different prices for certain days,sure I'm right.

Working here as a security has been a great experience, the community's cheerfulness is very welcoming and the staffs in general is very hospitable and attentive.

Popped in here first time for us ,needed to kill an hour before our grandaughter came home ,she has just recently moved to this area , Lovely greeting by the lady behind the bar ,not sure if she was the landlady ,nice friendly pub ,was nice to sit somewhere warm with friendly locals ,who were equally as pleasant ,nice drink as well ,of corrs light , Will definitely call again x

Very much your traditional locals local, currently at this time under the Craft Union Flag, so beer prices aren't too bad. Good for a couple of drinks before or after shopping in Morrisons next door, recommended!

The young lady never stopped working behind the bar ,with her smiley face and well maners it makes a change to go somewhere with good staff.

Unfortunately very unfriendly bar accusing me and my friend of doing d*ugs at the pub no reason for it. The young one came in the toilet 5 times to tell me and my friend we are doing co**ine when we're just taking a p*ss. Ridiculous 😡😡

Went in for the first time in nearly 15 years.. and walked back out. Nothings changed its still a rough pub.

Nipped into The Angel last night on way home, haven't been in for years. Won't be going in again what horrible place it is, not friendly and rude staff, obviously just like locals that go in day after day.On way out 2 people stood in doorway having a fag ( normal size doorway ) and didn't even bother to move to let you out, said excuse me so we could get and just carried on smoking, what a hole

Having just moved to the area decided to pop in for drinks and must say was pleasantly surprised.Nice clean well furbished pub,pleasant barman,good choice in drinks at good prices,well located on high street. Will defo return!
