Food seems to be not quite as nice as it used to be but it is still nice and I would visit again. The atmosphere here is warm and friendly and is only a small restaurant which adds to the lovely atmosphere. I do recommend you visit this place.

Fantastic all you can eat! The food is AMAZING!! Well worth the money. The only thing it is lacking on the atmosphere side of things is a bit of music. We LOVE it here, highly recommend!

Me and my partner love getting food from here. In terms of Chinese Takeaway in Mansfield, they are definitely the best we've had so far (mainly cause the others have all given us food poisoning and this one hasnt). Can recommend getting it as Takeaway as it's speedy and good value for money but can't recommend going there in person. The buffet system is a bit odd and the atmosphere was very awkward as we were the only ones there and the server was new and didnt know some of the things they do/the menu (no worries though, we all start somewhere)

Food was absolutely beautiful and the staff were really friendly and fun. Will deffo go back if in the area again.

Nice venue, nice waiter, no parking. Food was disappointing seaweed wasn’t sweet like normally, satay chicken skewers didn’t taste very peanut buttery like experienced also ordered a beef satay and that didn’t taste anything like. Buffet menu was a let down, no lemon chicken, no option of duck when considering paying £20ph. Now I know why the venue was dead on a Sunday evening.

An incredible experience, all the food was lovely, the staff were amazing (especially the young girl who was working on the night, she was my favourite) but all staff were warm and welcoming. There is a note stipulating that any food waste may be subject to a charge, but because we were all greedy this didn''t apply to us. A great, great restaurant.

Awful meal, either overcooked or hardly cooked at all. Very rushed and couldn't wait to get us out the door. Won't return

6 of us went for a meal last night, service not as good as usual. Asked for extra smoked chicken for the starter and didn't get any. Since I only eat that I was watching everyone else eat until we managed to get a waitresses attention. By the time we even managed that every one had finished. Food spot on though when it came.

Eat inside the resturant a few times and the food has always been great but we had a takeaway 2 days ago and the food was terrible. It al tasted like it was re heated. It makes me think they dont care about the customers having takeaways and give them the left overs. We ended up putting it in the bin which i was fuming about especially with the amount of money spent. Will definately spend my money else where... pick your standards up

This is a truly hidden gem. Amazing staff truly awesome food freshly prepared as you order, great quality products, friendly staff, great service, wonderful atmosphere and a truly great value for money. I loved the great choice of dishes, portion sizes allow you to order multiple dishes without feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great Chinese meal. I can't wait to return soon.

I ordered a meal for delivery but when it arrived the noodles were burnt so bad they were brown and tasted discusting won't be ordering again from here wouldn't recommend at all

Used to love this place. But wow. Totally different this time. Duck was literally all bone, I was having more skin than meat. and the special fried rice everything init was chewy I was flossing for 20 minutes after. Never again

When I last ordered from here I had spring rolls and they were amazing but I've just ordered some and when I got home to eat them they were burnt, so I took them back. Got some new ones. Went home. Taste disgusting and are cold inside. VERY disappointed and honestly I think they have just been microwaved 🤢🤢🤢

Food is always amazing. Staff are very friendly. The starter platter is so good, and the satay chicken skewers are amazing. My favourite Chinese for all you can eat. And reasonably priced too.

Order here for the first time tonight as I know people that have spoke very highly of the food! First off all, everything that I ordered I would usually get almost £10 cheaper at the Chinese I usually go to. Delivery was within a reasonable time, the beef chow mien was freezing, super noodles and stone cold. The BBQ spare ribs had hardly any meat and zero flavour, hardly any sauce in pot. The egg fried rice didn’t taste one bit like egg fried rice, very greasy. Prawn crackers were stale,

Just poor. Starters: crispy chicken was tough, dyed red for no reason because it didnt add any seasoning. Prawn toast, hardly any prawn paste. Chicken skewers, chicken again tough, satay sauce was awful, too thick, not seasoned well. Spring rolls and seaweed was ok. Chicken and sweetcorn soup; was a nuclear yellow/orange but again no taste… Hot and sour soup; smelt really off, little bit like sewage water, heavy on the vinegar, super heavy on the chilli oil, doesnt actually taste like anything other than a spicy gloop. Sweet and sour dip was grim…cant describe it, just grim. Pretty tall order for us to not even be able to describe why something is awful considering we’re foodies and both worked as chefs in the past. Mains: rice was watery. Not jasmine rice which should be a chinese food staple. Chow mein, ordered twice, they burnt it twice, actually smelt the burnt coming off it so thats my kids dish out the window. Ordered a variety of dishes to see if any was passable: Squid in ginger and spring onion, passable. Stir fried mix vegetables, zero seasoning but passable by using salt on the table. Tofu in black bean sauce, the tofu was the dehydrated version thats been soaked in water too long, very watery, very grim. Garlic mushrooms, never seen so much garlic on a dish to not taste like garlic at all… Singapore vermicelli was good, surprised considering rice noodles burn so much easier than normal noodles…. Again the egg in it looks like its been dyed bright yellow…maybe tumeric was added? But noodles were still relatively clear which is weird. Beef in black bean sauce…we would comment but the staff forgot to put order in. I guess they forgot whilst chatting loudly in a small restaurant about customers and about eating ice cream from the freezer after their shift ends. I ate most of everything considering the warning of being charged wastage…I regret it now. Luckily they missed my wife's main dish… £16 each for adults, kids under 4 were free. What a great mothers day treat aye.

Lovely food and always friendly service! Only thing i would improve on would be space. It feels a little cramped in here when its busy, but it doesnt affect food or service quality!

This is the perfect all you can eat restaurant. This is the only place for miles that provides all you can eat. We always arrive around 7pm because then were starving after a day of only eating breakfast. Great atmosphere

Most bland tasting curry I've ever had. Tried this place as it's local, but never again.

Food wasn't up to scratch I. E not enuff on menu certainly not a larger menu than my local Chinese takeaway and also my 70 year old mother was cold as their was no heating on and even the tap water was cold no running hot water in the toilets and the worst thing out of all is the fact your not aloud in with your guide dog. They should be ashamed.

Is expensive and bad quality, one of the sauce came less than half, looks like they put in my order a leftover sauce from someone else, they use a cheaper products to make the food and the price are high, I don't recommend this restaurant

Very disappointed, I have been there on many occasions in groups. I went in alone this evening and was told I could not have the buffet, as it was not for 1 person. I checked the menu and nowhere did it mention that there was a minimum number of people required.

Went for the buffet on the 18 October and was pleasantly surprised the food was excellent and the service was excellent.will be returning very soon. Nothing was to much for the staff,they really worked hard to please.

Only had starters as was waiting 45 minutes for the next coarse. The food was that salty I have been up all night drinking . We had to let the table next to us go before us as they had sat there without a drink for 45 minutes and felt bad

Just had the worst Chinese ever from this place after visiting so many times! Firstly,the “special” omelette was as bland as anything,no seasoning whatsoever! We was also served a chicken omelette and not a special,as there was no prawns or Chinese pork in it,but got charged for special still! Secondly the chicken skewers were dry,but thankfully we could use the satay sauce to flavor our “special”omelette! Back to China red it is then!

Enjoyed the food 7 of us went I had chicken curry as main was not great but all the other meals were good. I will go again

Wow £62 only to be chastised by the owner for ordering lots of starters😳now I know for a fact that that meal didnt cost that much to make..also told that if we didnt eat all of it we would be charged!!! Practially shoveling food down my kids throats so they werent shouted at by the owner..This isnt a buffet, this is a pay as you eat individual dishes...will not be returning and will also be posting my experience on my tiktok page 70k people..

Top notch service and fantastic food

Loyal customer of over 15 years. Had the worst meal I've ever had tonight. Called and politely complained to be told they always cook their food like that! And to be refunded they wanted me.to box up a dished out meal and return to the restaurant. Disgusting meal and customer service!

Ordered a Chinese at 19.00 arrived at 20.35. Artificial Bright yellow egg fried rice terrible quality. Forgot items off the order. Offered us a credit note that can only be redeemed if we order again which ...there's no incentive to order again. Wouldn't recommend get a nandos instead same price better quality!

That has to have been the worst Chinese food I have ever recieved. Placed an order for Spring rolls followed by Singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken balls, simple right? The first delivery arrived minus the starter when I called back I was told I could have a credit note for the next order (if they screwed up the first time, why would I order again). The second attempt arrived but was cold and the batter on the chicken balls had clearly been reheated, it was soft and greasy. There was a massive amount of cheap noodles and a few bits of chicken strips with onion and ONE carefully placed pea pod in a watery flavourless sauce. Very poor, dont order from here, it used to be great..

Love this place. We went for all u can eat buffet to finish off the 50% offer during July. Always good food. Staff very helpful and attentive. Thanks Daniel and the girl for being our waiters. I was so full I rolled out the door 😁. Had a problem with confirming table booking but all worked out ok. Vivid measures were great. I like the screens between tables. I enjoyed the privacy. I would like the screens to stay after covid. Many thanks for a lovely meal. See u again soon x

Totally disgusting food ... me n my family have been violently ill since eating here. No BABY CHANGING was offered towels to change baby on flooor !! Resorted to a dirty toilet and changed lil one on my knee ! ... beers were flat.. worst chinses ever .. staff are rude and not welcoming... grumpy !! One waitress was in such a rush she knocked a jug of water over my phone ! ... seriously shocking AVOID 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫

WARNING WARNING WARNING do not try enjoying the Buffet if you intend going on your own as they will refuse you that choice and tell you YOU HAVE TO choose only dishes on the main menu. When asked why they claim its to stop food not being eaten...so how does that work if you go with someone else and BOTH of you fail to eat the food ????? this needs sharing as it is without doubt discrimination against individual dinners based on an assumption. Most buffet style restaurants have a simple and effective rule that if you waste food they will either refuse to bring additional dishes or they charge a surcharge. I contacted them to ask why I was refused the buffet and their attitude was defensive and none sensible as they clearly had no grounds for refusal . Do not support this place with your custom look at their 3.8 star rating and find somewhere which welcomes business.

Amazing food, small cozy place with all you can eat at a great price! Came as a group and the service was spot on.

Food is always great, service however is almost too attentive. Many times we've been this has been our only issue, staff come over too often. We still have food on our plate and they are asking what we want next. This wouldn't be too bad if we weren't asked by 3 different members of staff. This being said we will still return as we love the food.

Food was not piping hot like from other chinese take aways. Lemon chicken- chicken dry. Lemon sauce was like jelly not like sauce at all. Prawn toast soggy. Pancake rolls not good at all. Spare ribs was dry and sauce very strong vinegar taste. No sweetness but very sour the sweet and sour sauce. The rice was ok but properly cooked and prawns was ok. Tge chilli shredded beef was ok but not warm neither hot. I only live a 3 minute drive away. 5 minutes at the most. Wasted 27 pound a bit expensive but wont go ordering from there again. Shangri la yr standards have dropped. A year ago i rated it 4 star and im being generous giving shangri la 2 stars. Bitterly disappointed

Very disappointing told that if your not eating to not come again so we was charged £5 for one piece of prawn toast as my partner was not well and just wanted to sit with our group been a few times and food is slipping only good thing to the night really was the waiter dropping the chips on our table that made us laugh, manager is very aggressive with his attitude!
