The Ambassador in Dundee City

Had my Wedding Reception here, hall was beautifully decorated unfortunately was let down by quite a few things. Let down by DJ I had booked for months at the last minute, there was not enough buffet to feed my guests, lost 3 hours of LED dance floor as said I hadn't paid for it. Had to open my own buffet, ask DJ to announce my first dance, ask DJ to announce cutting of cake which was in a corner so no-one could see us. DJ was right behind top table so speaker was right in our ear, my elderly mother in law had to move. Definitely not worth the money I paid. Hall is perfect for large functions just not very well executed.

I have ordered food from here before to be fair nothing special but quick and easy . I decided as in area collect my order .the sight that greeted me made mecwant to vomit .the staff are unclean informed same clothes day after day and their nails are filthy .the pub and bar area is just unclean i wouldnt feed my dog food from there ..needless to say i was out of there pronto . Place is just FILTHY

Had a family party here last night in the upstairs function suite it was absolutely brilliant. Staff were absolutely amazing all completely friendly and so helpful and accommadting both Sammy and Jane that were serving behind the bar were just lovely. and from the moment I phoned to enquire and i spoke to Lee she was just brilliant couldn't ask for better staffor service. The Venue it's self was lovely inside beautfuly decorated and so well laid out loads of room . Everyone had an amazing I night so much so I'm going away to book it again for another event

Se olvidó de sacar algo del congelador para el té y vi excelentes críticas en la página para llevar de Dundee, así que decidí ordenar. Pastel de carne, patatas y verduras para mí, pescado, patatas fritas y guisantes para el pequeño. comida fabulosa, mucho para comer, entrega rápida y volveremos.

Mi hijo reservó al embajador para una fiesta de cumpleaños número 18. Le cobraron 120 por la noche, que debía incluir un DJ para la música. Tuvo alrededor de 40 a 50 invitados que asistieron. La fiesta comenzó a las 6. 30 pm. El 'DJ' presionó un botón en una computadora de vez en cuando, sin interacción con ninguno de los asistentes a la fiesta. El personal del bar parecía como si no quisieran estar allí. Bien, era un lunes por la noche, pero pensarías que estarían contentos con el negocio en lo que habría sido una noche tranquila. No estaba demasiado impresionado. Quizás el servicio es mejor si es un fin de semana.

This is a fine pub to drop into for a few pints pre football. Good prices, sport on telly or music to amuse and very handy for a quick walk to the match. Good bar.

Staff member who were working very nice however did not have enough glasses people were being served spirits and a mixer in large coke glasses or pint glasses, they didn't have the spirit we asked for and had to go down to the Bar for it which wasn't a problem but rather than come back with a bottle the staff member came back with a half pint glass of the spirit, have to say I wouldn't rush back

Handy for a trip to the escape rooms round the corner Basic and staff friendly and I imagine good for locals and functions Was helpful for meeting up before the escape rooms but wouldn't plan a return visit

We had my sons 50th Birthday party in the upstairs Function Suite here and would definitely recommend this place. It is really nice decorated and can hold up to 200 people. The Staff were great especially Laura on the night and a big thanks to Kate (who runs it). We are back again at another Function in July and look forward to it.

I went with my friend for a meal on the 2nd March I had steak and my friend had steak pie both meals were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, will go again. My steak was cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere.
