After moving to this area, we have been trying local takeaways and have been left disappointed with the Indian options we have tried so far. We tried Agra on Friday night and at last we have found what we have been looking for. Easy online ordering and able to pay online too. The food was excellent, really flavoursome and they had a few dishes we had not tried before, so we will work our way through them, it was also delivered hot and in a reasonable time. Next time we hope to try the restaurant

Called for a last minute booking for 9 people, managed to get us in and did not disappoint. Staff always friendly, great food served with a bit of banter on the side.

It's OK, But when I was there I was waiting for a while for the food, But I Do not think I will be going again, it was the first and only time, Didn't really enjoy the food, I thought I would try the Indian food, but its not for me, I will stick to the English traditional food.

Very busy and noisy but that is not their fault, felt a little hurried and the buffet lacked vege options, plus the waitress snapped angrily at me when I asked about drinks just snapped sharply "I don't know what flavours, what do you want! And we'll see if we have it, " but it was busy, so I understand. But other than that, service was good. The food was nice, topped up regularly, and very fresh tasting, food queue not too long. Thought I’d take our family out for a Indian meal but what a disappointment. Last time I dined here was 20 years ago and sadly nothing has changed. What you get for £100 2 x beers £6.10 each, 1 x lemonade £4 each, 1 x sparking water, 1 x tap water. Starter 2 x chicken tikka, dry as bones 2 x samosa, straight from wholesalers, totally naff £4 Ordered 5 x popadoms with pickles which were nice Mains 2 x chicken jalfrazie, tight portion size and just tasted of hot sauce 2 x butter chicken, tight portion size and tastes far better from Iceland 1 x chicken nuggets and chips 1 x garlic and 1x plain naan, nice but expensive £4 each 1 x pilau rice, tasted same as 39p microwave from Lidl 1 x white rice So if you like a good Indian I would make sure you give these guys a miss

A fantastic local restaurant. Had a takeaway last night and was blown away by quality and taste of all that we ordered. The meat in the Tikka Korma was tender with a rich and creamy sauce. The Jalfrezi had the kick you'd expect but with a rich and flavoursome sauce and generous quantity of meat. Peshwari Naan bread fresh and full of flavour. Owners / staff are friendly and welcoming. Nice one folks, a perfect meal. Fully recommended a visit.

Brilliant family owned Indian resturant and takeaway.. all dishes beautifully cooked we opted for a takeaway but the restaurant was nicely busy and has lots of Asian atmosphere.. The menu has something for everyone from mild to spicey and there is plenty of carparking space on site ..highly recommend 😋👍

Had a very good Chicken Biryani and a great Sheek Kabab starter, onion Bahjee wasn't great but rest of meal was excellent. We were a party of 18 and they coped superbly. Nice modern environment. Well worth a visit.

We, family of 5, visited the Agra for the buffet evening. Food was lovely, there were plenty of choices in mains and deserts, and the kitchen was clearly working hard to keep the buffet filled. Front of house staff were friendly and welcoming but clearly very busy, it took a while to get all our drinks after getting the attention of a waiter. My biggest warning (and my mistake for not checking) is double check your bill; it appears when taking the deposit into account I've been charged over £60 for 5 drinks and one of those was tap water!

This is a great Indian! We discovered it on a journey as we were hungry and it was nearby. Excellent move! The food is delicious and their Peshawari naan are gorgeous, fluffy clouds of coconutty loveliness with a light crunch. The people of Sleaford are a lucky bunch having this restaurant on their doorstep with such friendly service. And, for extra points, their after dinner chocolates are After Eights! Yum!

Ordered a takeaway. Wasn’t awful food but was very bland. Tikka masala sauce was very watery and the chicken was a little tough (mostly likely frozen). But not all doom and gloom… the poppadoms were great 😂

This was our first time visiting The Agra and we were really impressed. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly and the food delicious. We had an Onion Raitha for starters which was delicious, one of the best we have ever had. We also had Papadom and pickles which were lovely. For our main course we had a skinny Chicken Korma which was also very nice. The food came quickly and was nice and hot. Thank you to Abdul who looked after us and the rest of the team at the restaurant. Definitely going to visit again.

What an absolutely amazing dining experience. This was our first time visiting The Agra but it won't be our last. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious, special mention for the Onion Raitha, really enjoyed it. The skinny Chicken Korma was perfection. The service was fast, the food hot. Seated out of the main eating area next to the bar where they collect the takeaway. Even though there was seating available 6.30 early booking in advance. Food was good quality just lacking the service drinks over priced lime and soda water £4. Paid the bill no goodbyes as we left. Won’t be back

Ordered our usual ( not had it for a year ), very disappointed. Takeaway order. Arrived cold, the chips were soggy and cold, not even the airfryer could help them !!! My chicken chatt was cold , and the portion size was half the amount, yet the price has increased. The chicken dansak was also cold and the chicken was tough. The only positive was the rice, but sadly even that was cold. 1 starter, 1 main 2 sides £20!!! Very disappointing 😞

I went to this restaurant this evening. Very good place, I liked it, it’s a pity I didn’t have time and I didn’t try their cuisine, but I think it’s delicious, so I’ll give them 5 stars in advance 👍 I was in the guest room and in the kitchen. The order and cleanliness everywhere is perfect. Few people can boast of such cleaning. The owner of the restaurant is a very nice and cheerful person, when I was leaving he gave two bottles of fruit cider to my wife who was driving our car 😁🍻 We will definitely come here not for business, but for the restaurant.

I travel all over the UK on business, my preference is always to drop into a Indian restaurant, called in here tonight with the family, they seated us despite being very busy and quickly served us drinks and starters. We didn't have to wait long for the mains to be ready despite the large party ahead of us. I can hand on heart say its one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. I've not seen the garlic and chilli chutney anywhere else previously and it's fantastic. The Saag Paneer is the best one I have eaten. All of our food was beautifully cooked. We have booked into the buffet next weekend to try other dishes, cant wait to return.

We got a takeaway, it was ready really quickly and we collected from them, they unfortunately missed one of the mains, I called and wow what fantastic customer service! They offered to deliver the missing dish, they were here really quickly and had added a rice, popadoms and a beer to the bag! My partner was over the moon and I have to say that curry was one of the nicest I’ve ever tried! They certainly made up for the very small issue we had and then some! 5* review from us, delicious food, a great bunch of people and fantastic customer service. Well worth the drive now we have moved away from Sleaford. I won’t go anywhere else, thank you and see you next time!

Went along to a taster buffet and found myself impressed with the food and selection. I got to try several new types of curry and food and was overall happy with the options. Service started a little weak but they brought it back. Would recommend to anyone to try the Taster buffet as it's a great way to try new food.

I had a delightful experience at Agra Indian restaurant on a Friday evening with my wife. The Chicken Dhansak was a flavorful delight, and the Chicken Lababdar was a rich and creamy indulgence. The Saag Aloo and Saag Paneer showcased the chef's expertise in balancing spices and textures. The attentive service and cosy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Agra is definitely a go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine in Sleaford.

I can highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The service is always excellent, and the food delicious, we try and visit at least once a week. As a vegan it is especially nice having items clearly labelled on the menu, and they often suggest alternative ideas and recipes for my partner who is more adventurous when it comes to vegetables than I am. We lived up in Halifax for many years and visited a great many restaurants, The Agra is easily an equal. In laws who come down to visit, who eat across Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield each week, highly rate the food they eat at the Agra as being amongst the best. Writing this review I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

We have been coming to this wonderful restaurant since 2017. Food, staff, service is excellent. If you are very lucky LK will do you an amazing off menu special. Cobra on draught and bottles, plus an extensive bar of wines and spirits. Highly recommended

The Tikka Masala was chunks of chicken in a tasteless RED food coloured sauce. Nothing else but chicken chunks which weren’t marinated. What a disappointing meal.

Love coming here. My fav Indian restaurant ever.. we are always looked after so well by the management and staff. They take so much pride in their food and it shows. Every single meal has its own unique taste and the many different varieties are superb. Chef always gives us a taster of something he’s cooked. Thanks guys… we will be back

We turned up at The Agra tonight without having booked. They were obviously busy and had a big function on too. We were told they could give us a table but it might be 10-15 minutes before anyone could attend to us. We agreed this would be fine and we were shown to a pleasant table. The staff were as attentive as always. The service was of its usual high standard. We did have to wait slightly longer for our food to arrive but it was all spot on and lovely and hot. Honestly I've had far worse experience at quiet restaurants that I've booked at. A superb visit. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hmm. Where to begin?Having spent roughly 16 hours cooking for my partner and family over the last few days I thought I'd take the evening off and order something for delivery. I was inclined towards Maya in Heckington but was convinced to go to the Agra despite my reservations. Here's the breakdown:After nearly an hour of waiting I called to enquire and was told "5 minutes."25 minutes later I called back only to have the individual who answered the call to quibble over the time that I placed the order - 17:08 instead of the 17:00 that I claimed - and to be told that the average delivery time is well over an hour. Fine. I should perhaps have read the fine print instead of assuming that ordering just after opening would ensure a speedy delivery. My bad.So let's get to the food.All of the meat in all of the dishes was overdone and dry. All of the dishes were either lukewarm or cold. The starter was bland and flavourless. The Peshwari naan was doughy, undercooked and distinctly lacking in "filling." The mushroom rice was so oily it was nauseating. The two mains were all fire and no flavour. The raita had gotten so warm in transit (giving the benefit of the doubt there because this former chef would never let it leave the kitchen in such a state) that it had curdled and split. The poppadoms were stale like last week's crisps and they even managed to get the selection of 'dips' wrong.And all of that for mere £42-and-a-bit.Never will I order from the Agra again.

Just got my indian takeaway...portions very small...no sauce with onion bhaji ....chicken chewy obvs. end of the year sweepings..curry sauce watery and tasteless...altogether complete let down...Merry Christmas.

A foul lady was complaining about everything purely for the sake of it tonight, but the staff were all wonderful, the food was great and perfectly portioned and despite them clearly being busy we didn’t have to wait too long at all. I live in lincoln but I would definitely come here again.

We visited Agra as part of a group of around 16. We were directed to our parking space when we arrived, and shown to the room we had been allocated for our buffet meal. The meal was ready on time, and was delicious! There was a very good selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes. All were piping hot, very tasty and one of the staff had even labelled the dishes with allergens. The left overs were carefully boxed a d we were all able to take some home with us. We had a really good evening and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us all so well Agra!

Really nice takeaway for eight people, great mix of starters, mains etc. Ready on time, helpful staff and quality food. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully try again if we are over this way again.

Came up to Lincoln from Birmingham to see family and we had a meal at Agra, really enjoyed the food and atmosphere was good, very welcoming and polite staff, would recommend eating here.

We visited tonight after many years away and wow! Impressive new decor. Otherwise all still same and by that I mean perfect. Great food great service great atmosphere. Now we are moving back to the area we will be regulars once again.
