The Admiral Inn in Reigate and Banstead

We were passing through Reigate and dropped in for a quick lunch. The pub is a sports bar, with big screens in the courtyard as well as inside - which is quite a gloomy space. Music was very loud when we arrived, although staff quickly and helpfully turned the music in the courtyard down when we requested (we were there at around midday, and were the only guests at this point). We both ordered eggs, chips and sausages. Chips and eggs were fine. However, we have eaten many a diner breakfast, and the sausages were the worst we've eaten, the inside grey pulp.

Stumbled across this place by accident, and it was a lovely surprise. Great for a few beers with friends.

We visiit from Canada about once a year (family members live in Reigate). Just love the pub atmosphere, friendliness of locals--shoutout to owner Ian and pizza maker Carl!

GENTS TOILETS ARE AWFUL ! The Toilets always stink, most unhygienic indeed, surely they can bring it up to a Modern day standard ? The other point I am making is I just can't believe the reserved seats on the left side as you come in for the owner and pals, the bar is far too small for that. I will say in its favor that the bar staff are generally friendly and amenable. ..... so I'm afraid 3 Stars overall, but 4 for service, 4 for atmosphere ...... haven't had food there and so can't comment. For Heavens sake Sort those Toilets out !!!

Cracking quiz on a Tuesday eve every fortnight with excellent pizza and a good deal on a meal and drink.

A lovely little suburban (?) pub surrounded by residential housing a short walk west of Reigate station. The barmaid was very cheery and welcoming and although the pub itself is quite small, it gives the impression of lots of space - probably due to the simple fact it is not over-furnished as you see so many places these days. There are a few tables around the 'other' side of the bar and a long table in front of the pizza oven. There is a good sized beer garden out the back for the upcoming summer sun with a number of tables having a roof so you can ignore those pesky summer showers. The Guinness was excellent as was the Timothy Taylor's Landlord.

Sorry, but just had to walk out spent £30 on 2 roasts .....frozen food served as a roast is not on, boil in bag beef , frozen chicken breast, frozen carrots and peas , packet carrot and swede mash, soggy Yorkshire pudding, I mean how hard is it to bang a roast together .... won't be heading back anytime soon , ps staff were great , roast not so great - 0 stars

Bar staff are very helpful and know their stuff about what they offer. Garden is nice with outdoor heaters and shelter. Big Televisions for the footie too

Never heard of this place before, just popped in to visit one of their staff I’ve known. ‘‘Twas beautiful place, staff and people around are so lovely. Very clean, beautiful place and served freshly baked pizza. Highly recommended and bar staff Tammy & Amy very switched on and have Moretti on tap! This is just within the residential area, if you live nearby I can tell it’s a perfect place to eat in and rest cooking in your own kitchen for awhile. I was impressed to saw customers bringing their empty glass and bottle back to the bar, as if they were in their own house, can be so helpful to the staff clearing the dirty glasses.

Popped in for a Moretti and a Pizza & was not dissapointed. I discovered this little gem as I used a shortcut when the level crossing barriers closed as I approached them. Bar staff Amy and Tammy were really good set up a tab and I will be definatley returning with my pals for some footy and beers

Been refurbished recently. The decor is alot better and they have a pizza oven. Good little venue to have a drink in.. Part of my yearly Reigate Pub Crawl.. @silver_chaz

Better since the refurb, nice staff, beer selection can be slightly better but otherwise a pretty decent pub.

The staff there are lovely and friendly. The new refurbished has good use of space and out side garden is big and have good size pickanick benches. There is pizza made fresh with a wood fire. I personally haven't tried the pizza yet. But the smell they give off as they are cooked is bound to make anyone hungry. I love coming here with my friends to enjoy and evening chatting it's a grate place to be.

A lovely, homely pub with a great atmosphere! The pizza barn is a wonderful addition and the pizza itself is amazing!! The Quiz and Open Mic nights are brilliant, with fab people and drinks!!

Few days ago I ordered a pizza from you and I really like it . I discover something is change in good . Now I will like to come in lunchtime to have o coffee and work on the laptop . This pub from my personal view become a mixt of a authentic English football pub and a cozy restaurant I feel this way from the first step in and is nothing better than to  be in a friendly, casual place where everyone feels welcome.

Nice little pub with a very pleasant landlord. At present bring refurbished and will soon provide food.

What a difference a couple of months hard work can make to what was a spit and sawdust hangout. The new manager has made this venue a light and airy welcoming bar that can be enjoyed by everyone. There are more plans in the pipeline by the looks of it with a pizza oven being installed out the back plus a comfortable eating area in what used to be a store room. Look forward to that. Overall this has become a very welcoming establishment to which I will be visiting on a regular basis from now on. Good luck to all involved this is what the surrounding community needed

Under new management the pub is now open again for local people weir have no trouble here. Everybody welcome
