The animals are splendid, the Zoo was filled with variety unknown until now.

Very friendly staff a great selection of lager and ales the kronenbourg 1664 is probably the best I've ever had!!!.very reasonable price's compared with the rest of the pubs in Canton. They have all the sports on their vast amount of TV's inside and a huge screen out their lovely beer garden. They do have a Dart Board too... all in all a decent pub 👍🏼

The staff were very good, it was ruined by a couple of the locals who kept asking us to move while we were watching the rugby, it ruined the atmosphere for us.

Been going to this pub for a long time 1 of the few pubs left that has good atmosphere friendly people and staff

Just stopped by for a quick pint. Lovely traditional pub. Always a good atmosphere, great beer garden. Selection of beers isn't the best but what they do have is well looked after.

We went here after the Wales beat Finland in the Euro qualifier. We were walking by and saw a good amount of fans celebrating so we stopped by for a pint. I got a Thatcher’s Haze Somerset Cider from they had on tap which was really good. It was a nice spot with a good atmosphere!

Pretty basic pub in the heart of Canton. The afternoon we called in for a drink. The pub was busy and noisy, which was a good sign. But the bar staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. I'm not used to hearing bar staff using such foul language, especially female staff, which is very unprofessional. The pub seems to be full of gamblers only interested in watching horse racing on all televisions. If this is your interest, then you may want to use the pub. My friends and I won't be visiting again.

There's a Wetherspoons up the road, a particularly interesting example......I went to The Admiral....

Best place to go before (and sometimes after) a Cardiff City game.

Nice atmosphere and good Saturday night Karaoke. Only downer was a dust up at the end of the night. Can't have everything.

Lot better with new landlady and bar staff very good atmosphere. Good range of 0% beers which I drink. Be nice if they had guinness 0% as that's a very tasty drink.

Tbh I'm biased because my daughter runs the pub with boyfriend 😁 just won best sports bar in pub chain around UK! If you're a Cardiff City fan this is place to go. Great surroundings and garden with TV so you don't miss any sport

The place has had a major revamp and looks amazing. It is a really nice pub now with a great atmosphere. The smoking area is amazing with lots of comfortable nooks and crannies to have a bit of privacy if you want. The only issue is that the staff the night we went were quite.. well I'll just say highly strung 😬

Great staff honest great music on weekends

It's okay..they doing a great job looks fab there and good prices been going here years and years .popular pub nice people. Only critiscm is how loud it is music out backnext to the houses ? It obviously attracts some of the wrong sorts because of this .big screens loud music but can see how it works. Shame can't find a way to do it make it work while considering neighbouring houses / locals

Great, polite welcoming staff... relaxing vibe and looked after well, felt appreciated for being there from arriving to leaving.... amazing service and definitely will be returning very often....... again, thank you to all the staff and the manager... amazing juke box selection and well maintained pool table too... cant wait for my next visit

Traditional pre-Wales pints must be had here. The brains Dark and SA is top notch here.

Good service but not impressed with plastic glasses after matches.

Normally I like it here,but the football game was on in Cardiff and you get your pints in plastic beakers,left after the first pints for a pub with glasses.

It's not a bad place but I'm an ale drinker they don't have anything over 4% & it's expensive for real ale under 4% it's were as you go in to other pubs near by the ale is better & cheaper
