Really nice food and friendly staff.

Hidden gem up stairs so tricky access if disabled. Delicious dinner: green papaya salad; duck in tamarind sauce; chicken satay; large prawn curry, tofu for vegetarian in our party and fresh mango with sticky rice. Each dish fresh crisp and visually attractive. Gracious service and chef. We'll definitely return when next in Llandudno!

Saw how highly rated Thaitastic was so visited on my birthday. Lovely welcome by Chef, Chaluay. Served quickly and pleasantly. Both my wife and I had Green Curry and Sticky Rice. Lovely flavours. My wife had let it be known that it was my birthday and a slice of cheesecake with ice cream and candle was presented to me. All the other customers sang “Happy Birthday “ and made the whole occasion especially nice. Thank you Thaitastic. I highly recommend your restaurant.

Traditional Thai cuisine at reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful, chef also greets us on desk and chat with us . I ordered Thai fried rice, beef salad, Tom Kha coconut soup and mango sticky rice, all are delicious and at a higher standard of what you get if you travel to Thailand. 100% recommend.

We booked a table for two just an hour before. We have visited Llandudno a number of times but this was our first try of the ThaiTastic and we were not disappointed!! Restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, we were offered a table by the window, lovely waitress very friendly and welcoming, took our drinks order, the Thai tea with milk was amazing would definitely recommend. Starters we ordered a sharing platter for two and OH said the sesame toast was the best he had ever tasted, the Thai fish cakes were also delectable. Very quick and efficient service Tom Yum soup was full of flavour and plenty of it. Mains we ordered Thai red curry and Panang. You can choose the meats for your dish on ordering, we also had a side of rice and drunken noodles (very spicy) full of flavour. They provided us with spare plates for sharing also which was a lovely touch. A truly beautiful authentic experience and added to our favourite restaurants.

Dropped in for a nice quite meal early doors good service (not in your face) and good food married to a Thai so if her plate is clean it’s good and at a very affordable price

We had family round so we ordered 8 different dishes tonight. Every one of them was absolutely delicious. We travelled in Thailand and have always enjoyed Thai food so we can be a bit fussy but Im absolutely thrilled to have discovered this place! We will be back!

Despite arriving earlier, we waited over 45 minutes for our drinks while others who arrived later were served. The waitress ignored us, and we felt discriminated against. This was unacceptable.

Friendly staff, authentic atmosphere and delicious food! We mentioned that one of our party had a shrimp allergy and they remade an entire dish to ensure that everyone was safe. Just amazing! We are also all vegetarian and easily ordered multiple items off the menu as you can add tofu to any dish.

We had a table booked for 7:30 PM and arrived a bit earlier. At that time, the restaurant was quite empty. After being seated and placing our order, the restaurant started to get busier. However, despite arriving and ordering first, we noticed that other tables who came after us were receiving their food and drinks before us. We waited an unacceptable amount of time—more than 45 minutes—without receiving our drinks. We inquired about our order with the waitress, but she did not respond to us. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later had already received their starters and drinks. This experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We expected better service and felt neglected throughout our visit. I hope you take this feedback seriously to ensure no other customers have to endure such poor service in the future.

The best green curry I've had in years. Also delicious fish cakes. Staff was very friendly, efficient and Thai. On the first floor so access not great for mobility issues (unless there was a lift I didn't see).

Good flavours and service. There was no long wait as described in other comments, but was no more than 15 mins and perfectly understandable as food was freshly cooked. Mango and glutinous rice was an excellent desert! Pad Thai was authentic but portions were slightly small.

We had a special birthday meal here and what a great choice that was. The food was lovely, great variety of tasty dishes to choose from and the staff are super friendly. We will be coming back.

The stairs are well worth it for the food, 3 sets of 6 or 7, I have walking difficulties and have a crutch but would definitely not let that stop me coming back here!! We rocked up without a reservation and we were warmly greeted and seated. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The food…the food was amazing, delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend this place and we’ll be heading back when we’re in the area.

Overall not that positive an experience. Service was quite good though the waitress struggled to understand what we wanted. Food was ok, not sure whether it was freshly cooked. Not sure wether we’ll return again when in the area.

We visited thaistatic when we were in the area on our holiday. Great food and good service from the staff. They portions are really good and we enjoyed every bit of the food. My son 8 yr old and daughter 2 year old loved the food. The soups were signature thai style.

Arrived on spec for dinner and the restaurant was at the top of a steep staircase. The welcome was friendly and we were served by a young and inexperienced waitress who struggled to take our order due to a language difficulty. We had to chase up other staff as our drinks order did not arrive and the meal order turned out to be staggard in terms of delivery to the table, incorrect and of poor taste.

We walked round looking for somewhere to eat, as we were looking at the menu outside, a few people went in so we thought we'd give it a try. The dining area isn't massive but there were quite a few people already in. We hadn't booked but we were given a table. We chose a starter sharing platter and 2 meals which we were sharing and a rice. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, our food came out quite quickly. The food was hot and absolutely delicious and although only ordering one rice, there was enough food for both of us. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Llandudno, as we were, it may be advisable to book as the season gets busier.

Basic decor but good Thai food. Tempura vegetables were very are good, although the menu did describe them as battered vegetables. Very enjoyable meal with a group of friends.

In the centre of Llandudno upstairs so maybe not easy for people with mobility problems as no lift. We had pad Thai, Thai green curry and, fried rice all nicely cooked and piping hot. Quick friendly service. Not many tables so probably best to book in high season

Can't rate service or atmosphere because we got takeaway, but the food was phenomenal! We got 2 different curries - and they were so flavorful and warm and spring rolls and everything was so delicious. I have had very bad luck with takeout in Conwy in general, with curries generally being very "hot/spicy" but somehow also incredibly one note - so I was over the moon to find a place like this. It is 100% going to be my go-to spot for Thai, and more than likely, most take out when I have to be in North Wales.

Phoned up tonight to check if they were open and then called in as was craving Thai Salad and Fish Cakes. Sadly they did not have Papaya but Chef offered the same with cucumber which was lovely. The fish cakes took me back to Thailand and were definitely authentic. The Chef and young girl on Reception were very accommodating and without a shadow of doubt, I will be back. Please support this lovely, independent business.

Delicious food and excellent service. The lady who served us was polite and the service was quick without feeling rushed at all. We had fishcakes and tom kha soup to start, with mussaman curry and pad kra pow for mains. All the food was very tasty.

On a dark cold night on my own for work ventured into this wonderful establishment. The owner/ chef was so obliging and friendly. The food was fire rate. The beer a genuine 650ltr from Thailand! Amazing 👏

Please ignore pre 2023 reviews as this was before the new owner took over. Now it is an excellent Thai restaurant. Our meal was very, very good, the service was excellent and it was so clean. We noticed that when a table became free it was cleaned thoroughly. Prices were very reasonable as well which was a bonus. Would recommend this to all Thai food lovers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at Thaitastic. All freshly made, authentic Thai cuisine. Possibly the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. The Mango sticky rice was to die for and the chef owner was very attentive coming to our table to talk after the meal. Lovely wine, lovely Thai tea, lovely people and can’t wait to go back again soon.

A gem of a restaurant and without doubt our favourite place to eat during our stay in Llandudno. The staff are so friendly, even the chef came out and had a chat with us at the table. We will be back when we visit again.

I was excited to try the food out, but a little disappointed. The food looked great and the Thai salad was for sure spicy, but the curry was tasteless. Our kids enjoyed the satay chicken and Thai fried rice.

Excellent, fine food at a reasonable price with lovely service

Lovely Thai restaurant on the first floor overlooking Mostyn Street in the centre of town. Warm greeting and excellent service by the young team, really tasty food just as we hoped for. Tom Yum soup was excellent and the Beef Salad outstanding, a generous portion with really tender beef. Each dish is offered with the choice of Mild or Hot. On the advice of our waiter we chose Mild for the soup and our own choice, Hot for the salad; Hot really means hot and I enjoyed the heat but glad we did not choose hot for both dishes! (Perhaps the option of a mid-way compromise might be helpful.) ice cream with bananas in batter was a lovely end to the meal. We chose house white and house red wines which went well with dishes. We would have liked to have tried more of the dishes but were full up and happy.

With not knowing any restaurants in Llandudno we stumbled across this place, after a quick scan of the reviews we ventured in and we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It wasn't very full when we went in but soon filled up and every table was occupied. Wouldn't hesitate to dine there again.

Incredible meal everytime. We particularly love the vegan tofu penang dish..I am yet to find anywhere as tasty as this one. The staff are so lovely and the decor is beautiful and colourful.

We had a delicious meal here on a busy Saturday night. There were three boys serving and they were politeness personified! Admittedly it took a while for our food to arrive, maybe 35 minutes, and we had to ask for prawn crackers (that had been given without asking to two tables who arrived after us), which was a little frustrating. However the food was first class and plentiful. The Thai chef came out to say hello during our meal and he was lovely. Thank you all. We had a very pleasant evening

Front of house staff were no older than 13. The two young waiters were rather giddy and shouted over the restaurant to communicate with each other. Other customers were not impressed either! Had to get own menu. Cleaned tables and then flicked crumbs back on from napkins.

I took it back to the hotel to eat and it tasted pretty good. But when I opened it, I found that one of the fried noodles had the wrong meat. I originally ordered shrimp but was given duck meat. I hope the store can pay more attention to it.

We called in tonight on the spur of the moment. Although the place was busy we had a nice table in the window and were served very quickly. There was a small mix up with our meals but this was rectified immediately and the food was fresh and delicious. Portion size is very good too. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back for sure. Their lemon tea is my new favourite drink.

An absolute gem glad that it's got a new manager and chef. I went there when it was rlly busy so the poor waitress was being rushed around. But the food is absolutely stunning especially the green curry but if you do get it i recommend to get i with duck. The restaurant overall is very homely.

I went there with my partner,sat down, waited a good 10 minutes,then two other tables got filled up with people coming in,next minute they all had menus in front of them whilst we were still waiting for the menus, still waited then gave up and went elsewhere. Really dont recommend this place. Really bad service.

Ate there a few weeks ago. Arrived around 7pm-ish on a Sunday. Every table was occupied. Initially thought it was a good sign. Ordered our food around 7.25pm. . The 2 tables on either side of us also got irritable after some time and waitress offered them prawn crackers to fill their stomachs. So we also asked for prawn crackers to fill our young daughter. My wife and I got our soup around 7.55pm. Daughter didn't want soup. So she only had prawn crackers by this point. Few other tables also had problems with delays. Eventually, our main dishes came around 8.20pm, almost an hour after we ordered. My poor little girl had to wait that long! The next day she had school. So it wasn't like we had loads of time to hang around to chat. We just wanted to eat and then go home and put her to bed. When the food came, one of the dishes we ordered was mainly a stir fry veg dish. The veg was edible but rather crunchy (raw). I do stir fry myself at home. To fry veg to this degree, it doesn't take me 5 mins. Maybe even 3 mins with their commercial stoves. Why took so long? Probably couldn't cope with sheer number of people or lack of kitchen staff. The front of house staff didn't even want to get into a conversation where they had to apologise for delay as they were embarrassed by the kitchen. So no asking the customers how their meal was..."Was everything alright?" type questions. Definitely not going there again. At least not busy weekend. The other small Thai place up the road in Upper Mostyn is better for sure.
