We had a fantastic meal here while in Llandudno for few days! Delicious, fresh Thai food and friendly service. The chef even came to talk to us after we finished our meal. Would definitely come here again next time we're in the area.

Food quite average. Owner very short tempered, only asked if he did Singha beer - voice raised and arms flailing. Unbelievable, seemed to calm down when he realised I was spending a fair bit. Had I not made a special trip to dine there, would have walked. Much improvement in food and attitude to customers to be made.

Outstanding in every respect... Layla , the waitress ; was very professional , friendly & helpful... and the Chef --- who knew of Dumfries ( as I live near there ) , was superb... as was the food.... I have never had such "clean", refreshing soup and main course , as from this wonderful establishment ... super portions of wonderful food... and the Banana Fritter for desert... just outstanding ... whenever I visit Llandudno again , I will certainly make a bee-line for Thau Tastic thank you

Extremely Disappointing Experience We had a confirmed booking for 8:30 PM, but upon arrival, we were told there was no table available despite showing empty tables. When we told them about our reservation, the staff then claimed they had run out of ingredients, which is unacceptable for a professional restaurant during dinner service. To make matters worse, my 35-week pregnant wife was left hungry and we were forced to request takeaway. Initially, they agreed (surprising, considering they had run out of ingredients)but soon changed the estimated wait time from 30 minutes to an hour even before taking our order, clearly attempting to discourage us. The lack of communication and callous attitude were appalling. They had taken our details and phone number from and a simple phone call to cancel our reservation would have been appreciated. This review probably won’t have any impact on the way the restaurant functions, but to anyone planning to dine here, I strongly recommend reconfirming your reservation and having a backup plan.

I had an amazing experience at Thaitastic last night. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Lovely welcome by the Chef. Who was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. Served quickly and pleasantly. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out. I can't wait to come back! Thank you Thaitastic. There was one person running the entire thing. Serving, payments, taking orders, cooking. He was super friendly and gave great service and somehow managed to juggle all of that at once. The food was really nice and took us back to our month in Thailand in 2024. The views were lovely too. I had a wonderful time here with my wife and we even brought our dog and sat up next to the window with him. Super duper dog friendly and this is non-negotiable for me when I'm going out. Will return again when we come back to town

Great experience tonight all round! What a hidden gem. The food was fresh, flavoursome and traditional Thai. Took me right back to my travels. Very reasonable prices for such good portion sizes. And most of all we were taken a back by how kind, genuine and hardworking the staff were this evening. The restaurant was so clean and welcoming. We decided to try this place for the first time two weeks ago and we are so glad we did. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We ordered the thai green curry and the pad kra pow both with chicken and jasmine rice. The portion sizes were spot on and both meals were really flavourful and had the perfect amount of spice. Staff very friendly, good music and decorated really nicely. Can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! ⭐️ We would also like to say a big thank you to the generous couple who paid our bill without us knowing, it was a really kind thing to do!! :)

This is one of my favourite restaurants llandudno. I had pad Thai and Thai salad. I recommend it to visit. There are ample amount of vegetarian options too. Must visit

Really nice food and friendly staff.

Hidden gem up stairs so tricky access if disabled. Delicious dinner: green papaya salad; duck in tamarind sauce; chicken satay; large prawn curry, tofu for vegetarian in our party and fresh mango with sticky rice. Each dish fresh crisp and visually attractive. Gracious service and chef. We'll definitely return when next in Llandudno!

Saw how highly rated Thaitastic was so visited on my birthday. Lovely welcome by Chef, Chaluay. Served quickly and pleasantly. Both my wife and I had Green Curry and Sticky Rice. Lovely flavours. My wife had let it be known that it was my birthday and a slice of cheesecake with ice cream and candle was presented to me. All the other customers sang “Happy Birthday “ and made the whole occasion especially nice. Thank you Thaitastic. I highly recommend your restaurant.

Así que entré en el restaurante alrededor de las 8 pm y un par de personas acababan de salir y el restaurante estaba vacío, así que solo yo allí, pedí un salteado y me di cuenta de que no escuché ninguna fritura en la cocina ni podía oler mi comida cocinada, entonces escuché un portazo de microondas 1 minuto antes de recibir mi comida y cuando la recibí supe que no había visto una sartén, ni carbón, ni color, y la salsa acababa de ser vertida por encima y escurrida al fondo del tazón. Soy un chef totalmente calificado, no tengo microondas en mi casa y ciertamente no voy a pagar a alguien más para que use uno para mí, debería ser ilegal que la gente corte esquinas como esa, no es diferente a ser un constructor de vaqueros y lo peor es que no tenían otros clientes! Le pregunté a la señora si lo habían puesto en el microondas y ella dijo que no, lo que yo sabía que no era cierto y normalmente preguntaban si su comida estaba bien, pero nada de eso porque sabían... No es chef, ¿qué hace un microondas en un restaurante chino que sirve principalmente salteados? Dice mucho sobre el chef.

Traditional Thai cuisine at reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful, chef also greets us on desk and chat with us . I ordered Thai fried rice, beef salad, Tom Kha coconut soup and mango sticky rice, all are delicious and at a higher standard of what you get if you travel to Thailand. 100% recommend.

Reservamos una mesa para dos solo una hora antes. Hemos visitado Llandudno varias veces, pero este fue nuestro primer intento del ThaiTastic y no nos decepcionó! El restaurante estaba bastante ocupado cuando llegamos, nos ofrecieron una mesa junto a la ventana, camarera encantadora muy amable y acogedora, tomó nuestro pedido de bebidas, el té tailandés con leche era increíble sin duda recomendaría. Para empezar pedimos un plato de compartir para dos y OH dijo que la tostada de sésamo era la mejor que había probado, los pasteles de pescado tailandés también eran deliciosos. Servicio muy rápido y eficiente La sopa Tom Yum estaba llena de sabor y abundante. Pedimos curry rojo tailandés y Panang. Usted puede elegir las carnes para su plato en el pedido, también tuvimos un lado de arroz y fideos borrachos (muy picante) lleno de sabor. Nos proporcionaron platos de repuesto para compartir también que fue un toque encantador. Una experiencia auténtica verdaderamente hermosa y agregada a nuestros restaurantes favoritos.

Se dejó caer para una buena comida bastante temprano puertas buen servicio (no en la cara) y buena comida casada con una tailandesa, así que si su plato está limpio es bueno y a un precio muy asequible

We had family round so we ordered 8 different dishes tonight. Every one of them was absolutely delicious. We travelled in Thailand and have always enjoyed Thai food so we can be a bit fussy but Im absolutely thrilled to have discovered this place! We will be back!

Despite arriving earlier, we waited over 45 minutes for our drinks while others who arrived later were served. The waitress ignored us, and we felt discriminated against. This was unacceptable.

Friendly staff, authentic atmosphere and delicious food! We mentioned that one of our party had a shrimp allergy and they remade an entire dish to ensure that everyone was safe. Just amazing! We are also all vegetarian and easily ordered multiple items off the menu as you can add tofu to any dish.

We had a table booked for 7:30 PM and arrived a bit earlier. At that time, the restaurant was quite empty. After being seated and placing our order, the restaurant started to get busier. However, despite arriving and ordering first, we noticed that other tables who came after us were receiving their food and drinks before us. We waited an unacceptable amount of time—more than 45 minutes—without receiving our drinks. We inquired about our order with the waitress, but she did not respond to us. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later had already received their starters and drinks. This experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We expected better service and felt neglected throughout our visit. I hope you take this feedback seriously to ensure no other customers have to endure such poor service in the future.

The best green curry I've had in years. Also delicious fish cakes. Staff was very friendly, efficient and Thai. On the first floor so access not great for mobility issues (unless there was a lift I didn't see).

Good flavours and service. There was no long wait as described in other comments, but was no more than 15 mins and perfectly understandable as food was freshly cooked. Mango and glutinous rice was an excellent desert! Pad Thai was authentic but portions were slightly small.

We had a special birthday meal here and what a great choice that was. The food was lovely, great variety of tasty dishes to choose from and the staff are super friendly. We will be coming back.

The stairs are well worth it for the food, 3 sets of 6 or 7, I have walking difficulties and have a crutch but would definitely not let that stop me coming back here!! We rocked up without a reservation and we were warmly greeted and seated. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The food…the food was amazing, delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend this place and we’ll be heading back when we’re in the area.

Overall not that positive an experience. Service was quite good though the waitress struggled to understand what we wanted. Food was ok, not sure whether it was freshly cooked. Not sure wether we’ll return again when in the area.

We visited thaistatic when we were in the area on our holiday. Great food and good service from the staff. They portions are really good and we enjoyed every bit of the food. My son 8 yr old and daughter 2 year old loved the food. The soups were signature thai style.

Arrived on spec for dinner and the restaurant was at the top of a steep staircase. The welcome was friendly and we were served by a young and inexperienced waitress who struggled to take our order due to a language difficulty. We had to chase up other staff as our drinks order did not arrive and the meal order turned out to be staggard in terms of delivery to the table, incorrect and of poor taste.

We walked round looking for somewhere to eat, as we were looking at the menu outside, a few people went in so we thought we'd give it a try. The dining area isn't massive but there were quite a few people already in. We hadn't booked but we were given a table. We chose a starter sharing platter and 2 meals which we were sharing and a rice. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, our food came out quite quickly. The food was hot and absolutely delicious and although only ordering one rice, there was enough food for both of us. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Llandudno, as we were, it may be advisable to book as the season gets busier.

Basic decor but good Thai food. Tempura vegetables were very are good, although the menu did describe them as battered vegetables. Very enjoyable meal with a group of friends.

In the centre of Llandudno upstairs so maybe not easy for people with mobility problems as no lift. We had pad Thai, Thai green curry and, fried rice all nicely cooked and piping hot. Quick friendly service. Not many tables so probably best to book in high season

Can't rate service or atmosphere because we got takeaway, but the food was phenomenal! We got 2 different curries - and they were so flavorful and warm and spring rolls and everything was so delicious. I have had very bad luck with takeout in Conwy in general, with curries generally being very "hot/spicy" but somehow also incredibly one note - so I was over the moon to find a place like this. It is 100% going to be my go-to spot for Thai, and more than likely, most take out when I have to be in North Wales.

Phoned up tonight to check if they were open and then called in as was craving Thai Salad and Fish Cakes. Sadly they did not have Papaya but Chef offered the same with cucumber which was lovely. The fish cakes took me back to Thailand and were definitely authentic. The Chef and young girl on Reception were very accommodating and without a shadow of doubt, I will be back. Please support this lovely, independent business.

Tried this restaurant during my 2-day visit. Good food and good service. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and chatty. I'd recommend Pad Thai and fried rice with beef. Invite us to tea and wish you a prosperous business.

Delicious food and excellent service. The lady who served us was polite and the service was quick without feeling rushed at all. We had fishcakes and tom kha soup to start, with mussaman curry and pad kra pow for mains. All the food was very tasty.

On a dark cold night on my own for work ventured into this wonderful establishment. The owner/ chef was so obliging and friendly. The food was fire rate. The beer a genuine 650ltr from Thailand! Amazing 👏

Please ignore pre 2023 reviews as this was before the new owner took over. Now it is an excellent Thai restaurant. Our meal was very, very good, the service was excellent and it was so clean. We noticed that when a table became free it was cleaned thoroughly. Prices were very reasonable as well which was a bonus. Would recommend this to all Thai food lovers.
