We had the mussels, pizza and lasagna and everything was fresh and very delicious! Best mussels I've ever had. Service was quick and very nice as well!

We visited the restaurant on the pirate weekend in Conwy and Shilpa was an absolute star. She has an absolutely wonderful personality, her service was exquisite and the food was brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend anybody eating at the Conway Dillons as Shilpa is absolutely brilliant.

Great atmosphere. Was really disappointed by the food - was by no means horrific but not worth the money at all. Everyone was disappointed by their main which were really overpriced for portion size and quality. A real shame as recommended by many friends :(

Our meal was enjoyable here but we were sat downstairs (which is fair enough as we hadn’t made a booking) and sort of left to it as we were the only people down there. Our starters took 45 mins to arrive and then the mains 45 mins after that but we had no communication from the staff. There were people who arrived and then left again before we’d even got our main meal! The food was nice but perhaps not worth the long wait.

This place wasn’t on our radar when staying in Conwy but once we walked by we knew we had to go in. We had an amazing dinner and the service was exceptional…..so much so that we ended up going back for lunch the next day. We had friends staying in Llandudno a few days after us and told them they had to go…..they also loved it! Try and sit upstairs to get a view of the castle if possible

I’ve given a 3 due to the prices and portions. Staff and building were great, but it’s let down by the overpriced menu and portions. We were also left standing around waiting for a table when there were clearly lots of free and unreserved places. Dylan’s are a local business with city prices.

Top tier food, really lovely staff and a really nice atmosphere.

Really really enjoyed Dylan's twice before but not so much this time....the unbeatable loaf with salted Welsh butter has been replaced by a rather pretentious offer of rolls with 3 different types of flavoured butter none of which any of us liked. Disaster! Plus although the menu warns that Menai oysters will probably have sand in them the grittiness wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Service average this time. Average all round I'm afraid. Sorry!

The restaurant looks pleasant and the service was ok but we were surprised by the size of the portions, they were like for kids. My husband ordered large portion of muscles ( £24)and had just some at the bottom of the dish, he asked if this is right and the waiter after discussing with the chef came to my husband and said that my husband was right and doubled the portion. My question why put half at the beginning? I and my friend had seafood linguine. I wish I took a picture! It was tiny portion of pasta and a bit of a muscles and clams. We went for mains and deserts and left hungry. I was very disappointed and I will never visit any restaurants of this chain again.

Excellent food and great Service. The restaurant is decorated fantastic with a nautical theme. There’s something on the menu for everyone from Pastas, pizzas, fish dishes, burgers and much more! We have eaten here twice in the last week as the food is that good! I big thank you to Shilpa for looking after us on both occasions, she’s so friendly and there to discuss the menu with you if needed! Well worth a visit and we will be back!

Service was very slow and it wasn’t even busy. Drinks order was taken wrong. Food was just about warm, more effort seems to have gone into the appearance than the taste. Wouldn’t go again.

A delightful meal! From the calamari’s to the ribs and pastas we felt very well cared for and enjoyed every bite!

Stopped by for a quick lunch after a visit to the Conwy Castle. I was a little worried as I was in a rush, but the food was served in a fast manner (about 10 mins wait). I ordered the Seafood Chowder and the Seafood Linguine. I was impressed by the seafood chowder, with thick chunks of different fishes. The prawns were huge and succulent, balanced in a cream base, and served with a thick slice of sourdough bread (would have been great if it was toasted/hot). The seafood linguine came in an oil based sauce with lots of crawfish, mussels, and crab, and it was a little too fishy for my liking. Service was great, and the place was nicely decorated with a nautical themed (coastal town vibes). They also have a store next door for dry goods. Would love to return for their seafood chowder again! (:

The restaurant is at a really nice location. It is apparently Drew Pritchard from Salvage Hunters place. Shilpa and Charlie looked after us and they were both amazing. We ordered two main courses and a side to share. The first one was the tacos (3 tacos in main and 2 in starter). The fish was lovely and really well cooked, but I feel like there was so much stuff in the tacos, you couldn’t really taste it. The sauces in it were delicious. Overall it was nice, but I wouldn’t order it again. Our other main was mussels. I love mussels so I was so very excited for it. The portion itself was generous. The sauce was very well prepared; you could taste the chef was not shy of ingredients. But these were the first mussels I’ve ever had to have sand and pearls in it! At first, I didn’t understand what it was. Lucky not have broken any tooth! Then, I got excited to have found a relatively pearl in my mussel like a child. But when you continue eating and almost every single mussel has either pearl or sand, it’s not a very good experience. I don’t blame the restaurant or the chef. Welsh beaches are quite sandy so that’s very normal. I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d like to even though they were very fresh. We ordered some chips as a side. I won’t lie they were quite expensive for the amount we got. It wasn’t very nice to pay London prices in Wales. We then ordered tiramisu and rhubarb meringue. Tiramisu was delicious and very fresh. I loved it. If I wasn’t full, I would’ve ordered another one! The rhubarb one was very tasty too, but it could use a bit more rhubarb in it. Overall, very nice experience. I would definitely go back to try their other food when I am back in Conwy.

All Dylans present the same lovely food, great again today, and standards are good, however we felt service was slow at Conwy mainly as an extra pair of hands is needed.

Top Spot in Conwyn – A Must-Try! Absolutely blown away by this place! The service was amazing – super friendly and attentive. The food? Incredible. Generous portion sizes, top-quality ingredients, and everything tasted fantastic. Honestly, such good value for money too. If you’re a foodie in the Conwyn area, don’t miss this spot. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

Had a great evening meal here, perfect post 6 hour hike! Lots of vegan options too which were great! Sticky toffee pudding (ve) was great to finish. Looking out over the castle was amazing! Charlie our server was so lovely!

We popped in last night whilst passing in Conwy just for a drink and were met by lovely staff. We had a couple of cocktails, a long island and a classic mojito, both of which were fantastic!! We got talking to the very beautiful and lovely Natalie who I believe is the manager. She showed me around and I got to see the fantastic views of the castle upstairs. The food coming out looked fabulous and although we did not eat we shall definitely be returning. Lovely building, lovely atmosphere and amazing people. Thank you!!

We visited for Mothers’ Day and as well as the excellent standard menu, there was also a fantastic selection of Mothers’ Day specials for all courses, including cocktails! We had menu choices where one of our party wanted multiple starters and no main, and another in our party wanted small portions of mains, but no starter - all accommodated by the menu and produced when required. The team there are fantastic, super friendly and attentive, but specifically Shilpa who was our server. As ever the food was fantastic. My wife won the starters with the seafood chowder, though the scallops came a very close second. We couldn’t agree on the winning main course - my braised feather blade of Welsh beef was amazing, but the chicken in a basket, and seafood linguine were all amazing too.

Have eaten dinner twice this week, both excellent. Millionaire Pizza is superb as were Moules and Hake. Jess, Kizos and Shilpa serving. Two lovely experiences.

We’re local so have been to Dylan’s a few times, between Menai Bridge and Conwy and it’s always a treat. This time it was for Mother’s Day. We were looked after by Shilpa who was super attentive and kind. It was also a lovely surprise to receive a little Mothers day gift at the end of the meal. We wanted to order the lamb from the specials but it was unfortunately already out, despite it only being 12.15 (although the specials ran fri-mon). So instead we had the Pork, the lobster pizza from the specials menu and a kids chicken goujons. We all loved our meals. And picked up a few gifts for relatives from next door on our way out. Thanks!

Dylan’s is our favourite restaurant in Conwy. All the food we’ve had here has been amazing. Natalie and Shilpa looked after us very well. Restaurant is beautiful and great atmosphere. Would always recommend!

Called in for a coffee. Left after 10 mins as waiter seemed intent on serving others who came in after us. No acknowledgment at all. Poor. And the place wasn’t particularly busy at all. Others seemed to be ordering food so we felt marginalised as we were only ordering drinks. Went to Dylan’s especially. Won’t be back. Atmosphere wasn’t warm and fuzzy.

We had a wonderful time! We were well looked after especially by Olly and Mia. Perfect for people avoiding gluten, Dylan’s take great care to ensure your food is gluten free. We have only been to the Menai Dylan’s before and wondered if the Conwy restaurant would be as good and I’m happy to say it is! We were upstairs in the restaurant, it was bright, light and wonderful!

Lovely setting and atmosphere, though quiet at lunchtime. The waitress, Shilpa, was friendly and helpful. Three of us had the mussels and felt that the sauce lacked any real flavour. It is the reason I order the dish , but couldn’t finish this. It was basically just a bowl of cream. The chowder was also overly creamy. Disappointing, but may try again with different dishes.

Stopped in Conwy on the way back from a weekend trip and struggled to find somewhere to eat but thankfully Dylan's had room and we were glad they did. Place was lovely, staff lovely and food wonderful too. Definitely recommend

We had a great time! Looked after by Natalie who was amazing! Made us feel welcomed and had a nice chat with her. She was quick with our drinks and came and checked if we needed anything else after our food arrived. The food was brilliant, the pizzas were perfect and the lasagne looked amazing. Had an amazing dining experience at Dylan’s Coney! We started with a Wrexham Lager and a Raspberry Cocktail, both refreshing and well-crafted. For mains, we tried the Braised Feather Blade of Welsh Beef and the Special Cheeseburger—both were excellent choices. The beef was cooked beautifully, tender and flavorful, while the burger was juicy and packed with taste. The fries were absolutely stunning—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. To top it all off, we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was a delightful way to end the meal—rich, warm, and delicious. Overall, great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

We visited on St David's Day and were really well looked after by Kristian, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and ensured we had everything we wanted throughout our meal. I've been to all of the Dylan's sites and I think this one has the best seafood linguine! Great experience, we will be back.

We found d a great restaurant in Conwy which was really close to the harbour called Dylans. The menu was extensive and has something for all food lovers. The atmosphere is realled relaxed and the staff ( Ella and Natalie ) we really friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and served quickly. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth a stop if your around Conwy

Unfortunately,after waiting for nearly ten minutes at the door with a hungry baby whilst the on server attended to all the restaurant, we were finally spoken to by the waiter who was rather abrupt, to tell us there is no space as upstairs won't be open for twenty minutes, when we pointed out a table that had just become free, he told us that we would have to wait another ten minutes. I don't often leave bad reviews but the service was awful.

Another fabulous visit. Amazing views and food. Together with great service and fab decor. This place is our new favourite. Thanks again to the star that is Kristian. He deserves a raise. What a bloke.

A fabulous venue. We had drinks and main courses. The quality of the food was outstanding and Kristin who served us was dealing with all the upstairs tables single handedly and he made a fantastic job of it. He was fun and witty and had a lovely happy manner about him. It was a pleasure to be served by him. It’s unusual to get such excellent customer service at restaurants and this was a refreshing change. The seafood was excellent and the children’s menu was great value.

Whilst food was good and service was very good being seated next to an old window with a chilly draught was not great. At least get some curtains if the windows are too old to be repaired?

Excellent food and first class service. What a great find. Attentive staff and wide menu and very comprehensive drinks menu. Food was fresh and quick. A lovely interior and setting. Would love to come back in summer, as outdoor terrace looks lovely. Really great Dylan’s deli next door too. Serves throughout the day which is ideal as we needed an early sitting as going to the cinema. Keep up the good work team Dylan.

What a fabulous place to stumble upon in Conwy. The food was wonderful and the service was speedy and attentive. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I had a welsh beef burger and the seasoned skinny fries, both were amazing. A had the sea bass tacos which he said were delicious too.

We really enjoyed our evening here. Natalie and Ela were lovely. The food was fantastic. I had the Hake which was delicious in a leek sauce and my husband had the seafood linguine which he loved. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

I travelled from Birmingham with my partner and found this place based on the reviews on Google. The service was very slow and we were getting very frustrated, acknowledging it was a busy Saturday. The food we ordered was sea bass taco’s which were bland and hardly had any fish, we had to ask for more sauce which was kindly brought over by a colleague. The sea bass pasta was very bland apart from the small pieces of sun dried tomatoes I could find and the mozzarella , I had to douse the pasta with chilli oil and sauce. The sea bass tasted of nothing with no seasoning and the pasta was just tasteless cardboard. My partner ordered the mussels pizza which was out of this world (apart from the bland prawns placed on it) and mussels with bits of sand (we were warned). It was a very simple but tasty pizza. We wouldn’t return here but I can understand why locals would gather here. We had the specially seasons Dylan’s fries which were nice but cold. It’s giving Wetherspoons not a restaurant. The service was extremely great and I had a wonderful chat with the colleagues which boosted up the score.

We had a burger and a pizza. The burger was fresh but unfortunately without sauce and fried for too long. Still, he was fine. The pizza was great. You can really recommend it. The service is great. Very polite, patient and explain everything. We were very happy about that. The atmosphere is very cozy. All in all recommended.

We all had such a wonderful time on Tuesday, and we can’t forget a big shout out to Sean for providing an excellent experience, also having attempted to get Sean to spill the beans on the new location; he kept hush the whole time. I love the Dylan’s chain, the food is always tasty. So, when the food was pretty poor, the ragú deep fried was terrible, the pork was bathed in mayonnaise but thought perhaps it was a bad day, when we visited two months later and the mussels came with stale sourdough and the fish was bone dry, my disappointment was confirmed. Something needs to change. What a shame 😳

Four of us had a meal here at 4 o'clock on new years eve. The food was amazing but the service not so good! It wasn't particularly busy. Two of us didn't receive our starters because they forgot and it took quite a while to get their attention! Fair play they took them off our bill. I would return because the food is excellent.

Our first time eating here was just lovely. There was a welcoming vibe and we were greeted by pleasant staff. The ladies that served us were attentive and made us feel well looked after. Our food and drinks came promptly and everything was delicious! We look forward to dining at Dylan's again soon. 😊

The food and waitresses were lovely and could not do enough for us. The food was fresh, filling and well priced. Such a shame about the abrupttness of the manger on shift who appeared to have no issue scolding staff infront of customers.

Fantastic restaurant, extensive menu and plenty of local seafood. Also good options for kids too. We had mussels, prawns and pizza between us.

Staff were attentive and pleasant. However the food served was very disappointing.The Christmas dinner consisted of one slice of turkey, three small roast potatoes, 3 tiny carrots and a few Brussel sprout leaves with 1 pig in blanket and gravy. It looked unappetising and very poorly presented. I will not be returning and would not recommend.
