Dylan's Conwy in Conwy

Had an amazing dining experience at Dylan’s Coney! We started with a Wrexham Lager and a Raspberry Cocktail, both refreshing and well-crafted. For mains, we tried the Braised Feather Blade of Welsh Beef and the Special Cheeseburger—both were excellent choices. The beef was cooked beautifully, tender and flavorful, while the burger was juicy and packed with taste. The fries were absolutely stunning—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. To top it all off, we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was a delightful way to end the meal—rich, warm, and delicious. Overall, great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience!

We visited on St David's Day and were really well looked after by Kristian, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and ensured we had everything we wanted throughout our meal. I've been to all of the Dylan's sites and I think this one has the best seafood linguine! Great experience, we will be back.

We found d a great restaurant in Conwy which was really close to the harbour called Dylans. The menu was extensive and has something for all food lovers. The atmosphere is realled relaxed and the staff ( Ella and Natalie ) we really friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and served quickly. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth a stop if your around Conwy

A fabulous venue. We had drinks and main courses. The quality of the food was outstanding and Kristin who served us was dealing with all the upstairs tables single handedly and he made a fantastic job of it. He was fun and witty and had a lovely happy manner about him. It was a pleasure to be served by him. It’s unusual to get such excellent customer service at restaurants and this was a refreshing change. The seafood was excellent and the children’s menu was great value.

Unfortunately,after waiting for nearly ten minutes at the door with a hungry baby whilst the on server attended to all the restaurant, we were finally spoken to by the waiter who was rather abrupt, to tell us there is no space as upstairs won't be open for twenty minutes, when we pointed out a table that had just become free, he told us that we would have to wait another ten minutes. I don't often leave bad reviews but the service was awful.

Another fabulous visit. Amazing views and food. Together with great service and fab decor. This place is our new favourite. Thanks again to the star that is Kristian. He deserves a raise. What a bloke.

Excellent food and first class service. What a great find. Attentive staff and wide menu and very comprehensive drinks menu. Food was fresh and quick. A lovely interior and setting. Would love to come back in summer, as outdoor terrace looks lovely. Really great Dylan’s deli next door too. Serves throughout the day which is ideal as we needed an early sitting as going to the cinema. Keep up the good work team Dylan.

Whilst food was good and service was very good being seated next to an old window with a chilly draught was not great. At least get some curtains if the windows are too old to be repaired?

What a fabulous place to stumble upon in Conwy. The food was wonderful and the service was speedy and attentive. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I had a welsh beef burger and the seasoned skinny fries, both were amazing. A had the sea bass tacos which he said were delicious too.

We really enjoyed our evening here. Natalie and Ela were lovely. The food was fantastic. I had the Hake which was delicious in a leek sauce and my husband had the seafood linguine which he loved. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

I travelled from Birmingham with my partner and found this place based on the reviews on Google. The service was very slow and we were getting very frustrated, acknowledging it was a busy Saturday. The food we ordered was sea bass taco’s which were bland and hardly had any fish, we had to ask for more sauce which was kindly brought over by a colleague. The sea bass pasta was very bland apart from the small pieces of sun dried tomatoes I could find and the mozzarella , I had to douse the pasta with chilli oil and sauce. The sea bass tasted of nothing with no seasoning and the pasta was just tasteless cardboard. My partner ordered the mussels pizza which was out of this world (apart from the bland prawns placed on it) and mussels with bits of sand (we were warned). It was a very simple but tasty pizza. We wouldn’t return here but I can understand why locals would gather here. We had the specially seasons Dylan’s fries which were nice but cold. It’s giving Wetherspoons not a restaurant. The service was extremely great and I had a wonderful chat with the colleagues which boosted up the score.

We had a burger and a pizza. The burger was fresh but unfortunately without sauce and fried for too long. Still, he was fine. The pizza was great. You can really recommend it. The service is great. Very polite, patient and explain everything. We were very happy about that. The atmosphere is very cozy. All in all recommended.

We all had such a wonderful time on Tuesday, and we can’t forget a big shout out to Sean for providing an excellent experience, also having attempted to get Sean to spill the beans on the new location; he kept hush the whole time. I love the Dylan’s chain, the food is always tasty. So, when the food was pretty poor, the ragú deep fried was terrible, the pork was bathed in mayonnaise but thought perhaps it was a bad day, when we visited two months later and the mussels came with stale sourdough and the fish was bone dry, my disappointment was confirmed. Something needs to change. What a shame 😳

Four of us had a meal here at 4 o'clock on new years eve. The food was amazing but the service not so good! It wasn't particularly busy. Two of us didn't receive our starters because they forgot and it took quite a while to get their attention! Fair play they took them off our bill. I would return because the food is excellent.

Our first time eating here was just lovely. There was a welcoming vibe and we were greeted by pleasant staff. The ladies that served us were attentive and made us feel well looked after. Our food and drinks came promptly and everything was delicious! We look forward to dining at Dylan's again soon. 😊

The food and waitresses were lovely and could not do enough for us. The food was fresh, filling and well priced. Such a shame about the abrupttness of the manger on shift who appeared to have no issue scolding staff infront of customers.

Fantastic restaurant, extensive menu and plenty of local seafood. Also good options for kids too. We had mussels, prawns and pizza between us.

Staff were attentive and pleasant. However the food served was very disappointing.The Christmas dinner consisted of one slice of turkey, three small roast potatoes, 3 tiny carrots and a few Brussel sprout leaves with 1 pig in blanket and gravy. It looked unappetising and very poorly presented. I will not be returning and would not recommend.

I must admit that I was apprehensive about visiting here. Overall the reviews are very good but it seems to be having a bad run in December. All I will say is that the bad run continues. Service is very good though. Not an enjoyable experience despite the server trying to rescue the situation.

The setting was really lovely but unfortunately it stops at that. I am very aware of how much things have gone up and you appreciate it when your meal is worth it. My chicken burger was £18.95. The burger bun was stale the chicken was hardly to be seen and the chips were frozen chips. I couldn't finish my meal. Unfortunately will not be recommending or returning due to the low food standards.

Probably the poorest meal I’ve attended. I say attended as my meal experience was so bad I didn’t eat. We ended up paying for 3 of the 6 meals we ordered. The 3 we didn't pay for were stone cold and lacking in flavour (the pizza was soggy). The lady delivering my meal dropped a chip in my pint. There was no apology just “I’ve dropped a chip in your beer” and walked away. We sat through the whole experience with our coats on because the restaurant was freezing. Needless to say I won’t be going back. Absolutely shocking!!!

We do not get to Dylan's as often as we would like because we can only eat there when on holiday and so it makes it more special and looked forward to. Our Christmas dinner experience on Tuesday was worth looking forward to. We were made very welcome and had a delicious meal which was not rushed at all. The restaurant was nicely busy and the two staff ensured that no-one was left waiting and took time to chat and talk about the company and answer questions. Some people had the christmas meal, others the lunch menu or main menu and some just coffee and cake. All the food looked excellent. The customer service cannot be faulted, the christmas dinner has to be pre-ordered and paid for, part of our group were unfortunately able to join us and we explained and apologised to the staff the day before to give them chance to reduce our table size. We said if it was possible to have the christmas meals boxed up to take away that would be brilliant but fully understood if not as we did know it was non refundable. When we went in for the meal we were still on a table for four and the staff had boxed up the meals that were not being eaten that day and we had a second christmas dinner at our holiday cottage the next day and everything was just as delicious when heated up even if the presentation skills were not as good!!!!! Thank you Dylan's - we will be back

Booked this dog-friendly place for lunch, but didn’t really find it that dog-friendly at all. I was under the impression that we would have more of a spacious area, but were situated by the front door which was a bit of a squeeze. Lunch was good but service was a bit slow and not attentive.

What a ripoff of a place! £7.25 for a pint and £22 for a few pieces of fried chicken and a handful of chips. Massive tourist trap and very unhelpful staff. The wait times are around 40 minutes plus for food and the place was almost empty. I'm not surprised it was empty with the prices and the wait times.

We ate here last night at the last minute- very friendly, attentive staff, great service and reasonably priced food. And for God's sake, if you do eat here, make sure that at least one of you has the bread starter- never had anything like it before ! It was fantastic.

Staff were great and the food impressed both adults and kids. Toilets were very clean but not suitable for those with accessibility needs. Tip: try to book a table upstairs with a view of the castle, or better still out on the terrace facing it!

Can’t rate the food personally as they forgot to send my order to the kitchen and I sat for an hour waiting whilst tables around me came and went and got their food. I was a table of 1 so probably not a priority however also an easy order! The table next to me had to send their burgers back so perhaps I was lucky! After an hour of no attention whatsoever (my glass had been empty for 20 minutes - that’s an easy sell!) I’d had enough. There was only 2 staff on - a lady who was very helpful but seemed to be stuck downstairs and a guy who decided he should have a 20 minute chat to a customer rather than actually serving the rest of the people in the restaurant - customer relations are important but not when you are alienating everyone else! Overall, very disappointing especially as I was looking forward to the chowder!

Had two great meals here during a week away with my family. First time sat downstairs with the dog, was quieter but a good environment for those with little companions. The second time we sat upstairs, fab atmosphere, attentive, friendly staff. Food service was a little slow but food was delicious and fresh so no complaints. Highly recommend the seafood linguine and the bread and butter pudding made with barabrith. I was worried it would be too heavy and didn’t order it, lucky for me my husband did and it wasn’t heavy at all, it was gorgeous! (Luck for me my husband is happy to share)

Called in today for a late lunch and were we pleased we did. The service was first class and the food was excellent in quality, taste and presentation. The Dirty Pig meal was outstanding. The coffee was pretty good as well. Would have no hesitation in eating here if we come to Conwy again.

Voted with my feet Nice looking place but…. We wanted coffee & cake but they had no cakes despite the other part of their shop having some, strangely we were told to get them from there! We didn’t bother, we had driven for over 4 hours and were tired, so we just ordered coffee. At this point I wished we had left and gone somewhere else. I ordered a flat white and a latte, it was terrible they both looked & tasted the same, all milk and not a hint of coffee. I saw little point in complaining as it seems that’s how she makes coffee judging by the ones I saw afterwards. Another couple came in and tried to order cakes as well and were told the same thing. We had planned to dine there but decided against it. Voted with my feet £7.25 for 2 dreadful coffees

Nice late lunch here. The tomato soup and chowder starter were both nice, and came with a tasty slice of bread. I had the chicken and chips basket, which was just ok. The brisket burger was nicer but missed something to make it special. The service was nice but slow. Overall it is nice and I would come back and try something different. They are dog friendly in certain areas.

Ate here Saturday 19/10/24 with friends. Food was gorgeous as were the venue, atmosphere and staff. Naomi our waitress was lovely.

Hands down the best dog friendly place I have ever eaten at. Your so limited to places to eat when you have your fur babies 🐾 with you. Pubs and cafes tend to be the main options. It's refreshing to be able to eat at such an establishment with a dog. The food at Dylan's is amazing. The staff are attentive and friendly. I'd definitely visit again. Only disappointment is the shop next door was shut when we came otherwise would have loved to pick up some bits from there.

Now, as someone who enjoys a bit of culinary adventure, we’ve been meaning to pop in for ages. You see, we’ve already sampled their deli in Menai Bridge—top-notch stuff, that—and so when we found ourselves in Conwy for a spot of lunch, we thought, why not? Service? First-rate. Attentive but not intrusive, which is precisely how it should be. We ordered two pizzas—now, as a family of pizza obsessives (my grain-free wife included), the bar was set high. Very high. Woodland pizza and a Margherita (or “margarett” if you’re feeling nonchalant). Both arrived, and I must say, even Naples would nod in approval. Genuinely some of the best pizza I’ve had this side of Italy. Crisp base, perfect balance of toppings—nothing too clever, just honest-to-goodness pizza. Now, I must address a small confession: the cappuccino. Yes, I know, after 11:00! A shocking faux pas by Italian standards, but bear with me. This cappuccino was a triumph. In a world where Costa and their kin seem intent on mutilating the poor thing, Dylan’s has crafted a cup that could restore your faith in the drink. Forgive me, Italy, but this was worth it. In short, if you find yourself anywhere near Conwy, a detour to Dylan’s is not just recommended—it’s necessary. Especially if you fancy some properly done pizza.

Top notch experience!! The food! Honestly the best seafood we have had in a while and you must must must get the seafood chowder! Sublime!

First, the good stuff. Dyl’s brisket Burger was very nice but a small portion for £21.95. Cuban Calzone was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The bad stuff. Pints of lager/cider priced just under and just over £7!! The massive mark up is talking the p***. Also, I didn’t know that this place is card only until I’d ordered my meal (the staff didn’t mention this) I made the decision to stay but I hate when the choice to pay cash is removed from us. Due to this, I will only ever rate somewhere 1 star. If they accepted cash, this would be a 4/5 star review.

Walk in couple. The server was really helpful and found us a table immediately. We ordered starters and a main. The food was delicious however, portion sizes were small for the price and we waited at least 45mins after finishing the starter to get our main dish.

A fantastic meal managed to get a table before it got busy. I would advise booking a table because we were out the door for a table after we were seated. Red dragon pizza was amazing it's not for the faint hearted It has a kick to it. Deserts were amazing as well. The staff are very attentive and happy to help. Really worth a visit but definitely book a table to avoid disappointment

Came here as a group visiting and ordered our food it took them 1 and half hours for the food to come out they never came and check up on us before or after we got the food, did not refill our waters, the service was not good. Then the food came and it was honestly extremely underwhelming not as good as expect after that 1 and half hour wait. This place is a millennial nightmare, posh, sad decorations that seem random and not placed correctly, trying desperately to appeal to the “water theme” of this area. The food was greasy as ever, whether you ordered tacos or pizza, the grease dripping off was HORRIFIC. not many places to eat here.. but save yourself the trouble.

Visited twice during our weeks stay in Conwy. We booked both times as we had a dog with us and we were accommodated both times, no problem. The food was fantastic both times was very flavoursome and good portion sizes. A shout out for Megan who is an absolute star! She was taking bookings on the phone, seating people at tables, serving drinks and food and nothing phased her at all. She went about her job quickly and efficiently with a smile on her face, even finding time to chat. An absolute asset to your company!

So far we've visited Dylan's in Llandudno, Cricieth and now Conwy. They have all been excellent, food is good and a little more unusual than the norm, although you can also get staples such as Burgers, fried chicken, pizza etc. Staff have always been pleasant and attentive. Its more upmarket than average but the prices are still very reasonable.

Dylans in Conwy was fabulous! The staff were excellent and the food divine. We were a big family group and we all loved it. Super space upstairs was a lovely surprise.

Lovely afternoon lunch at Dylan’s. They would have got 5 star but my food took a little turn long to arrive, it doesn’t take over 15mins to serve a bowl of soup. Apart from that everything else was brilliant. The restaurant is lovely with plenty of seating up stairs which gives a nice view of St Mary’s church. Ordered soup of the day and a glass of white wine, both of which were excellent. It’s a really nice place to chill out or met for a lunch date on an afternoon.

Had a lovely meal at Dylan’s. Food was great, restaurant had an amazing view of the castle. We were served by Habil who was very attentive and funny. Please note that service charge is not included, you will have to add it. And give that guy a Tiramisu - he’s never had one before.

Lovely place with delicious food and very friendly staff. Would happily go again, recommended to friends. I kinda wish I had taken a photo of the hake in parmesan with potatoes and creamed leek in mustard... just gorgeous. The cheeseboard was one of the best I have ever had, and I have tried a few cheese boards. Was nice to have an aperol spritz (something I actually discovered over in Nice and Cannes), and the coffee liqueur was gorgeous. The extra piece of "Happy Birthday" ice cream was a lovely touch.

Starter menu has a loaf of bread and butter on it. I was very excited. The last one was sold to the previous customer. It's 3 hours later and I'm still coming to terms with it. The photo is off the loaf I didn't get. Otherwise highly recommend.

Excelent experience overall. I had the parmesan and herb crusted hake which was slightly dry and the crusting was not amazing, wouldn't have again (3/5), and tested the seafood (fish) tacos, which were really good (4/5) for quality and taste. It is slightly on the more expensive side for the town.

A lovely evening of great food and service. We have not been in a while and can say the food tonight was fabulous and the staff were very attentive and professional, The calamari starter is outstanding!! We had Calamari, Mackerel pate and white bait to start, with Rustic, Walk in wood and Coch Craig ( red dragon) pizza as well as "Dirty Pig" and all so hot, fresh and super tasty! Stuffed, happy and sleepy now, which is a perfect end to a lovely evening.
