Great roast dinner and friendly service.

i came in for food today, and was not disappointed, a really lovely meal, prepared by chef tom s, will deffinatly be coming again. Bar staff on shift were also lovely, really kind and go above and beyond for customers, can tell that both woody and blakesley really made the experience a joy, with their happy and positive attitudes. A lovely pub. Cant wait to come again

We went for a meal with family and the food was burnt and crispy the only best bit was the onions rings is defo gone down hill

Booked for a birthday meal. Food was served hot and drinks cold. Staff were friendly. Looks like the place to go for sports, big screen and lots advertised.

Been there a few times. Always friendly and good food. Be prepared for it to be busy when there is a sport event on TV.

Good atmosphere and pleasant service but very uneven quality of the meal: the jacket potatoes were good but lukewarm, the burgers were good for some and downright grilled for others. The fries were good. Too bad half of the dishes on the menu were not available.

Absolutely vile food, I appreciate it’s the Euro final but there’s no excuse for a jacket potato with less than a tablespoon of macaroni & just bbq sauce on a jacket potato. Ordered the beef chilli nachos and got a plate of dry nachos, not even as described (Doritos) without any meat and a table spoon of salsa. Staff are lovely but seriously, don’t bother. The food is utterly vile.

Sevice was fab, always friendly. Freshly cooked food which tasted great, the create your own sharer was delicious and my fussy kids enjoyed their meals. Cocktails and definitely the best around.

Great experience and we loved it, didn't take pics of food as it was a last minute plan, and wasn't thinking! But wanted to say staff were friendly and efficient! Helpful too, we had the baguette lunch time deal, and both were great (only thing we said was the baguette s could have been a little crispier) but that doesn't take away it was good and nice. Nicely filled and presented 👍🏼😉 Defiantly be back 🤗

Nothing you chose on the menu was available not many gins on the menu was available and no bottles of prosecco available really not recommended at all.

Absolutely diabolical. Place was not busy and waited 50 minutes for food. 50 minutes! When it came, the mushrooms were cold and the steak was medium raw rather than medium well. It was horrible. I ate some of it so as not to cause a fuss but my wife took it up to the bar and got a refund on it. I did not want to wait any longer for them to fix it

The Station is a bit like a slightly more upmarket Wetherspoons. They offer good “pub grub” meals served in good time at reasonable prices with a few lonely looking older single men nursing pints mixed in to complete the Wetherspoons vibe.

Nice open lay out pub. Very nice beer and a garden with heaters..

I came here with my family for a meal as it would have been my sister’s birthday who passed away so it was already a sad day for us. Then we had an awful experience here, I couldn’t wait to leave. Firstly I had booked the table about a week in advance, when I got there they hadn’t even reserved a table for us and had to ask a man to move so we could sit at one. Then the staff don’t seem to take any notice of orders through the app at all, we waited a long time for drinks then had to go up to the bar, the staff had no idea what the drinks were or how many, he had to be told by my friend how to make it. We then waiting a shockingly long time for our food to arrive. When it got there we had to ask twice for cutlery, by the time it was brought over our food was cold. Tasted awful. My sister waited 40 minutes for cauliflower salad, when it arrived it was burnt. It’s a shame because I’ve enjoyed coming here in the past but this has put me off coming here for food again

Visited last Friday at about 1730 place was nearly empty and didn't get much busier during the night which was strange as when I've passed bye before it's always been really busy and lively, service was good and fast probably because it wasn't busy!

Nice pub, just a certain young curly staff that is rude... maybe she had a bad day...but hope not to vent it out on customer...

Went here for evening meal, had Chicken Tikka with Rice, nan bread, poppadoms and mango chutney, wife had Scampi, daughter had chicken and bacon burger, really good meal.

Great service, staff very helpful and accommodating. Food was good sadly missing off the Yorkshire Puds on the roast, otherwise a very tasty meal and lovely cheese cake

Looked promising when we walked in ordered on the app waited 20 min for drinks had to go ask at bar 5 minutes later come told us they dint have what we ordered very poor wouldnt return.

Thought this was a wetherspoons when I walked in..... its not !!. Great (hot) food, great beer and inside really clean and tidy. Coming from the South east and getting a two course meal and two pints of Guinness for £21 is unheard of !! Fantastic pub 👌

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch here with friends and family.....Super mushroom wellington option for vegetarians.....Excellent value for money, attentive staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Just returned from an evening of Bingo at the Station, staff were very friendly and efficient, Bingo was so much fun and with really good cash prizes. Special shoutout to Joe who called the Bingo, very entertaining and kept everyone laughing and made the Bingo very enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back.

We had great night on new years eve great atmosphere with very friendly people

great place but you need to sort the music levels when the quiz is on. I'ts impossible to hear the questions with how loud the music is. it's like this every week and it's taking away from the enjoyment of participating

Good pub food ok but long waits at the bar. Never enough bar staff available.... always doing other things & not serving drinks

Waited around an hour for three small plates and two coffees. Staff had no idea what was happening and seemed away with the fairies. One staff member came over and told us it was ready but forgot what table it was for but then took a good 20 minutes to come back with it. Really strange place, likely wouldn't go back unless I'd booked a week off work for the wait time.

Live band on Saturdays, karaoke on fridays and you don't have unruly people coming around.

Most excellent pub for service and food and atmosphere

Ordered a starter and a main the starter was really nice, good portion size and value for money. However when the main came I had ordered the Sunday roast they had ran out of pigs in blankets ( which wasn't to bad) I was offered cauliflower cheese as a substitute but I had already ordered this as part of my meal so I was told this would be refunded, the portion of gravy was a little small to what I would normally have so asked for another, the staff member came back and stated that I had to pay for the extra gravy before they would give it to me so I reminded him that I was owed for the pigs and blankets, to which he replied no problem, so out comes the gravy ( which was really nice) I look at the menu again and it states that you get free top ups of gravy, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds. So why did they refuse to give me gravy until I had paid for it? After all that the meal wasn't very enjoyable and the table service well apart from them bringing the food out was next to nothing, when the plates were taken wasn't asked if everything was OK so sadly the experience wasn't very enjoyable.

Lovely venue but chips were really awful! And I love chips so I'm afraid I've knocked a point off for this. Everything else was spot on.

Awful from start to finish.. the waitress that 'served' us just seemed annoyed and had a sour face. The food was barely warm, looked horrible and was just edible on top of one of our meals coming out so late that everyone else had finished eating..

Great friendly pub was made very welcome and we had a great evening. The DJ was good and a laugh. I highly recommend for a fun night out

Early Tuesday morning & already busy with folk sheltering from the 🌧️ & watching re-runs of recent ⚽️ on the large screens. Just here for the ale - limited choice of regular standards.

Absolutely fantastic place, food was delicious, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we here for a few days and will definitely be coming back for dinner tomorrow (07/09/23) We sat at table 10 this evening by the way, fabulous!

Nice place to eat burgers are amazing

I went for the Colwyn Bay ukelele fest its okay but for something like that its just too crsmamped. Not the pubd fault its an L shaped layout so if your around the road side you cant see the entertainment.. Football was on the screens throughout the afternoon really distracting a bit rude really. However on its own merits its clean the food and service are good if you like a sports pub its fine. It offers various evenings out like singers and karaoke. I wouldn't frequent it often but then I don't care for sports bar. I prefer a more tranquil restaurant.

Great food at very reasonable price. We had 2x mixed grill, 1 chicken with mushroom &Brandy sauce (delish), a huge burger, & a side of (amazing ) onion rings, 1 pint & 3x soft drink all for 46quid ! Service was great and staff very friendly - would recommend.

Was a good place to eat , its not as good as it was flet sorry for the one waitress barmaid running around doing loads to keep everyone happy

What a great afternoon we had in The Station. We popped in,on the off chance and there was a fantastic atmosphere with a ukulele festival. We ended up staying a lot longer than we had originally planned and Rae,Charmaine and the rest of the staff were fantastic. What a great visit and I would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great afternoon and the small plates were delicious.

It's the new place to be in the bay

Sports bar with a good atmosphere. Drinks reasonably priced. Lovely building with character. Everywhere clean even the toilets. Good darts board, pool table average. Entertainment of some description most nights. Plenty of TVs. Would visit again.

The waitress who was serving behind the taking orders basically everything was brilliant also the waitress that brought the food out my mixed grill was awful couldn't eat it, it was like it had been sat there all day we used to go there a lot when it was the other company food was beautiful then so disappointed will never go again unless its different chefs with good food that hasn't been there for hours a disgrace

Had high hopes with the station but unfortunatly they were not met... Hour wait for food and it was very disappointing. "Ultimate chicken tikka" was nothing ultimate, very small portion and the hunters chicken was a small bowl of chips with chicken peices on top with bbq sauce drizzled on.

Busy. Had to ask to have table wiped which they did straight away. Quite noisy, food arrived quite quickly.

A budget food place (cheap and cheerful - you get what you pay for type of place) that is pleasant enough (nice and warm in winter!) the staff are friendly. Although there are more classy places to visit in the area if you want to treat yourself

Large venue, large selection of food and drinks. Nice to see a great place like this in Colwyn Bay. They also do daily specials too so there's something for everyone.

my partner and i walked in Saturday lunch for a drink and something to eat, walked to the bar where the lady had just finished serving a customer and she walked into the back. stood there for almost 5 minutes, when she failed to return we walked out and went elsewhere. if i could give no stars then i would. very poor.

We had high hopes for this place when we walked in. It's bright and welcoming. Plenty of TVs showing sports, a pool table and a dart board. There were quite a few people as well. The Menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The first issue we had was the app. You can download the app and order direct from your table. However the app won't allow you to download it if your Google account (android) is not a UK one. So useless for tourists. No big issue when it's quiet. The next issue we had was when we ordered. We decided to go for the subs but I wasn't interested in having chips(fries), I was all full up of potatoes and just wanted a lighter side. I noticed the BBQ sub with Quorn had the option of nachos so my husband asked if I could get nachos, "nope" ok, what about a salad?. The bar guy went off to ask a manager and it was a total "no, chips only". Now I'm not one to make a fuss so I just took the chips but it seems totally strange to me not to offer an option. I mean if they gave me a salad, they'd actually make £3 off me as a salad is cheaper than chips on the menu! The sub was nothing to write home about either. The bread roll it was on appeared like a part baked roll that wasn't fully baked. It was white and very chewy(doughy, cloggy) still edible but not an enjoyable experience. This place is fine as a quick pitstop if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Went Easter sunday ,Very friendly staff and dog friendly unfortunately 40 mins wait for food we were there at 12:05 so not busy,although people after us told 1hr wait for food . When arrived everything over cooked and dry with the mash having a skin all over it.

Wow what an exceptional full english breakfast Paul cooked for us a couple of days ago. Totally the best breakfast!, We were looked after very well when notifying them we were coming with luggage they reserved us a gorgeous snug area to ourselves.. Very pleasant breakfast setting. Totally recommend for experience and excellent pricing.

Called in on a recommendation being as I am just visiting. One pint of tribute. Looked like canal water 💧. Had to explain twice why this wasn't drinkable. Are bar staff not trained to know what draught ale is supposed to look like.. A very brief visit.

Called in here today to play darts and have a chill dartboard is not in the best place as its next to a pool table other than that great pub friendly staff and very easy to access from the train station 👍 be back in the future Putting tables by the board is not a good idea maybe move them out the way I enjoyed my visit today ☺️

Great night had, diverse crowd, brilliant karaoke... which may I add I dont usually like... theirs was brilliant! First time up this neck of the woods and fun was had!
