Thai Rice in Central Bedfordshire

Got a few take aways and eaten once in the restaurant itself. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend.

Good authentic Thai food with a varied menu, pleasant friendly service with probably the best wine I have ever drunk in an asian restaurant. If you like it spicy try their jungle curry. Only downside is local parking which is at a premium so you may have to park away from the restaurant and walk.

Went there as a party of 3 for our wedding anniversary on friend's recommendation. Outstanding dinner! Piping hot and freshly cooked. Very good portion size even on the menu. Will be back!

Suggested by my brother in law who had been here several times but this was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely decor and atmosphere and as for the food, well it was superb, the best restaurant meal we’ve had in a long time. Lots of choice, the staff on hand to help with decisions, if required, all well presented and plentiful at a reasonable price. The chicken Pad Thai and beef massaman curry and shared starter platter would be our recommendation. We will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

This restaurant was recommended to me, so booked a table for husband's birthday. The food was first class as the service. The staff friendly and the food reasonably priced. Will be returning here.

A wonderful evening meal, probably the best Thai food we’ve eaten outside of Thailand (and we’ve been to many Thai restaurants). The staff were very friendly, decor is good and I would recommend the beef massaman & chicken pad thai

Just had a fantastic meal here. This was a celebration for my Mum's 80th. Service was excellent, had a warm welcome and the girls who served us were fantastic. We even found something for my fussy brother to eat and my sister and I finished off with cocktails. Will definitely return. PS: My Mum thoroughly enjoyed herself. THANK YOU (Khop Khun)

Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch from the small set menu where you can order as much as you want. The food was absolutely delicious and served by exceptionally friendly staff who were so attentive. Very good value and we will definitely return!

Booked a table ahead just in case for our wedding anniversary. Lovely attentive staff, the young lady explained to us the special of the day which was seabass fillet and Massaman lamb shank. We had mixed starters for 2, dumplings and crispy duck for starters Had various dishes for 4, too many to remember but I had the Pad Thai but not the English version as the lady explained so spicy and with cashew nuts, this was outstanding. Just this side of spicy without giving you tears so absolutely perfect and very tasty. We tried each others dishes with our friends and every mouthful was perfect! First time and definitely not the last! Top Thai place!

We had a takeaway from Thai Rice before and it was very nice so today we decided to try their Sunday 'buffet' menu. The service was 1st class and everything was spotlessly clean (even the toilets). But it was the food which really impressed us. We are vegetarians and there was plenty to choose from. We had their Thai spring rolls and sweetcorn fritters for starters and they were so crispy and delicious especially with the sweet chilli sauce. We then had the spicy drunken noodles and a tofu stir fry (can't remember the name though) and both were so full of flavour and the vegetables were lightly cooked to perfection. The drunken noodles were VERY spicy, but the lovely lady who served us advised that we just need to ask for them to be less spicy and the chef will put less spice in them. We will definitely be back! Everything was to perfection. If you want chop sticks, just ask.

I don’t know how it got the reviews it did. Tasteless watery slop.No authentic Thai favours. Expensive disappointing night out. Cannot recommend this place to eat. I gave one star for the smiling staff.

This restaurant has been a breath of fresh air. Clean and fresh food, wonderfully attentive and very Thai staff. The customer service is second to none and what I would expect from real Thais after many visits to Thailand over the years. They even sell Chang Beer. Had many takeaways from here and have never been disappointed. The food is uncomplicated, flavoursome and not full of greasy sauces like many other Far East Restaurants. Well worth a visit!

Six of we came here for dinner, and it did not disappoint. The waitresses were lovely and attentive. We had plenty of the time to order didn't feel rushed at all. We all had a starter and main, and the food was delicious. We could have been in Thailand! Highly recommend.

The Thai Rice Restaurant has an excellent authentic Thai menu and professional chefs. Each time I have ordered the staff are always polite and friendly. The dishes are beautifully prepared and I can particularly recommend the prawns and the massaman curry.
