Thai Licious in Belfast

We had another super meal here last Wednesday night, when it was absolutely freezing cold outside. About 3 degrees! But, we got a warm welcome and a lovely meal at Thai Licious yet again. Perfect in every way: great flavour, generous portions and a very charming lady serving us. What made it special was that she brought us 2 lovely milky coffees to warm us up just after we arrived- unasked and without any fuss. My husband had just been in hospital and after I told her that, she was so kind and sympathetic. Great wee restaurant, super Thai food, and genuine hospitality. If you want a good Thai meal in Belfast, this is the place to go. Thanks again, Thai Licious! We will be back...

Lovely Thai Restaurant on Botanic Avenue. Salt and Chili Chicken to start with the Beef Penang Curry for main. We all enjoyed our food and was served quickly however customer service could be better.

Really tasty food and friendly service. Salt and chilli chicken and garlic prawns to start, drunken rice (rice with chicken beef and prawns) and hot basil prawns for main. All really delicious, piping hot and didn’t wait very long for it to be brought to the table either. Highly recommended food.

Superb Thai restaurant. We went there last Friday evening and had a really great meal. Authentic Thai ingredients, large portions, well presented and loads of choice. The waiting staff too [particularly the young, dark-haired lady] were very welcoming and friendly on a cold winter's night. Recommend strongly, loved it...we will be back!

Lovely friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, food was excellent and nice portions. Had a groupon voucher and it was great value. Were really enjoying the night and were well impressed and then....we visited the toilets. A dirty bucket of water which wreaked was in the disabled toilets and the dust and dirt all over the other toilet meant it hadn't been cleaned in a long time...Very disappointed...Would have given 5 out of 5 but for the toilets

Diliveroo order to work. First time with this place and I won’t be ordering again. Salted chilli chicken was ok - just. But the true horror was the satay chicken. Came in a yellow water that was stone cold. The chicken was dodgy to say the least. It was like leather, dry and like straw. Sauce was hideous. Even throwing it in the bid was pure trauma. Never again. I called the restaurant & they apologised. They say they’ll refund the satay. Here’s hoping.

I came here for food on a girls night out, must say food was amazing and the fact it’s bring ur own drink was a big plus, staff where so friendly and polite, I would definitely be back again and would recommend it :)

If you don't like food you have come to the right place here!Four of us ate the flavourless food last night with no Thai atmosphere present at all.The only reason to go here is that you can bring your own drink -and bring plenty to get you through a totally forgettable evening. Ps the least the staff could do would be to clean the glass light shades-every one had dust an inch thick on them. One star-and that is cos it's BYO

If you are looking for good food with great ambience go to Thai Squares . Previously Thai Licious . Really delicious , huge portions and great service. Looking forward to go back again soon

My wife and I went to Thai Squares (Formely known as Thailicious) for our wedding anniversary. So we both decided to use our Groupon voucher which was a two course meal for two. We both have been to this restaurant many times before and the food has been really nice. But on this occasion it was a major let down from start to finish. My wife ordered vegetable spring rolls and they looked as if they were the ones you get in Iceland, as they were so small and tasteless. I ordered the chicken skewwers which tasted very bland and weren't very warn either. When our main course arrived, my wife had a Thai curry with rice and I had the Phad Thai which was a noodle dish which to me looked horrendous. Both our mains tasted ok, but not to the level that you would expect from a Thai restaurant. The watiress that was serving us didn't seem overly pleasant either. My wife and I will not be rushing back to this again in future. Ny advice is, go elsewhere if you want a decent Thai meal.

Went to Thai Lucious with my friends. It is a good place where you can bring your own wine! I had Thai green curry which was way too sweet but apart of that everything else was good. Size of the portion is just right and meals are reasonably priced.

I was flicking through Deliveroo and seen that Thailicious now take orders via Deliveroo - awesome!! I love this place so was super excited to order. Deliveroo said the waiting time was about 40 minutes but they made my order and it was delivered within 20 mins - perfect!! I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was sooooooooo good. I'm a sucker for pad thai but this has to be one of the nicest I've tried in Belfast - definitely will be ordering again!

I was in here with friends last week for a meal. When we went in we were shocked to be told we had to bring our own drink, however we wanted Thai so one of us went to the off licence across the road. The place wasn’t very clean, and the food by Thai standards was very poor. The only good about the place was the service and friendliness of the staff. Without that I’d of given a lower mark.

Recommended by friends to try,so we purchased a groupon voucher. This got us starters & a main each. £3 corkage on wine. We booked for a Friday night 6.30 & on arrival must fairly busy. Seated quickly with menus offered,jug of water & coooler for our wine. We ordered garlic& chilli prawns to start. They arrived on a bed of veg & tasted beautiful. Mains we both ordered chicken green curry. Food was really good ,excellent service & served with a smile. We have purchased another groupon for four & will be taking our friends.
