Great food pleasant staff A1 highly recommended

Great service, extremely tasty authentic Thai food. The dumplings were flavoursome and delicious, The fish dish and steak were so well seasoned and tasty and the egg fried rice was light and fluffy. Visited abit later on a Wednesday evening after 8 but the accommodation and hosting was brilliant and food was so fresh and made to order.

Super friendly efficient service. Food was amazing. We only had mains but the menu has starters and sides. I had the Jungle Curry. Best JC I have ever had. Nice and spicy but not overbearing. Could still taste the veg and lamb. My lovely wife had a chicken stir fry and it was delicately spiced and very light. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Was in the mood for Thai and got recommended by a friend, such a nice little restaurant can eat in or takeaway the staff were helpful and food was gorgeous would recommend to anyone!

The decor is old & traditional with some very ornate furniture. The tables have beautiful carvings under glass. The food is first class. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and this one is one of the best. The Thai green curry with duck is hands down one of the best meals I have ever eaten, loads of duck, juicy and slightly crispy in parts with skin on. The vegetables and other ingredients all extremely fresh and crunchy. The coconut milk sauce was sublime with lots of ginger and other fresh seasoning. Tom Yum soup for starters was freshly prepared and extremely tasty and satisfying. I have called here twice now when travelling along the M1 and will be stopping here again at any given chance. Absolutely superb. Free parking at the rear is an added bonus. My only criticism is the after meal service was somewhat slow and unattentive but this wasn't a big issue for us as we weren't in any major rush.

Why had I not discovered this restaurant before? This little gem is hidden in a row of shops almost opposite a large Aldi. It's quite small but very atmospheric. The tables and chairs are works of art. It obviously has a good TakeAway trade too. I was excited to see Tom Yum soup on the menu, we had the chicken version, and it was delicious but it was very hot in both senses of the word. You can request the same but with a lesser heat. This was an adventure in taste and we selected Kaeng Dang Prawn, Massaman Beef and Khaow Suey all of which were delicious. All were washed down with Singha Beer. The service was friendly and helped us thrugh the menu as it was our first visit to a Thai restaurant for many years. Will we go back? YES we will.

Ordered takeout due to family visiting and decided on Thai. We only realised it was back during Covid that we last visited and were a little ashamed of ourselves. The food was amazing, decent portions and affordable! It really is authentic restaurant quality Thai food available as a takeout too. Will have to dine in next time! Thanks so much!!

This is THE BEST Thai restaurant I have ever been to! The food is so tasty, fresh and great portion sizes. I went for the Massaman curry and the flavours were absolutely fantastic and I can’t rate their egg fried rice highly enough. The staff are very friendly and attentive *****

Great service. Prices increased by 60% since Covid, as per other places. Lovely food and healthier than a Chinese. Free car park around the back. Cash only for take-out but you get 10% discount.

The food was tasty. We had a takeaway. However, they offer 10% discount on orders over £25 for takeaway but the person taking our order insisted that it was only for cash and not card and did not budge on that. This contradicted their website where there was no mention of cash and left us wondering where our “cash” was going. The food might be good but that really spoiled it for us - such a shame when a restaurant promotes one thing and when you get there they change the rules on you.

I like this place alot and go whenever we come by the area, unfortunately this time they had no beef left.

Its deceptive as it doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is a very cosy restaurant. The food was lovely with lots of choice and the lady who served us was friendly and helpful, I couldn't fault it.

Phad Thai was wet and runny without grated peanuts but still had slight taste of authentic Phad Thai the Red Chicken Curry was more in the style of Chinese cornflour curry the chicken tasted like compress chicken but it was edible...However there was a warm welcome and the staff was very helpful

Amazing food, we had the vegi set menu for 2. We contemplated paying the price for it (for a take away), but no well worth it. I’d pay it again and again.

Ordered for collection food was amazing even the kids loved it will be back... its a shame the place never looks busy.

I have been a customer of Thai Legend for a number of years but lately I have been disappointed. My favourite is Pad Thai but lately the noodles have been over-cooked and the portion is smaller. I decided to try Green Curry (chicken) to see if it was as good as before but the green beans were totally inedible and the chicken was dry, appearing to have been pre-cooked and added to the sauce. Sorry but I won’t be returning.

Went New Years eve with family and had a fabulous evening and the food wasn't half bad!

deffo my favourite place to go, top tier food and staff, always a welcoming environment. If I ask for extra spice they always aim to please :) never been dissapointed yet and probably been coming here as much as the diet allows for 3-4 years now if not longer!

Place could do with a refurb & bit chilly but staff tried to get heaters warmer when freezing cold outside. Staff very friendly, food came quickly, food delicious & good value for money.

Low quality of food, ate food in car as hungry after a long day. Food was hot as just arrived on time but was bland to the point I could have chucked a load of pepper in a tin of soup and would have saved you your effort. Staff were polite and this is my 1st bad experience but still not going there again less I here some better reviews

Really gone down hill, me and my wife we’re the only ones in there, they have cut the menu choice in half, so choice is limited, the prices have increased dramatically, the only good thing to say is, the staff are lovely. We like to go here regularly, this time we felt ripped off, unfortunately we won’t be returning, which is a shame.

Fantastic meal, every one had different selections. Service was brilliant,shame no more customers, people really should try it!

Very disappointed with the meal, it was bland actually wasn’t edible. Some of my friends enjoyed their meals , but mine was poor. The drinks are very expensive £7.00 for a bottle of beer and £2.50 for a soda water ! The cutlery for the main course was passed along the table… most strange. Feel a bit sad for my friend whose birthday it was , maybe the normal chef wasn’t working as it was in a Monday. But that doesn’t excuse poor service or cold food.

After an organisational disaster on our part, we called in on-spec at 9.30 on New Year's Eve in the hope that they could accomodate 5 of us. After a brief discussion, they made up two tables for us. Drinks and food were served in good time by very pleasant staff. The food was beautifully presented and tasted divine. This may not have been the cheapest meal, but quality comes at a price! Will definitely be back.

One of the best Thai curries I have eaten and I have lived in London and Brighton, it was even better the last time than the time before! Delicious!!

I love Indian / Chinese / Italian / Greek in fact any countries food but variety is the spice of life. Tai food is very delicate and tasty and healthy and aromatic. This restaurant is cozy and romantic with nice subdued lighting. The tables are private and the surroundings are class creating an authentic Tai atmosphere. Ideal for taking a partner / friends for a romantic or friendly meal. Very relaxing calm atmosphere. As stated from previous comments there is free parking at the back. Also they serve delicious Tai beer! Please give it a go.

We ordered a £35 takeaway on Saturday 2nd January having previously had excellent takeaways and meals in the restaurant. Pad Num Mon Hoi pork was inedible. The Khao Ma-Proa contained no rice. We rang to complain and we were told by the young lady who took the call that a manager would be informed and that we would receive a call from the manager. So far no return call.

Tasty food, but terrible takeaway delivery service. It took them 2 and a half hours to deliver our order after being told it would take an hour (I had to phone them again to chase it up), then when it finally arrived we found (after the delivery driver had left) that they had delivered someone else's very different and much cheaper order to us. As a pescatarian there was not much that I could eat (though my wife is not, so was able to enjoy all of it) but we couldn't be bothered to wait yet another hour for them to redo our order. Still waiting for them to refund the difference between our order and what actually arrived, though it was promised to arrive the same evening. Shambolic, we won't use them again.

First time we have eaten here and i have to say WOW!, it was very nice. Every dish tasted incredible and was nice and fresh, generous portion sizes too. Will be ordering again for sure. The woman who served me on collection was so nice too. Thank you Thai Legend.

Doesn’t taste like Thai food at all

Food is always amazing from here. But... I placed my order at 6:50pm for delivery at 8:00pm. After 2 phone calls at 8:15 and 8:40, it eventually turned up at 8:50. While they were apologetic and gave us a couple of beers to say sorry, it’s really not great service.

In terms of food- it was good but I wish the vegetarian pad Thai did not have eggs in it. Delivery was a bit late the guy was so nice he waited for me by the staircase. Most of the time, I have to walk to find the delivery drivers.

The Larb aped not up to the usual standard but still ok. Overall a good meal

I have ordered from here previously and the food is normally great but today the food was like warm, my curry was a half portion and the flavours were barely there.

Food was lovely; tasty and lamb tender. Mild not particularly spicy despite being described as ‘spicy’ on the menu. Should consider even if you don’t like spicy food!

Food is always great. The Thai green is my favourite curry can’t beat it. The coconut rice is amazing baffling how someone can make rice so nicely. every dish we’ve tried has been nice always fresh & taisty & great service. From 18 Frederick 🙂

3 hour wait for food and wasnt delivered. had to cancel via just-eat. tried to call over 30 times and phone was always engaged. really sad at this level of service being a regular customer for years.

Ordered food on a Friday night. The app said one hour. The restaurant told me that they could deliver in 90 mins. The food turned up after two hours with no apology! The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Given the poor quality of the service, I don't think I will be using this restaurant again.

Ordered a takeaway for a cosy night in ,eat here before,& had takeaways but was very disappointed with the "special" that we ordered.We asked for a chicken dish ,but unfortunately got lamb which is not what we wanted or liked.At £10.95 for one dish was very disappointed, as we have the same dish at our local Chinese which is half the price & tastes much better.We checked our receipt & the girl who took the order wrote it down correctly so the mistake must of been down to the chef. Also had a Thai curry ,& side dishes which is always good here, that's why we return, but on this occasion , was left still feeling hungry, & not happy.
