Great little Thai restaurant that serves great food at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the lunch time menu which offers a good choice of freshly cooked dishes. This isn’t fancy dining, but go here for good Thai food and you will not be disappointed.

Delicious lunch! We had fish cakes, satay chicken, miso soup and ribs (best ever apparently) then we had Thai curries which were absolutely gorgeous. My son fancied noodles, the attentive staff helped him with recommendations. Would love to come back, decor is well themed with fish tanks and ponds, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend

Food was ok. Service a bit meh, not overly-friendly or attentive, but polite. I liked my massaman curry, not the best, but a long way from the worst as was the red curry. Nice ambience, although I would recommend booking, not walking-up as you'll end up sitting by the toilets.

The best Thai place I've ever been to! The food is as amazing as it should however don't feel fooled by outside look. The interior inside is cosy and welcoming, there are a few tables outside as well. The staff is just amazing! They are very friendly, very helpful, attentive and they make you feeling welcome. Great selection of mocktails which were super yummi. Not mentioning the food which look delicious but that's nothing comparing to hiw it taste! Amazing desserts too if you have any space left. The place is busy so please book a table to avoid a disappointment but if you're in the area and you love Thai food it should be a must for you to stop by.

We discovered this restaurant whilst visiting Rochester area recently. What a gem! Even though it was a Friday night, they managed to fit us in without a booking. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, piping hot and just the right size of portions. Shame we don't live nearer to be able to come more regularly!

Every time I eat here the food is superb, service is attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. We're so lucky to have this place in Ruskington. Keep up the great work.

Simply Wow. Had a takeaway meal from here on the off chance. The place was buzzing when collecting. The food when I got it home was absolutely delicious. The green Thai curry and Pad Thai were some of the best we have ever had. The prawns from the Thai starter were so big and meaty. All was top notch. Definitely coming again. Hopefully to sit down next time. Great find

My second visit to this fabulous Thai restaurant, albeit many years apart, and in my opinion it got even better. The sharing platter starter was excellent and each of the main course dishes were perfectly constructed, with just the right amount of heat. Service was on point, including upselling. Regretfully forgot to take pictures. We will return!

Nobody else in restaurant besides us. Would never go there again, the chicken rice noodles stir fry was awful. A whole plate of rice noodles with a few bits of really dry scrappy chicken and a few bits of crushed peanuts. It was so tasteless, told the waitress and didn’t eat much of it but there was no apology. Had a glass of wine and when the bill came I said couldn’t you even have taken the wine off the bill as couldn’t eat most of the food, but no reply at all, so had to pay. First and only time there.

We enjoyed the mixed starter for two, followed by cashew chicken and pad Thai with tofu. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is warm & welcoming with a great atmosphere, we highly recommend a visit.

Well after reading the good reviews and as we love Thai thought we would give it a try today, well shouldn’t haven’t bothered, the atmosphere was okay but the music to loud, the young staff were great but unfortunately the kitchen wasn’t good, most of the food was poor, crispy sea bass, well this served up in pieces not whole and (debatable if it was sea bass) was cooked in batter with thin sauce poured all over it so it was soggy battered pieces on the plate In all other Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to this was served whole and crispy as one would expect, if they are going put out food like this say so on the menu The green curry with chicken was far too sweet and the chicken overcooked and therefore dry. The side of rice noodles were swimming in oil therefore overall very disappointing. If your reading this post and thinking of visiting look for somewhere different The two stars for the food was for simple rice, soup and the starters were okay Not a good evening out for £78

Excellent food first rate service.

No website so booked over the phone. Friendly staff, shown straight to table on a busy night Thai red wine recommended and went well with the food. Sharing starter was freshly cooked and tasty. Mains of duck curry and beef in oyster sauce were delicious. Service was top notch, very attentive and smiles all round. Good value and good food.

Ona swift is it to relatives and wishing to repay their hospitality, treated them to lunch there food delicious. Best blackbean sauce I've had. Prices very reasonable. Thurs lunchtime so probably livelier of an evening. If in the area strongly reomment a visit.

This place is one of the best hidden gems in the area. The food is absolutely outstanding, served quickly in a very family run and friendly environment. Bit noisy but due to their popularity

What a wonderful place, we are so lucky to have such a genuine Thai restaurant run by such warm and welcoming people . You have to try the Thai basil chicken, the sticky ribs, in fact try everything !

An absolute Gem in the sticks. I decided to take my Mum here for my birthday and we were both very happy with the service. The food was top notch with an interesting and varied menu. We both went for something we hadn't had before and were not disappointed. We will be back.

Not even worth a star rating - Ordered starters and mains one of which was seabass, on arrival I took the fish from what looked like Part filleted (appreciate some bones may be there) and it was full of bones. Asked the server to return it and she promptly returned rudely and said we will not take it off your bill. Shocked and disappointed with no offer for menu swap or would you like anything else to eat she left I then had to ask for a clean fork to eat some noodles left on the table again with no plate. I appreciate some diners may treat you poorly but we are not them. We have come to this restaurant for birthday occasions for many years and again on this occasion for a 40th birthday but the service and food ruined it.

Thai Street Cafe is a hidden gem for lovers of Thai cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Street Cafe, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality and warmth from what seemed like the owner made me feel right at home. The food was a true culinary delight. We savored a prawn pad Thai that was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked prawns. The green curry and red curry were both rich and authentic, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing Thai spices. The side of jasmine steamed rice was the perfect accompaniment.

Love this place and it never fails to please when we are in this part of the country. Over the years never had a bad meal, dish or word. The staff are pleasant and accommodating and the food is fresh, vibrant and extremely consistent. Good value and charming surroundings, will keep coming back.

The food at Thai for two is outstanding, the flavours are authentic and give a true taste of Thailand. I fully recommend the Thai Samosas to start. The pad Thai was a beautiful accompaniment to the beef in oyster sauce. I absolutely over ordered but the staff kindly packed up what I had left and it tasted just as good the next day! Great food, great staff, what more can you ask for?

We were staying nearby and went in on a Thursday evening to see if they had a table for the following night. Phasiri welcomed us. She told us that they were fully booked for the next night but showed us a table that they reserve for walk ins, so we booked that table for 7.30 on the Friday. Friday night came, along with very heavy rain. We got to this wonderful restaurant, they must of had some cancelations due to the weather, and Phasiri gave us a really lovely table by the window. We now started to peruse the large menu. We chose the large mixed starter, which had a bit of everything, followed by a generous portion of crispy duck for 2 , mains were chicken and cashew nut, prawn pad Thai and coconut rice. All beautifuly served, pipping hot and very tasty. No room for dessert. Phasiri made the evening much more enjoyable. She is a real credit to the restaurant, but we must thank everyone for making my birthday treat so special.

I always have a wonderful experience at the Thai Street Café in Ruskington. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. I especially enjoyed the sugar cane pork belly, the spring rolls and the Pad Thai. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try something new. It’s a hidden gem in Ruskington!

The food and service here is absolutely incredible, and very reasonably priced at that. The only let down is that the tables are really unconfortable to sit at, they have cross-members that dig into your knees; by the time you've finished your food you're ready to leave. Don't let that overshadow the quality of the food though, the Thai Street Cafe is still one of the nicest restaurants we've eaten at

Lush - the best Thai in years!! Service is fabulous, and the food is out of this world! We had mixed the king feast for three, musaman, pad Thai and the other half had a spicy dish that was too hot for me to comment...
