Anya's Thai Food in Tonbridge and Malling

We have been going to Anya's Thai nights at the George and Dragon for years. It is the best thai food outside of Thailand. It is really authentic. The dishes have large amounts of high quality meat and fish (the prawns are always huge) and lots of fresh vegetables. The menu is diverse with a number of starters, soups, curries, sitr frys, noodles and salads. It is very reasonably priced and we just hope that one day Anya opens her own restaurant so we can have Thai 7 days a week!

Anya’s Thai is inside George & Dragon pub. It only serves up on a Thursday and Friday. The food was tasty, very authentic, fresh vegetables were to die for. Had the sharing platter for two to start £12 (bargain) it was very filling. Mains we had were both £8.75, mine was a chicken ginger dish it was lovely, my partner had a spicy chicken dish which was perfect not too hot as to spoil flavour. Two drinks cost £35 not bad for a great meal. Would go back and would recommend.

Anya's food is always first class. Highly recommended. The food is fresh and sourced locally. Her helpers are lovely (one is particularly cheeky!). Anya is in the george and Dragon in the High Street in Wrotham Kent on Thursdays and Fridays and you can book in advance. This is recommended as she is often very busy. She will do takeaways as well

We were looking forward to going to this Thai from reviews but we're really disappointed. The starters were commercial frozen food deep fried. We chose the tofu options of two different curries and the tofu was inedible chewy over cooked. The vegetables were nice. The rice was dry. It was totally over priced. Would not go back.

I wasn't expecting to eat on this 'Friday night out' but joined a friend in having a Thai meal, and was very glad that I did! The food was tasty and spicy and certainly 'hit the spot'!

Superb fresh food made to order and you can request more or less heat in dish selected great portion sizes and piping hot would recommend booking especially on a Friday evening

The pub is very quaint in the lovely village of Wrotham. Having read the positive reviews we decided to give it a go on a Friday evening. A thai beef salad and some prawn crackers was followed by red curry and another curry dish with chicken, the name of which escapes me. All the food was very tasty and plentiful. The prices were also very reasonable. If you enjoy Thai food then you won't go far wrong at Anya's. We will definitely return ( they also do takeaway )

The food is simply gorgeous. Its freshly cooked to order, full of flavour and you wont be disappointed. I am trying to find reasons to get back to the pub ona thursday or friday to sample some more. Its very reasonable and presented well. Keep it up Anya !

It was our first visit to the pub and to try the Thai menu, we will certainly go back. The food was very good different from the run of the mill Thai restaurants. It was certainly fresh but the wait was worth it. The pub itself is a friendly village pub and the with a good choice of beer that was very good

The food we had tonight was excellant,fresh,fragrant and spicy,but not over bearing. Everything was cooked from scratch so do expect to wait. We look forward to bringing friends with us another time.The pub was friendly and we enjoyed our night out.

The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and good. One slight downside was that a large party arrived for a birthday and were rather loud. But there was nothing the restaurant could do about this and in fairness they had warned us that there was a large party booked when we reserved our table. So all credit to them for that. Will definitely be going again.

The menu is wide ranging, something for everyone's taste. Noodles, curries, soups to die for. Some spicy, some not.We've been about half a dozen times, always had something different and always been delighted. You can tell it is fresh food, cooked to order.Last Thursday the restaurant was buzzing with a girl's night out and an international trade group, who have a monthly pub evening here.Average cost to us has been about ten pounds a head, which with the generous portions, sends you home feeling very well fed.
