Pretty good prices could be better.

Awful Tesco second time had to wait for over 15 minutes to buy something at the lottery desk while the attendant is on their own dealing with a price issue! They should have others to come on the desk and support to carry on serving, come on Tesco management sort it out!

This is for Tesco Kingsteignton Which I visited on 23rd August 24, I had a great experience, shopping there, the Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Karen Bailey who was working on the self check out section, she was friendly and helpful and down to earth, she'd waisted I believe in this, role and should be doing a better role higher up, I would highly recommend this store.

Can't fault a Tesco, apart from queuing at busy times, but that just shows it's popularity

They mostly have what we need. Today Was the second time I had to wait for the average sized trolley, but other than that, I appreciate the friendly and helpful staff the most.

Review of the home delivery department at Kingsteignton store. . I have just received a delivery and have to give lots of praise to my driver, Murray. I am recovering from surgery and unable to lift, stretch or bend at present. Murray brought all the shopping in and unpacked it for me. He was extremely friendly and helpful, a credit to the store. 19.04.24. It's a Tesco. Parking is fine but can be a bit chaotic during busy periods. The store is elevated from parking by about a metre so there is a slight ramped climb to the doors.

Nice clean tidy and well looked after store. Easy to find items and the trolley escalator was easy to use with the trolleys. Lots of choice.

The manager of the store is a jobsworth. Called security because she hadn’t checked my friends ID as we went to pay separately. Treated us like common criminals day 1 in Devon. We are well into our 20s and have bought many a bottle of wine and I’ve never had such a debacle in my life. The cashier looked like she was on the verge of tears from embarrassment

Nice big store well organised & stocked. Staff are always friendly & very helpful ! Large capacity for recycling plastic.

Decent enough supermarket that stocks just about most things

Very friendly staff, took special care of me when I was poorly in the shop. Tracey the cashier was so patient and kind, and she asked how I was feeling the following week. Also Becky the cashier who served me the first 2 times I went there, having only just moved to the area. Great staff all round.

Tesco Busy store Good size with lots of choice

Usually has everything that I need at a reasonable price.

Newton Abbot Tesco is not the biggest Tesco but it has everything we need. It's our preferred supermarket at present.

Always excellent prices and range of products

Not enough manned tills , I know they are putting in self service to cut dtajj levels and save money but you can't beat some of d to talk to thd other issue I'd at most tesco tgd self service don't take cash I been in quiet a few tesco wherd there is massive queues at thd manned check outs and no at the selfsevice it was in the news thd lady few weeks customers are using cash more card sales are declining

This Tesco is great, it has a costa, and the clothing section is great. Nice homewares and always has well stocked shelves

Big store, Cafe toilets. Good service.

It's a super market with lots of items to buy generally good to visit and often you will buy more than you wanted to when going in... But a good experience hence it is usually busy

It is a tonsillitis parking. The staff are overworked, so not very happy. Generally quite quick, but it is a supermarket. As long as you don't go on busy times it's not overwhelming

Good quality products at sensible prices. Plenty of parking for free! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They are Finest Kind! Car wash in car park - washed while you shop! Give it a Go?

Car parking s nightmare at the moment due to on going works. Spaces taken up by skips, tarmac machines etc Avoid until the work is done!!

Ugly eye sore of a building. The range is just like any other 'larger' Tesco store, with the addition of a mezzanine floor which contains the clothing and electronics. But what architect, on earth, got paid to design this!?! Massive, overbearing, dark grey, Anderson shelter of a monstrosity. Is it modernist? Does it blend in with the surroundings? If you were one of the team that got paid a lot of money to design this building, really think, what the answer to those questions is! Seriously.... Maybe it's in prep for world war III "all locals your nearest shelter is..."

Nice clean well run store, staff polite and very helpful. Shelves well stocked and all items available. Plenty of parking with I think 2 hours free. Handy location not far off the A380 & not far from the racecourse there.

*May 2023 Update* Pod Point / Tesco have added four Electric Vehicle charging spaces with 7kw charging ports that are well signed. These are located behind the Parent and Child parking bays on the left hand car park as you enter. ------------------------------------------- Busy big box Superstore with non food upstairs via a travelator so you can take your trolleys with you, Costa coffee greets you as you enter with the scan and go pick up adjacent, a huge range of food and drink as you would expect, generally fair prices with the odd bargain. Huge car park with Petrol station and Car wash on site.

Very limited selections compared to a Tesco extra.

Signage needs to be updated following store reorganisation.

My elderly dog had collapsed by the store .. security guys bought over fresh water x and helped call for a taxi. ALTHOUGH the taxi did NOT ! Allow dogs ! He got us home safely x .Thank you staff at tesco newton Abbott for rescuing our I'ldog xx Thank you to taxi firm for getting us home safe xx

Visited this store today with my brother as he wanted a new phone we were served by Peter who gave excellent customer service he was very patient and professional in his advice and we will certainly be using his service's again many thanks , 💯

Goos store but petrol is often overpriced

A bit of a mess due to building works - better to just close and get job done!

Visited here once after moving to the area. Will not be returning, it’s claustrophobic and horrible to walk round, the clothing etc was a shambles and not presented anywhere near as good as our last store, not a good experience at all. Parking was horrendous. Is it because that is the only Tesco extra here unless you travel to Exeter or Plymouth? Big shame.

Please be careful when parking your car at Tesco Newton Abbot. I recently caught two members of staff throwing a bouncy ball approximately 25 metres to each other. They where having a great time i’m sure; until it hit my car. When I informed the store management, I met Liz (a manager) who seemed to find the incident very amusing. Having asked Liz to find me the store manager many times, and being told he was in a meeting, She eventually walked all of 15 metres into Costa Coffee of all places. I can only assume it was a very important meeting being held in Costa Coffee and not in a meeting room up stairs. I wonder what would have happened if they caused any damage? Would they go into the store and admit it. I (and I'm sure you) very much doubt it. I'm still waiting on the Store Manager James to contact me regarding this. Once again please be careful when parking you car. Great store plenty of choices, clothes department excellent, store under going a complete new refit but looking great

If they shut any more manned tills, they might not need any staff at all...unless they employ some of them as security...the amount of stuff that must get nicked must be insane...no wonder the prices are so high compared to Lidl and Aldi

shame they've lost their meat and fish counters - good for fruit and veg, drinks, most dairy, most 'homewares'. NB they have tightened up on disabled parking - one must now display the details of one's blue badge, not just bung it on the dash

It was good. They have changed the entrance which makes it easier to get the key for the motorised shopper. Although they are upgrading their freezers and moving items around they have supplied "helpers" to guide you. Very satisfied.

Called in on way through Newton abbott to use loo and grab a few bits. Toilets were horrendous. Stinking, dirty, toilet paper all over sink area and bins full. Place looked like it had not been cleaned for days. Daily cleaning sheet on wall wasn't even signed as cleaned daily. Shop floor had stock around shop floor so hard to reach some areas without stretching. Some freezers out of order. Fresh bread products felt hard and not fresh(hot cross buns & doughnuts). Shame because this store is normally clean and tidy.

Great store always clean and staff are helpful. Last few times been going and there is no scanners as they need charging.

Rubbish in store management useless

Standard Tesco store however..... Car parking is limited so has a mezzanine level. This is fine going up in any vehicle, but unknown to anyone until you're up there, the corner to get down is extremely tight. Even in a LWB T5 it's a struggle. There needs to be signage, if you went up there in anything bigger it would be very difficult to get down

If they’re going to get rid of the cashier run tills - they need to get the “redundant” staff on the self checkouts authorising and sorting g out problems. An absolute shambles - even the staff are complaining . Head Office , listen to your clients ……

Whoever thought it was a good idea to get rid of half the tills needs stringing up.

good layout and great amount of choice regarding products. staff are lovely, lots of parking and the store itself is well kept. could use more self checkouts though!

Visited Tesco today and they have closed a load of their tills and replaced them with self-service robots. Each one has a camera and is there for facial recognition. It went from being a friendly store to having whopping great big ques and looking like something out of a George Orwell novel. Even though a lot of people were complaining (even the staff) it doesn't look like anything is going to be done about it.

I love Tescos, the only thing wrong is that you can't try on clothes in store anymore.

Went in today for first shop as new to the area. Very impressed with layout and everything I needed on my very long shopping list was available, made all the better by the discount I got using a Tesco club card. Check out lady was lovely and made us feel welcome to the area. Will definitely use this store again. Thank you.

Good parkingxand lots of grocery choices

Not the cheapest shop around, I saw a bottle of wine that I like and I realised it was £2-00 dearer than my usual shop.

Popped in here briefly to just get some top up shopping. However, there were was such a good range of products that we spent more than expected. Unlike my local supermarket, the shelves were all pretty full. The staff we spoke to were very friendly & helpful. This store is directly opposite Newton Abbot Racecourse so easy to find. There's plenty of free parking. There is a Costa here & a Timpson branch.

Went to Tesco Newto Abbot today,big place with just 3 tills open,they're pathetic excuse is ,not enough staff,people are crying out for work so hiring staff should be no problem. Aldi always open up a checkout when busy,I over heard several people complaining,.

Everything you need us here, clean, tidy, cashiers always very nice

This used to be the best local supermarket. Quality was good and prices were good. Recently however fresh veg and fresh fruit has been very iffy. Dont know what has happened buy may switch away soon. I know covid hasnt helped but come on others can do it right.

Very useful large supermarket in centre of the town, big car park. You can get almost everything in here from holiday bits, a weekly shop... Or even.... "Lucky Cat!!"

This is a pretty big store with a good range of products and some great offers. There is a Costa on site rather than a Tesco cafe. There's also a lot of parking and a petrol station at this site.

You can nearly always find what you want 👍👍.. And the staff are always nice and Friendly.👍👍😉😁😁

Dearest petrol around. Diesel is 5 pence a litre dearer than the nearest supermarket and between 2 and 4p dearer than the local garages. This seems to be a common trait at Tesco at the moment. Teignmouth tesco is 6p dearer than some local garages. Boycott Tesco they are ripping us off.

Useless service can create contracts ... but can't assist in any other issues you may have whats the point ?

It a great place' the staff are very pleasant, But honestly this building needs to be twice the size, because the area its in' has out grown Tesco, please invest in a large extension, fill the fishing lake in at the back and expand.

Clean and tidy plenty of produce helpful staff very easy to get to plenty of parking cash point outside could do with adding an extension for clothes and a cafe

Not too busy today and they still have the 1 way system in and out of the store, having said that we did see 2 Tesco staff completely ignoring this!! Perhaps open up fully or practice what you preach

Not crowded, fresh produce from all over the country. I was able to make a complete meal with locally sourced stuff only

Bought a large non food item, returned to store same day to return it unopened. Two senior staff behind customer service didn't want help saying that their customer service desk closed at 10pm! I asked when the desk is open, told that maybe 8:30am the next day to play it safe. Rather unhelpful! Just a warning for buying large items and customer service desk isn't open like the rest of the store.

Took my credit card payment for their car wash and then failed to deliver a wash - getting a refund proved so difficult I lost the will to live so decided to let Tesco steal my £6.50

Great place for shopping, coffee with friends. Helpful staff and aisles. Toilets are still open

Quieter than normal, most shelves well stocked

Shopped here as my regular food shop since I moved in my own house so around 17 years and still wouldn't change store. Customer service is good food great and great variety here to and prices are the best compared to other supermarkets

Visited this store on the Wed11th of Nov.had been sent my Tesco vouchers and double points card.I was disappointed that I could not go upstairs,I needed to buy a new kettle,mine had broke and get a hand blender too.A member of staff was blocking the bottom of the escalator and stopping people from going up.Last lockdown I was up there buying cookery stuff.Bought my food but headed over to Asda to pick up kettle and blender.

Wanted the petrol station not even open even though website says it is.

I enjoy shopping there plenty of space and choices. Helpful staff.
