Tesco Cafe in Oadby and Wigston

Tesco cafe is nice but the tables need a good clean and I mean a good clean

I moved to the area in May and after moving decided to go to Tesco for a quick easy lunch before our first food shop, we have more or less been weekly since. The staff are friendly, helpful and inviting and the food is great quality, especially considering the price (£2.50 for a child’s meal deal!)

The ladies running the cafe were friendly but the food is inedible, absolutely dire. Everything tastes like old fat. The worst food I have ever had.

Can't believe it .just been told that it will be an hours wait for a toasted teacake in an half empty cafe. Don't think tesco are bothered. With billions of pounds profits ☹️

I have an egg allergy, Asked for eggs to be removed from the meal and if they could be replaced with anything else. Told I have to pay extra to swap due to my allergy. Never had this my whole life...totally unfair. This isn't a preference of choice. I love eggs I just can't eat them. Lady who served me was lovely though.

called in for a coffee and a bacon roll to find that there was a 20 wait for my roll cafe was nearly empty I watched 5 Just eat delivery drivers collect food to deliver !! surely the priority should be your walk in sit down customers? who barely shopping in the store

I come every Wednesday the staff are lovely and friendly but there rushed off there feet why managers think its normal to have two lady's to run a whole cafe cook clean do the washing up and serve is beyond me 30 mins wait for food the que is now near the toilets gets some bloody staff to help theses woman out stop trying to penny pinch I will also be telling other people to avoid the cafe 5 stars to the lady's running it 0 for the mangers

Went in today for a breakfast wish I hadn't no egg extra sausage instead very poor sausages dried up like they being in a hotplate for hours bacon all dried up aswell and cold only the hash browns were hot

People are lovely, the food is cheap but the food is horrible, rock-hard sausages, ropey veg, very little fillings etc. Lattes are disgusting so maybe it's the milk

Don’t buy any cakes/muffins that are on display, unless your sure they’ve been under a suitable ‘food cover’ , as flies are sat feasting on them!!

Me and mum went for a breakfast really nice food. But as we was stood in the que you could see there was muffins the rest of the cakes had a cover over except from the muffins and they was all covered In flies so we told the lady at the till and she said she would bin them and then as we sat down I could see they hadn’t been binned and was still in display real bad hygiene.

So good.i was here with grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast Obliging and pleasant staff. Clean and generally great

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. Anything from a quick cuppa to a full meal.

Can't beat it really. Come to wigston Tesco cafe at least once a week and always the drink (coffee and tea) are spot on. My daughter loves their toasties and I've started eating here as well for lunch because the food is beaut. Staff are also very helpful / friendly! Just an added bonus

Food good but can get very busy at times

Excellent english breakfast. Last week grill was down so not so great, but we go every sunday its usually 9/10.

My husband and I have a breakfast every Saturday and the odd day inbetween, the food is always lovely and the staff are all lovely, happy and always smiling.

There is a good many on offer here at reasonable prices. The food preparation is excellent and the serving staff are very friendly and professional. The fact that it is part of the main supermarket is very handy. There is an excellent selection of fresh scones and cakes, sandwiches and hot food. The coffee is freshly ground and well prepared. Highly recommended.

Quick food, cheap price, mixed quality

This place has disabled as well as abled toilets. I like to come for a meal when mum cant cook, i had fish chips and peas here recently while she did the shopping on an o.a.p cart. It was bebeuatif. Thank tesco @ south wigston.
