Tesco Cafe in Fife

Tesco Cafe Cupar isnin a retail park that has other coffe shops and cafes nearby. It's on the left of the store as you enter it. It's not aesthetically pleasing and neither does it have a welcoming ambience, but it's perfectly functional and was quite clean. The lady serving on my visit, a dark haired young woman whose name began with A (I couldn't see the rest of the name tag) was excellent. I was made to feel welcome, the taking of my order was efficient and a question on types of scone was answered. She certainly made the visit for me. As for the black coffee and scone I'd ordered? The order was placed at the till and I was told it would be brought over. It then took a long 15 mins to get to my table as four other tables were also awaiting their teas and coffees and it appeared to be one prepping the tray whilst the other took the orders. The coffee was warm, not hot, and the scone was ok, a bit too crumbly as it broke up when I tried to apply some jam. So what, will I go again? A great welcome from a really nice member of staff, a functional cafe seating area, warm coffee and a not brill scone. I think I'll try somewhere else first before this cafe but if it's empty I might have a drink only.

Had the worst cafe breakfast I have ever had 2 eggs so uncooked they were jellyfish 2 sausages raw 2,rashers bacon raw 3 hash browns cooked well Beans Seriously this was a horrible breakfast

I dropped in to get a coffee to go from the cafe. This is a well stocked cafe with a good menu to choose from with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. The servers in the cafe and on the till were polite, prompt and well presented. There are customer toilets available (through the cafe). There are the usual Tesco goods in the store and a free ATM. You can get fuel here, too. ( Prices on tariff board in photo correct as of 24/10/2023)

Kevin was a star. He helped us greatly at the till. Great customer service. My wife had issues with her Tesco app and Kevin saved the day.

What's to say, it's a Tesco café and it serves decent food and drinks for a fair price.

Breakfast was ok selections of shopping products very limited and high prices- worst of all petrol prices rip off £1.42/3 every station supermarket including Tesco in Dundee is £1.32/5. It’s the captured audience in Cupar as Tesco has zero petrol competition. Shame on them as this area is a high volume of pensioner’s

I nipped in for breakfast before work as a treat and I wasn't happy with what I received. I usually go to Morrison's Cafe but thought I would try Tesco as it was closer and I could fill up with petrol. I ordered poached eggs on toast with an extra mushroom, two sausages and a bottle of water. My toast was extremely dry and had no butter on it. Even though it was advertised with butter. My poached eggs were extremely hard to the point they were one whole thing egg white and yolk. My hash brown was also dry with a dirty oil taste with it. However I can't fault the mushrooms and sausages they were both lovely. The price was £6:70 which was more expensive than the set breakfast as I had less on my plate!! The toilets were also dirty and hadn't been cleaned and it was only 9:30am!! Disappointed and won't be back!

Was in Tesco cafe this afternoon with my family and was disappointed. The soup was Luke warm at best , the sandwich I had was not sealed correctly, the tables were unclean and the cafe was cold to sit in , I won't be back for the cafe at least.

Me and my husband used to pop here for breakfast at least once a week. It was nothing special but it was great to come and get a cheap and cheerful breakfast after dropping he kids at school. The price made up for the food not being great. However the menu has recently changed and now you have to have the set breakfast or if you make up your own it's £1 an item. I am on a special diet so the set breakfast doesn't suit me. I came in today and I had 3 slices of bacon 2 eggs and mushrooms and my son had 3 sausages and 2 slices of burnt toast and 2 drinks and it came to £12.60! If we'd had 2 set breakfasts it would of been less than a tenner. We'll be avoiding Tesco cafe for a while until they change the menu back.

Stopped by for breakfast to find unclean floor, dirty tables and to add to the experience dirty cutlery in the cutlery stand and no available replacements!!! The white hot chocolate was served luke warm. The breakfast items were dry. Overall very disappointing experience.

Stop for bfast on my way home frequently, good quality for the price and friendly staff

Terrible food. I ordered breakfast and food served half cold with greasy rubbery (old) sausages.

Was in cafe this morning. Got all day breakfast cold. Only hot thing was egg. The tea was in a cup as big as a baby's poty so obviously it was going to get cold quickly. Very disappointed as otherwise Tesco is a good place to shop.

Very friendly superstore who know how to look after customers The whole store is very friendlty and they will help you with everything

Not impressed. Restaurant a little tired. Not a very good selection. Food not hot and took a while to come. Staff appeared not interested. Would not go again.

Always very helpful. They always go the extra mile for you to try and help you whilst shopping. The store has been moved around recently and the have been introducing more items which is good as tbis is one of the smaller stores.Well done to all.

Really well stocked store close to where we were staying,I knew I would be able to purchase the quality of food i am used to so well pleased there was a store close by

Pop in every day after the school run for a takeaway tea before work and the occasional cheeky breakfast. The staff are always very pleasant, when they see me coming they start to get my order ready.

El personal es excelente y muy servicial. La tienda en sí gracias a una imagen que es una mejora marginal en algunos aspectos, pero un diseño poco ilogico en patrones de las compras del supermercado establecido. La calidad de la carne fresca y verduras a la venta no es diferente a muchos otros supermercados pobre, pero más frecuentes problemas con frutas verduras enteras podrido podrido cuando ellos lleguen a casa. No volver porque no es rentable hacerlo ya que solo uso Tesco cuando tienes prisa. Comida a un precio reducido es un robo total. Reducido por cuánto? Sin duda, todavía hoy un beneficio grasa

Hemos visto este café pasando por al menos tres fases durante los últimos 10 años y no ha cambiado mucho. cuando en realidad se acabó, Tesco, prensa gratuita, pero este ya no es el caso ahora que tiene la franquicia de la costa. La comida es barata y alegre. Normalmente es bastante transitada pero inusual no poder conseguir un asiento. Una cosa a tener en cuenta es que, aunque el personal es muy amable, el servicio deja mucho que desear. Generalmente hay tres o cuatro personal de guardia pero incluso cuando hay una acumulación de clientes en la cola, no sólo será una persona tanto sirve comida y operación de la factura. Como resultado la espera para servir a menudo puede ser bastante largo y frustrante.

Stopped off here as I was feeling a bit peckish after a walk around a local park.I felt the food on offer to choose from was a bit basic. It could have perhaps been because it was around 3pm. Anyway, I settled for a ham and tomato sandwich and a drink.I did notice however that they did have gluten free carrot cake, which may be of interest to coeliacs. No problem at all with the service as the lady that served me was pleasant enough and had a friendly attitude.Although the café is within the Tesco store I was informed that it is neither owned by Tesco's or Costa.Would I return again? Perhaps I might give it another try nearer to lunchtime in the hope that they have more to choose from.
