Had a nice breakfast here this morning. We were served by Ian who was great. Drinks were a little slow however they were busy so we didn't mind waiting. Food came out fast and there was some errors but Ian was amazing and rectified it all really quickly. Ian is an asset to the team and made our experience great.

Not the ‘best brekkie in Irlam and Cadishead’, however it’s not that bad and deserves better reviews. I’d have given it 3.5. Cleanliness isn’t what it could be and the floor, tables and chairs needed a good clean. Maybe Tesco can spare a few quid from their £2.83billion profit last year to sort that. The windows were clean giving a lovely panoramic vista over the car park. Noted the old plate filler trick of putting the toast and butter on the main plate, not a side plate. Fried egg was ‘just’ cooked, white bread toast was fresh and fluffy and I was surprised by the Lincolnshire herby sausage, maybe not Tesco Finest quality, but it was fine. Bacon (2 slices) well cooked and you can’t go wrong microwaving baked beans. No problem to sit around and take my time to write a card (and this review) and wait for the rain to stop. Pot of tea with a little jug of milk made a cup and a half. My perfectly acceptable Brekkie with tea was £7.70, and the best thing I can say is … it’s closer than Spoons!

While the food here may not be the pinnacle of culinary excellence, and the prices aren't the most competitive, the convenience factor is undeniable. If you find yourself in need of both groceries and a coffee, this place serves its purpose. It's typically not bustling with crowds, and the staff are notably friendly, which adds a touch of warmth to the overall experience.

The food is horrible, purely horrible. Why I don’t know but I wouldn’t eat from here again. Plenty of other cafes etc within the irlam area to choose from. Avoid Shopping wise though is spot on

All ways understaffed that means a long wait and when food does arrive it's cold so bye bye. In future we will go some where else for food before we go shoping. This was mentioned to the area manager. A real shame.

One of my favourite Tesco cafes , I love the way care is taken over presentation , whether it’s just a humble slice of toast or a full meal, care is taken. Staff are friendly and helpful. Well done!

No quality consistency in the cooking of the food. I have been and had really nice food but also I have to say this is not the first time I have been and the food has been dried out and or o recooked and to top it off has arrived cold.staff are lovely and very professional however if the produce was to standard in the first place ..... Like I have said though on a positive I have also had some really lovely food especially the child's breakfast as I cannot eat a lot....X

My partner and I had an English breakfast each one Saturday morning before doing our shopping - not eaten here before. My partner had the large breakfast which was £6.90 and I had the medium breakfast which was £4.90. They were both cooked to order and tasted nice, especially the hash browns which were absolutely delicious. But for £6.90, the large breakfast only had 1 round of flabby toast and not even a hot drink included. Our sausages were really small and clearly the cheapest that Tesco sell. Service was fine and the cafe was clean. But for the price, we would not eat here again as a large and a medium breakfast with a tea and a coffee cost over £15, which for the overall quality and quantity of the food, was absolutely extortionate and just not worth it. My milk jug was also chipped and there was a dirty mark on my teapot. Sainsbury's cafe breakfasts are far superior and cost less.

I have seen this cafe in all in incantations (yep, I AM old!) Since the Tesco opened in fact. It has been good, rubbish , awful and much improved. Happily, it is now decent again. It had got awful, it used to smell of stale grease and the food left a lot to be desired. I avoided it for a long time. However couldn't fail to notice how much better it looked (& smelled!) when I was passing by to get to the loos. One day I weakened and went in! The coffee was lovely, much better than I could have imagined. They have changed the tables and chairs and even have "comfy" seats and a sofa. Now it needs to be pointed out this Iain a large supermarket, not a coffee shop so they are not the big squishy ones you might be thinking of. They are comfortable though. Since then I have been back about six or seven times. My husband (a man that truly loves his coffees) is a fan. We have occasionally had a cakes which were also nice. I have the staff to be really nice and the cafe is clean. My husband has also had breakfast there. As a vegetarian, he was very pleased with the quality of his food. To summarise, I don't think it is a place you would specifically travel to visit, however as a place for a snack or meal pre or after shopping it is well worth a visit given how much it has improved.

This place should be full given its attached to a major supermarket but it’s the poorest saddest excuse of a cafe you’ll see. The time management of staff is a joke your stood there waiting like a fool while they wander off and the facility they work in is quite amusing albeit new. I’ve seen better equipped dolls houses. There is no appeal whatsoever. Boring unappetising sandwiches and cold drinks stuck at the side in a fridge. Choose from the menu for the rest. But be patient and don’t expect to much. It’s currently 10.15 am the busiest breakfast period and only 6 people in the cafe and only 1 eating. I am a regular Tesco shopper and they are missing a massive opportunity.

We had a friend staying at ours, so at breakfast we went with 4 kids and two adults all vegetarian and they have big pictures of veg breakfast but on that day, staff was not in mood, full of attitude and anger:said we don't have anything vegetarian, not ready to give toast and coffee, just one sign:you all get lost!! Kids were told very good breakfast at tescos so won't get up, refused to do potato chips, scones, sandwich, yoghurt, cereal. They seemed anti kids and inhospitable. Ultimately we had to drag kids out, bought some yoghurt from tesco store and drove to makro.

Saturday morning, we fancied a cooked breakfast. I knew this Cafe has recently been refurbished I suggested to my son we would visit. The Cafe looked clean and bright, no food was on show. Food was ordered at the till, there was one person serving the drinks and food. we paid £16.17 for drinks and breakfast this seemed expensive for a supermarket cafe. After 25 mins no food had arrived I asked to speak to the Manager to complain. I was told they had not got enough staff on. I could not wait any longer , I asked for a refund. I was given a refund for the food that did not arrive although we still had to pay for the drinks. I will not be returning any time soon. Very disappointing.

We have ordered several times over the past few months and have really enjoyed every dish each time. We usually spend around £50-60 for 6 (4 adults & 2 children) as we like to have a balance of mild and hot curries, there is always leftovers. The dishes are extremely tasty, distinctly different and never oily. I do find some of the hotter dishes (chicken tikka chilli massala, jalfrezi) to be slightly hotter than other takeaways (just my personal opinion). Everything is so fresh and flavoursome. We would highly recommend the Fish Tikka Korai (spelling taken from the menu). It is packed with fish and flavour and is extremely moreish! The onion bhaji’s are always fresh and packed with herbs and spices - again, never oily. I could go on and talk about all the dishes. I know food, tasted and styled are preference but for taste, quality and portion size you can’t go wrong.
