Tesco Cafe in Coventry

by the time the food came,it was cold,so cold chips,cold peas,and cold fish,with soggy batter,not happy about it

I could see from the tracking that the driver went at least 4 miles in the wrong direction before turning around and, coming back passed the restaurant he picked food up from, to get to my home. He then went to the wrong street and walked to my house from where he had parked. By the time to food arrived it was stone cold, inedible and had to be thrown away. This is the poorest service I have ever received from Just Eat.

Missing item and ordered seasoned fries, but you sent normal fries with no seasoning at all! Son is autistic he won’t eat these, put claim in for refund on these and the missing breakfast batch. You need to seal the bags completely, the box on the one batch we received was open thankfully the food hadn’t fallen out, but we ordered two you sent one or a driver has sticky fingers?

As usual food was lovely but couldn't bring myself to have a desert as there was lots of flys landing on the uncovered products and all over the place in general. Sort it out be perfect then

We usually enjoy the vegan breakfast at this cafe but was very disappointed as the hash brown tasted disgusting felt like there was meat fat I had to spit it out and felt sick very disappointed.

I have been many times to this cafe and used to enjoy the fish and chips but lately since after Xmas the portions have decreased and the fish is over cooked the batter and fish inside is hard as if it was cooked earlier then put back in , please bring back the original as the cooking standard of this item has degraded.

I give a solid 8/10 for today's full English breakfast, would give higher but the egg was cooked a little too long but that was the only negative. The cafe itself has recently been refurbished and & place was clean. Overall a great experience and will be coming back.

Chorizo eggs. Yummy. Not really the place for a proper fill up on poor produce. Ok for your gran.

Advertised as being open until 20:00 but was closed at 18:00 on a monday . Hours need updating ! Poor show

Even though the site says that they’re open 8am- 8pm, Monday to Saturday , when I went on Wednesday they told me that they close at 6. As a result the only food available to me at the time were two toasties. Being a hot day I was looking forward to a cold ice drink, however due to their early closure, they had turned the ice machine off so the only option were either hot drinks or whatever there was in the fridge. Not impressed with the early closure for no apparent reason and lack of food. For a big brand retailer, they sell you short on the cafe.

Arrived at 13:04hrs..Gave order for 3 Meals ..Took our Hot Drinks to the table .But in a not busy Restaurant food took 40 mins arrived usually no longer than 15mins..After chasing up the 2 Fish and Chips plus Beef Burger it finally arrived although the Waitress banged the plates of the Food on the table not even apologizing... In the meantime our Tea had gone cold..Reluctant to visit again.

Poorly run today. One member of staff taking orders, running food orders to the kitchen and making the drinks meant a long and slow moving queue. Other staff stocking up which was unnecessary, plenty of stuff already on display. Jacket potato was over cooked and dry but acceptable for the money. Particularly noisy in the cafe area today not sure why but to be expected as sits within such a big store.

Had a brunch here while passing the time waiting for my car to be ready. Lovely space

£10 for a breakfast. And it definitely was not worth it. Under cooked food. Poor quality. Would never buy a breakfast from there

Very expensive and definitely not worth it food... unbelievably overpriced! For just a thin slice of halloumi I paid £1.25. I thought it is a joke. Me,my partner and my son we paid almost £30 for everything.. 3 eggs..3 slices of bread..some beans and some vegetables . Two halloumi slices( extremely thin ones, one hash brown ..one milkshake..a cappuccino and one espresso. With this money I go to a Chinese restaurant and I eat so much more and so much better. Here...No flavour.. food that is just heated in the microwave. And for the prices... It is definitely not worth it. I would not recommend. Go buy something in Tesco and eat it on a bench outside.

Really poor service only 1 person running the tables. Waited at the counter for several minutes - the assistant walked past with no acknowledgement and disappeared into the back. Another assistant walked through with a trolley full of groceries again no acknowledgement. The lady then appeared out of the back with a plate to give to a customer sat down. I asked if anyone else was serving as I had been waiting for several minutes? She responded with no I'm on my own and you haven't been waiting that long!!! What terrible customer service I walked out in disgust!

I ordered chicken burger with chips, halloumi burger with chips X3, caramel shortbread X4, and a honeycomb hot chocolate, only the caramel shortbread and hot chocolate arrived. Delivery driver was good though.

I have ordered the halloumi and avocado roll before today and was lovely it arrived with the top of the muffin missing and the food was so hard/dry it was completely inedible. Worst food I’ve ever ordered

All good apart from missing my iced latte drink ? Will I be getting a refund for the drink I payed for but never got

I had an amazing lunch at the cafe with my wife, mum and baby girl. Basically we sat down to feed the baby and ordered food and drinks. We thought let's try Tesco cafe for a change since they had a major decor and menu change. We ordered brie and cranberry toastie, Yorkshire pudding wrap (this was given with a gravy) and chorizo, egg avocado on sourdough toast and some chips on side. All good was super tasty, chips were piping hot. Star of our lunch was the sourdough toast, as this was the very first place that gave me 2 toast with eggs. And it was fabulous taste wise. At the end of the enjoyed the food quite a lot. Will visit again.

Didn't receive a drink and when opened my cake they sent completely wrong one, I ordered chocolate muffin and git sent blueberry and lemon, which me or my daughter won't eat

Appallingly slow service at the counter. The vegetarian sausages my friend ordered were raw and cold inside and obviously inedible. The egg yolks were hard, even though the advertising placards promise luscious soft eggs. Canned drinks extortionately priced.

Decided to have a family lunch whilst out shopping on a Sunday. My wife ordered a mozzarella, pesto and tomato foccacia and I had a southern fried chicken wrap. The cheese in my wife's meal was not mozzarella (apparently it tasted much stronger) and I had asked for my wrap to have no salad in it as I am not a fan, but it turned up with salad inside. I decided to just take it out but should have returned it. My wife also found an eyelash in her's. The Kids's pick 'n'mix meal for our daughter was perfect, but we packed that ourselves. Overall it wasn't the greatest experience for what should have been a cheap, nice meal out.

I think breakfast is overpriced for what it is. As once add on an 1 extra egg, 1 sausage and 1 bacon rasher that's an extra 2.85 Would be alot better if food was warmer when it comes to the table too.

Never got my stuff and it said delivered so driver either kept food or gave someone else when really ur drivers should ask what name it said on order

Had a late lunch from Tesco Cafe, food was decent, Fish and chips was nice, burger was worse than average, ordered Mac and cheese as kids meal, that felt over cooked from frozen. So I can rate a 6/10 for food. I liked the spacious ambience. I would rate 8/10 as a grocery store cafe ambience.

Small, cold, very badly slapped together breakfast, that turned up late. It's really not worth ordering in, if you have to cook it again. Wish I'd not bothered.

Delivery was late and food cold except beans in separate pot. the app stated waiting for driver for 30 mins or more. Halloumi was missing from the brunch. Latte was warm, not hot but enjoyed that . It’s just a shame food cold as would have been delicious if had come warm

As always it's a pleasure to use this cafe, I would love it if they added tomato to breakfast batches.

Had a breakfast and a bacon roll not that hard you would think.... The bacon was cold in the roll and very fatty so not a lot of bacon after fat taken off and the breakfast also was cold sent back...... Second time round the bacon, egg and beans still only warm so just rubbish. Dont expect a sorry but do expect a good breakfast as it wasn't even many people in. Can see the reason now.

Allergic to egg and asked for no egg and was delivered with egg so was u able to even touch it let alone eat it so paid nearly 25 for a bacon bap and 2 drinks ,,,,nor happy

Poor food , missing items , no contact number to call in regards to missing items ordered 2 milkshakes only received one but been charged for 2 also ordered chips which didn’t arrive either.

Food was cold, drink was room temp, so not worth money

£11 70 two breakfast batches and two lattes just because we required extra item in batch waited ages for them under cooked only one piece cutlery two people (really/ did point out didn't get other cutlery required overpriced undercooked to ling waiting time simple food items no way go Morrisons offering full English £2.75 at moment and piping hot with all cutlery need as help yourself terrible Tescod

We put a note on the have some changes on the vegan breakfast and they were completely ignored. The batch or baps just crumbled to pieces

Paid for extra bacon and it was forgotten, this is the second time it’s happened. However the food was lovely as always. Won’t be paying for any extras next time.

Ordered at 13:08, app states will be delivered by 13:25 - 1345. App states driver at restaurant pretty quickly.stays like that till about 14:25 then states driver on the way. Food was cold and so what the coffee. Will not be ordering again.

Very bad customer service and waiting time to order food was too long. Tables and cutlery didn't seem to be clean. And food was not served in a nice way (she just slammed the food on the table) and one order was forgotten. Never Ever Going Back!!

Raised above Tesco with a cosy atmosphere. There is provision made to entertain children at the table. There could be more comfortable seating though.
