Tesco Cafe in Swansea

Good price for food. Drinks are expensive. Nice atmosphere. Convenient ordering machines so rarely have to wait to order food. Always been quick service when I've been there.

This used to be a great little Tesco cafe until they took away the human servers and replaced it all with self order kiosks. So many old people visit these cafes, and they don't consider the detrimental impact this will have on the elderly community. Big corporations killing social interactions once more. Foods alright now. Just rather bring my business elsewhere for the most part.

Absolutely awful. Waited AGES for food so I politely asked where it was to be told they've had too many orders so can't fulfil orders. We left. Another time we took our coeliac child and there was nothing for her to eat as a meal. Considering it's in Tesco where you can buy lots of gluten free food you'd have thought they'd have lots of gluten free options. Terrible café avoid. You order on a screen Tyndrum you have to hunt staff to ask if mayonnaise can be taken off your burger only to find when it arrives it has mayonnaise in. Waited another 20 minutes for replacement. This cafe should be closed. Maybe let it out to a owners who know how to run a cafe

Half a coffee as who ever packed it, didn’t secure it! Happened twice now. Both times my breakfasts have been covered in coffee. Won’t order again from this store

missing 2x mango smoothies & 1x can of coke from our order, can't contact anyone amd expected to wait 7 days for a investigation/refund

Since the renovation it's gone from a cosy cafe to a clinical hospital canteen with soulless decor and harsh lighting. Self service kiosks have taken the atmosphere out of the cafe and you now have zero staff interaction. You are unable to say to the machine that you don't want butter on your toast for instance. Ive also seen the 'regulars' older people stop visiting as alot of the time it would be just to talk to another person, not to use an intimidating self service machine.

The fried breakfast was dry with no taste, the knife was bending trying to cut the bacon which tasted like cardboard. The food appeared to be cooked hours earlier. The cafe interior is like a factory or warehouse with pipework and electrics all exposed. It's changed .completely with no warmth or atmosphere. I will not eat there again.

A nice modern Cafe in Tesco, with good decor and atmosphere. You now order through the self order kiosks on display as you walk into the cafe which makes it easier and quicker to order. Once ordered you can pick a table and your order will be brought to you. The cafe is clean and smart but I did notice the floor was dirty under some of the tables and some of the soft seating has bits of food on it. Other than than the cafe in general is very good. I recommend the Chicken Strips and Chicken Burger. If you are shopping at Tesco and want something to eat and drink their cafe is a good choice.

I ordered the breakfast and it has arrived with no egg!!

Eggs wasn’t cooked properly hash brown soaking in grease and soggy

Food tasted good, but I was missing 1 sausage and 1 bacon from the breakfast.

Food tasted great and arrived still hot. Excellent service.

Can't put lower than one star unfortunately. But in a nut shell awful. Tables were stinking and floor was covered in food, didn’t think much as over heard the customer in-front of myself being told by person on till that it “wasn’t there problem” and they “weren’t a cleaner”. Anyway, continued to order my food and after eventually finding a table that wasn’t smeared in sauce or empty plates, went to have a cup of tea and noticed food remains floating in the cup, grim. Food arrived roughly 4 minutes after ordering (quick service) but unfortunately looked like it had been chargrilled. Went to use the cutlery and noticed food stuck to the fork, knife and tea spoon..asked for clean cutlery and received a set that were in fact, worse. At this point the likelihood of getting clean cutlery seemed very unlikely, so gave up with the whole idea and requested a refund. Staff were in no way apologetic and seemed annoyed at the fact I complained about being given dirty cutlery and cups? Again, I was told that they weren’t cleaners, so again, explained that the cleanliness of the floor wasn’t the issue (despite the literal toe nail clippings on the floor), that the state on the cutlery was my issue- to which I was told “well we haven’t had soap to wash them in all day” !!!I’m not sure that meets food hygiene standards.. Never again. Avoid at all costs!

Went to the café with my kids, it was a mixed bag so I will start with the negatives, They forgot half our order, I got 11 chips, and the Eggs were honestly the worst I have EVER had, and I like eggs, they were completely burnt on the bottom and cut like rubber, the yolk was shrived and completely dry, teeth could not get through it, we all left them. on the plus side, what chips I did get (chunky chips) were lovely, and the beans were heated up nicely, not over cooked, the staff did handle my missing food well (I know it does happen) but we all left hungry, it was cheap and small, I know there are cutbacks to be made, but honestly, I would rather it cost a quid or two more and get a meal, not a snack, They have also redone the café moving the till from the back to the right hand side (was possibly done a while ago but I don't come here too often) and there was no clear in/out so the pathing was bad, someone was paid to come up with that, I have done internal designs and my kids came up with better ideas than that. so as I said, a mixed bag, but I cant see us using that again just for chips.

Nice quality of food, reasonably priced with a varied menu. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Cleanliness of cafe is of a high standard

Food cold due to driver. Delivery time kept changing once food was with driver. 5min away became 15 minutes

Excellent quality food and superbly securely packaged. Coffee so well packaged not a drop of spillage.

Amazing quality. All there. Nice and very hot. Even though they had no chocolate muffins, they substituted in a chocolate cake which was awesome.

The fish and chips is oddly perfect who would’ve thought

Long wait in queue. Toast was not toasted. Hard egg and barely lukewarm food.

Food quality was excellent. Could just have better toast. Sausages, bacon, tomatoes, hashbrowns all of really nice. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that the drinks part of the order has been missing.

Paid for extra bacon, didn't get it, the toast in both meals was stone cold, hard and had no butter on so had to add that myself as no butter included either and it was inedible. One breakfast was completely cold, the other luke warm. Not happy with paying nearly £20 for 2 breakfasts that weren't great sorry 😔 really disappointed, especially as the store isn't far from my home to be cold.

I’ve had food in the cafe, and it’s always been lovely, so decided to have a delivery. Food was cold on delivery, and 15 mins early. Requested a 12 o clock delivery time but it arrived at 11.40. Delivery man was very polite though.

Didn’t even get it delivered to the wrong address used the last of my money on it and now I won’t get a refund because you delivered it to the wrong place so thank you very much you arss whole drivers

Had a breakfast there yesterday with my partner it was awful! The sausages were absolutely vile, when we asked whether they were vegan sausages or quorn we were assured they were not, not that we needed somebody to confirm it as they certainly wasn't proper sausage! Never tasted anything like it in my life, the texture was like a hotdog sausage but white in colour with one grill mark on it! The egg was raw and overall a disgusting breakfast, the place needs a good scrub aswell! Safe to say I would never step foot in there again 🤢🤮

The food was not good quality the mash was not real potato and the portions are small and not with paying £5.45 my parents food was ok the gravy as like jelly but the pie was good won't be getting food form here any time soon I'll be only getting drinks.
