Awful reaheated breakfast covered in liquid smoke, was expensive for a supermarket breakfast! Staff seem nice tho

I didn’t even want to give this 1 star - the food is beyond “terrible”. The only saving grace was the politeness of the staff who quite frankly just seemed embarrassed. Firstly had to return a child’s macaroni cheese which was inedible - it was stodge in a bowl with no sign of cheese - it was for a 4 year old who couldn’t swallow the first mouthful. Don’t get me started on the sweetcorn and baked beans, obviously microwaved to destruction. Did get this macaroni changed with the remark from you own staff of “it really doesn’t have a good reputation”. Then the 2 adult meals of a simple cheese toasty and chips - burnt to a crisp with no sign of cheese. And the worst of all was paying for a side order of chips at £2.30 and being given 6 chips !!! At 40p per chip, I think we can agree that’s daylight robbery (let’s make that 5 chips though as one of those was rock hard too) . Needless to say, 3 kids and 2 adults left very hangry and nearly £30 lighter in the pocket!!! refund would be very appreciated!!

Popped in whole waiting for an eye test. Service is quite slow as they ate very little staffef however the girl working was working as fast as she can. Menu options they could have more of a range especially on the breakfast side of things

Im so dissappointed with my local Tesco. Once a month i meet with family in the cafe we have a coffee but recently started meeting for Breakfast. Im Vegan and over the last 2 months told No Vdgan breakfasts even though listed on menus and boards i asked why they could get some from store or i go and get them and ghey cook but told No. I went around store and all the items were available so WHY not available in Cafe. This is Appauling.

My fault really for not reading the menu properly But come on who puts scrambled egg bacon cheese peri peri and onion together it was disgusting the scrambled egg was just slop I didn't complain because I was in another Tesco Cafe the other week where I complained about the chunky chips being over cooked then replaced with under cooked chunky chips I received my money back for the chips which I had with toasted Paninis which where sloppy undercooked too Tuna and onion which was not advertised Manager said it is I said where it's not on the Menu also she made me feel like a liar pointless complaining to Tesco there not interested what are they going to do anyways give you a voucher to eat there again NO THANKS

both my wife and i had the breakfast food did come on time and it was hot very friendly staff yes i would go back

Tesco stairfoot barnsley bought breakfast waited 20 minutes and thought well at least it would be hot when it comes out as its not over busy. We'll what an assumption that was cold bacon cold sausage cold toast already finished my coffee when I took it back and asked if this was taken out of the fridge I was told do you want some more bacon I couldn't help but laugh and reply why is that all I've ordered. Then comes the 2nd attempt full breakfast again I think there microwave must be broken because that came out very quick and was still COLD I really don't know how they can do it . This was returned to them again and I asked for my money back this came but only the refund for the breakfast not the extras ordered. What an absolute shambles how about extra staff training in how to cook and customer care.

I've started to go once a week for breakfast I enjoy it that much. It's not a large breakfast but you can add items and swap out items if you want. It's also not greasy at all so perfect for me. We pay less than £14 for 2 breakfasts and 2 coffees, you can't beat that price (I've paid £9 for 2 coffees in other places). They sometimes get busy they but cope well. You get your coffee when you order so if you like it with your breakfast like me, just go back 5 minutes later and order your coffee. Never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes even when they're really busy.

My cappuccino and breakfast bap was lovely, Emma is amazing and has great customer service, friendly and polite. She does the best breakfast and cappuccino!

Popped in for coffee & lunch, ordered all day breakfast, finished coffee before food arrived, when it did arrive was luke warm,awful, another time had omelette, looked pre packed & was stone cold & like someone else reported, went for a coffee at 3 pm on a Sunday to be told they were closed,only food nice are chips,go to Sainsbury's now,food always well cooked & piping hot, also always pleasant service,don't even shop at Tesco now,go to Aldi then on to Sainsbury's if I want lunch,well worth driving across town !

The service here is terrible. I was served by a young lady, Leanne who seemed like she was being inconvenienced to have to serve me. Sorry love but you shouldn't work in retail if you can't serve your customers properly. An example of discraceful service.

Absolute shocking service and food. The service on the counter was slow. 2 people to do drinks which by the way were cold and horrid, and the food was discusting. Never again

Arrived at 5:15pm wanting hot food. Staff said they shut at 6pm so there was no hot food. Not sure why they were starting to close so early. Had to resort to cold sandwiches, not great. Overheard another customer ask for hot food, same reply, plus: "what I mean is I walk out of here at 6". Seriously? 5-6pm is the busiest time and great opportunity for business. We watched as the cakes were left out, the staff walked out, and a few other customers were left waiting for... no one to serve them. Management seems non existent; 6pm closing time should be for customers, not staff?!?! Disgraceful British work ethic.

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by our experience here. There was a reasonable display of cakes on offer which looked tempting enough. Hot food also available at prices other restaurants would struggle to match. I suppose horses for courses comes to mind....
