Tesco Cafe in Bedford

half my food was missing sausages under cooked i payed 14 pound for 2 breakfast to come half missing complelty ignored my order notes

Great sandwiches. I loved the taste and the ingredients.

Okay café but quite pricey for what you get. Tables look dirty even after they clean them.

First visit: "we're not serving food". Second visit: "we've run out of paninis". Third visit: "we've run out of wraps" and a 35 minute wait for someone to cook a slice of halloumi and put it in a bun.

Had a coffee while I waited for my car to be serviced so was there a while. Quite a few elderly people came in on their own, and I was very impressed with how friendly the staff were to them, taking the time to stop for a chat, bringing drinks over them if they couldn't manage to carry them, and generally checking in that they were ok.

The orders did not include the butter and all the breads on the 3 orders were dry.

Order delivered without the bread and the butter was melted and looked like oil

Take ages for your food to come and order a southern chicken wrap it covers in mayo and bbq and it fell apart in your hands ! Never ever come into this cafe again we'll I'm alive

Had some breakfast in tesco today. Mathew on the till was very nice n happy man. Had great experience.

We both had cheese and onion toasties, they were hardly toasted it was like eating bread dough. We saw other customers who had ordered the same that looked similar to ours. We will never use this cafe again nor will we recommend it. We usually go to Morrisons but for convenience this time went to Tesco, what a mistake that was.

Food is normally good from here but today it was cold.

The food turned up 45 mins late and was cold.

Had breakfast with the missus there. A couple of days ago,fry-up was AMAZING and the missus had advacado smash,which she enjoyed. Staff at the café were lovely as well. Cannot fault whatsoever. Well done Tesco cafe u did Well......🙂😊👍👍👍

I ordered an ultimate breakfast bap which is supposed to have egg bacon sausage and hashbrown. My bap arrived and was missing egg with no explanation

Excellent breakfast. Really can’t fault it. Food comes out nice and warm. Cost of food is also very reasonable. Staff are really good too.

We tried tesco bedford cafe, wow very disappointed, the wait was ridiculous,the girl on told was doing serving, orders and making drinks. Waited 20mins for food which was cold, tea was revolting,cold and served 20 before food . The cafe was dirty and unkempt so all in all can't see why they have a cafe apart from taking money for uneatable food. I saw four tables leave their meals so tesco made a lot of money for nothing today, well done tesco more money from your consumers. Thoroughly disappointed,avoid avoid avoid.

Never normally have a issue but today was awful!

Freezing cold, no syrup, very dry

Awful! It took over an hour to assign a driver. When the food did arrive it was freezing. No butter on the soggy toast or in the bag.

Wrong order delivered and driver would not take back, so had somebody elses meal and they obviously got mine.

Normally it’s really good but it turned up late and the food was cold. Also the “hot” drink I ordered seemed to have spilt and I only had a half cup with the rest down the side of it.

I went to Tesco cafe river field drive 2 Sundays in a row to be told food is a 30/45 minute wait cafe empty of customers

Missing the drink and all of the extra I paid for! Appalling rude driver! Almost fought the delivery driver he was so rude to my wife!

I asked for my egg to be well done, which it was. I also asked to swap the sausage for bacon but that didn't happen. Maybe they can't do swaps when ordering online? Food wasn't hot when it arrived but to be honest I don't mind as the weather is so hot. I will order delivery from here again.

The food was cold everything was cold

I have visited this cafe for a poached egg breakfast a few times over the last few months. On every occasion bar one the eggs were cooked to perfection . On one occasion the eggs were slightly less runny than I like but still very eatable. I have found the Latte served a little on the bitter side - but that might be to others liking.

Was late by 40 mins and when the food turned up it was cold. I normally buy this and normally lovely but todays order was stupid I’m not happy at all

The box my food came in was open. This deeply concerned me and I didn't eat my meal because of this. There was a sticker on the bag but if I could still put my hand in, so can anyone else. Disappointed

The second order from here. The first was good but missing the extra bacon ordered. This time everything was cold, and overcooked......even the beans were dry. Oh and the extra bacon that was paid for missing once again. Will not order again

Driver not wearing face covering and did not social distance.

Breakfast is great, and presented very well. We did however have an extra sausage missing from the order and no sauces sent. Would order again though and hope that it's right next time 👍

I popped in to grab a quick breakfast but at the Tesco cafe but couldn't make my mind up and, as a pensioner, was concerned re price. Jodie(Lawrence I think) was so kind, helpful and patient on a busy Saturday lunchtime. She gave me rrally good advice as to how to eat best and save money and was honest about the best food and portion size. She also gave ideas te veggie food. Talk about going the extra mile! This sort of staff member is worth their weight in gold and should be commensurately remunerated or be made cafe manager! She is clearly a very intelligent young woman. Well done, Jodie and Tesco for a great range of food and good quality but inexpensive. Jodie even made sure my meal of yummy mushrooms, spinach and poached egg was re heated for me because I let it go cold whilst taking a phone call! Good Covid 19 measures too, which Jodie and team reinforced. Mille grazie! Maggie C

Food was slower than normal but this was explained. The staff were fine but one had an argument with a customer who tried to seat his frail relative before ordering. Not clever to ban this in my opinion.

The café in tesco goldington has been revamped and refurbished. Now better than the old layout the interior as been freshened up with new table's and chairs and decor to match. staff are helpfull and frendly and food is cooked fresh to order

Waited 45 minutes for our food then when asked were it was had no recollection of our order . Tried to tell us we had been informed that jacket potatoes were no longer being served yet had been charged for it and had not been told we also had two hungry two year olds with us who had to wait over an hour for their lunch which had not been sent to the kitchen very disappointed will not be ever eating here again

Visited this café before and I would say it has improved massively. Recently refurbished and looking good. Somehow food still letting them down. Staff are friendly and organised than before. Looks like they have had some fresh face and training. Keep up the good work 🌟🌟🌟

The cafe was a new addition to the store. Menu was great, and staff were very organised. Toilets located close cafe. A great addition to the store, and very popular.

Since last year Tesco's cafe in Riverfield Drive has had an upgrade. Although I haven't been in to taste the products.

The food is reasonably priced, quickly served up and the quality is ok. It's not the best quality food around, but you wouldn't expect that from a supermarket cafe. For what it is, it's fine. Also, the staff have always been polite to me.

very disappointing food not up to scratch

Very poor. The jacket potato was barely warm. The topping was generous (tuna mayo) and at £3.50 that's good. But the salad garnish was definitely stale, limp and quite warm. Service was poor - and who was that man in a grey short-sleeved shirt (no uniform, apron or cap) behind the counter? Disappointing at 12.20 lunchtime on a weekday in an almost empty cafe.
