Visited with my husband and elderly mum. No one to one personal service anymore. Everything has to be ordered from a screen. Not difficult to do, but if you have a big family it takes a while to select. Can't ask for anything to be cooked a bit more like egg or bacon..the staff tell you they cant do anything. Just not impressed anymore. Staff walk about like a spare part. Shame as we have visited many times in past previously.

Took my granddaughter to cafe .she ordered macaroni and cheese with veg. Absolutely disgusting. What a total waste of money plus had to take back to get heated up. Never again. Very very dissatisfied. She did eat some chips.

We visited the cafe as part of our community session. The class consisted of 5 students with special needs who all find it difficult to access the community independently. We sat down at the cafe and had a drink. The students all had a babyccino. The lady who served us was very kind and understanding of the students needs. She added toppings on to the drinks and even gave the students a small gingerbread man each! She took into consideration one of the students allergies and ensured they were all catered for. We will most definitely be returning!

Went for a Breakfast and Big Breakfast this morning, and although the 2 members of staff working were friendly and polite, the quality of the breakfast items were quite frankly dismal. Black pudding slice was that rock hard i couldnt even cut into it with knife serrated edge. Bacon was dry and overcooked,as was 2 of the 3 sausages. Nowhere near the quality of tessco cafe foos that i get in my St.Neots Tesco Cafe. Will be last time i eat at Tescos Corby Cafe. Food overcooked it was unedible.

3 months ago I said “never again to this place”. Now I am here again and nothing has improved: dirty tables, previous customers foods not collected from the tables and ordering & getting lunch takes very long, long time - far too long. This cafeteria does not match even close to the rest of Tesco Corby quality. Please take actions to fix this - we often like to have lunch or dinner after shopping but with this low quality cafeteria we need to do also shopping elsewhere.

I have been coming to Tesco Extra cafe at Corby on a very regular basis for a couple of years now. The cafe is great most of the time with good service and a pretty good selection of food and drinks, all at reasonable prices. It's a good place for me to stop on my way home from work and chill for half an hour. Where it is let down however and more so I've noticed over the past 6 months is the state of the toilets. It seems every time I go to use these toilets there is something wrong, filthy on occasions, no toilet roll 3 times now, toilet roll holders which have been damaged for months, hand dryers that are useless. But worst of all, over the past 2 weeks there has been no soap in the dispensers. Today and yesterday I had to go to the disabled toilet to wash my hands, today though no soap in the disabled toilets either, but managed to wash them in the parent and baby changing room! I have seen a cleaner there regular, when she does move around with her cleaning/replen trolly she moves like a sloth, but unfortunately she is normally stood in the corner, opposite the photograph shop leaning on the trolly, texting or scrolling through her phone. Quite obviously she's being payed for doing nothing! Tesco Extra Corby and it's cafe is a great facility overall, let down by little attention to detail!

Catering for large numbers on a budget is not easy, but the staff do it well. The food is appetising and well presented by friendly cheerful staff. The tables are clean and well spaced making it easy for wheelchair users. The separate toilets are well looked after and the disabled is excellent. It may not be the first place you think of for a break, if not shopping in store, but there is no reason why not.

USED NEW CAFE TODAY NEVER AGAIN READ ON....... Coffee advertised at 125 yet for two cups of very poor weak coffee I was charged 4 pounds Menu is poor portions are small . Prices are favorable to owners bank balance only. Which judging by cafe users it wont be open long. Why exploit a new customer base...... Corby Council or pool manager has now barred you and your children from eating or drinking in a public run building...Oh yes they have....... Why because either they are stupid or the cafe is doing so poorly....that they need to force you to use it. Thats not a good idea dont youse the cafe on principle and eat and drink until you pop.....

So much potential, but sadly no where near reaching it. We visited with friends after a show at the Cube. The service is appallingly slow, lacking knowledge on the menu or availability. On two occasions the waitress had to come back to tell one of the party the food she’d chosen was not available, the first one wasn’t even stocked anymore but was still on the menu but no one told the service staff. Ordered drinks and it took the best part of 30 minutes for them to arrive. Ordered a large bottle of Proseccoto be told they only had small, then they found a large bottle, went to order a second one but they couldn’t find another one, they did still have it on the bill (was removed once requested). There is a good selection of food on the menu, all pretty much beige but we were expecting that. The food is basic, and was a bit overdone. There’s an interactive darts game, the lads added it to our bill but within minutes it stopped working. Apparently there was an interactive golf room there too which is now just used as a storage cupboard, again so much potential. If the team had a senior member of staff who takes pride in their work to improve standards and learn the hospitality trade from this place could do well. Hospitality is not easy but when done well, it can still thrive, especially in a prime location. Based on the service we had I’m not surprised there were very few people there at what should be the busiest time. I am usually a fairly generous tipper but we didn’t leave one at all, and that says a lot! We won’t be back which is a shame as we wanted to support an independent restaurant instead of Nando’s next door.
