Tesco Cafe in North Devon

Hash browns are cold and dripping in fat. Forgot baked beans

Food and drink luke warm........not due to the delivery driver who was here in no time!

Went to order at 1605, no hot food being done at all, no toasties, sandwiches or soup... Drinks and cakes only. Did opt to have one of the 2 'kids sandwiches' that were still in the chiller.... Only to find it was frozen in the middle still. Very poor service in general. Staff seemed more interested in cleaning to leave at 5. I know it normally closes at 5, but would have thought staff would have been given half hour to an hour after it closes to clean down. Shan't bother to go there again. Never been great in the past, tables full of dirty plates etc.

I ordered a vegetarian breakfast but ended up with a vegan one.

Really great communication from the driver when he was unable to locate me. Friendly on greeting and when handing over the food.

Waiting over an hour and a half to receive cold food… highly disappointed and had no way to call or cancel. Will never order again

Tables where covered in dirty dishes had to clear Tables myself

Wait for food went from 15mins upto 40mins just while paying, manager banging things telling staff off infront of customer's

Stopped here before getting the train to Exeter, thought it would be good as the other tescos seem to do really good breakfast. Came with my partner and another couple, ordered directly after eachother yet our food came out 20 minutes after theirs so they finished before we got ours. Took ages to come out in the first place too. I ordered an extra or bacon and hash brown, which was initially forgotten and when it did come out it was one hash brown and one very well done piece of bacon. At £1.20 per extra, I was expecting maybe 2 items of each but that’s fine, it was the fact it didn’t come out with it and was over cooked. Such a shame as I do enjoy the food at the other tescos but I will be avoiding this one and unfortunately not recommending, even though it could be so good as it is right next to the train station, such a shame.

Went in for Breakfast, for the little amount you get they half charge and arm & a leg. normal breakfast was £5.75 for 1 piece of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 hash browns, 1 slice of toast a some beans. places like Weatherspoon's for that price you get double that. service wasn't great, old lady behind the counter was miserable. We asked to add extras to our breakfast (at £1.25 a piece!) and she huffed under her breath because she didn't really understand how to work the till so she had to place our order onto the till then run into the kitchen to amend our order.

Would just like to say everything was right had no cream for hot choclet so put a noir and a free cake just for haveing no cream go the extra mile to keep customs happy

It tasted nice and delivery was good. But I did ask for no tomato chutney in the wrap and they still put it in. Staff may want to pay more attention to order notes!

Food was soggy and dripping with oil. Went straight in the bin

Not what I ordered I ordered the breakfast wrap and what I got was the breakfast items in a box with two bits of toast,they put butter in the box with the hot food so when I opened it it spilt all over my clothes,will not be ordering off them again and when tried to contact the store to complain couldn't get through very bad customer service .

The Fanta is missing and the food is cold! I am very unhappy with this order!

I will never dis a Wetherspoons breakfast again. This was absolutely disgusting. That’s a meal I’ll never get back… and you forgot the beans!

Hash brown missing from the order. Also, it was a vegan breakfast but they didn't send it with vegan spread.

Driver raj not wearing mask when delivering product. When asked he said there is no need anymore as he goes everywhere and not asked plus doesn’t want to buy them.

Always misses Atleast one item off your even thou paid for extra, wrote a note and they still missed something off yet again

They didn’t have all the items in my order, so I was contacted to see if I’d like to cancel the order or replace the items. A pleasant surprise, and excellent customer service! The food was hot and delicious, and the replacement items more than acceptable. Give Armand a raise!

Completely disgusted by service and quality !

Food delivered on time no proble.s with that but he order was missing two items in each order. Ordered two 'the breakfast' and both were missing the fried egg and ketchup sachet that we ordered.

The breakfast would have been lovely except the beans were put in with the breakfast and were not separated in the pot meaning the breakfast was soggy. Especially the toast. What a Shame. Maybe you need to consider a better way of delivering so we can receive the food as it should be.

Breakfast wrap wasn’t wrapped just folded so all fillings came out. Cold egg. Had previously and was lovely, quality not as good this time

Could’ve been warmer, but everything else was good.

Almost every single time I order a blueberry muffin it either doesn’t turn up or it turns up as a chocolate muffin.. £2 each time

Im shocked at how bad this food was. Paid almost £15 for not much more than a £2 sandwich filler!!! Poor quality and extremely poor value. Firstly, food was stone cold and hard!! Far from freshly cooked and vibrant. There was barely enough to put in a sandwich, despite me ordering extra!!! The egg was cold, and solid hard; the bacon was partly cooked and rock solid, the sausage was cheap and nasty and as for the dessert spoon of beans, they had been nuked in a microwave and arrived stone cold! Absolutely worst food you can get. As for the Frappe that I ordered ... it may have been full at point of collection, but when it arrived with me it was half a container of yuk!!! Never, ever again!!! Just Eat, if you actually care, you need to review the quality and value of what is actually being ‘churned out’ under your name. In a sentence .... ‘well overpriced cheap and nasty’

Didn’t get straws for our drinks and took 50 minutes to get here from when we ordered

Typical supermarket restraunt. Average food but always hot nice place for the weary shopper to rest up and charge their batteries.

Not as good as some but a typical supermarket restaurant with good simple food ideal for a quick snack.

Quick service and good value plain meals were the order of the day. The chicken ceaser sald and jacket potatoes were tasty and filling. The waitresses could not have been more helpful and were especially friendly. An oasis in Tesco whilst shopping.

We visited the cafe during a shopping trip in order to have an afternoon drink and snack. There was no-one at the counter to serve us and I immediately noticed that the majority of tables had not been cleared. There was a member of staff working in another area who called out to the back area that there was a customer. It took another call from him before the girl appeared. She tried to make the drinks, but was unable to make the machine work and after some time realised that the machine needed to have the tea bags emptied. She was clearly having a 'bad day' and seemed to have no motivation or manners whatsoever, not even looking customers in the face when serving. We eventually received our teacakes and drinks which were acceptable. Several customers arrived after us and all had the same bad service and had to wait for unacceptable times for simple food. The girl walked past the tables on several occasions but made no attempt to clear or wipe the dirty ones. The cafe is extremely draughty too!

For a large store could have been bigger. Staff efficient. I aim for the comfy bucket chairs at the end of cafe.

Staff are always happy and make a great Latte. But food availability sometimes restricted which is a shame.
