It's not a bad place to shop. I noticed they made fun of one customer

It's a supermarket cafe. Convenient but nothing special. It's not expensive, but portions are a bit on the small side. Staff are friendly and helpful but service is a bit slow.

Tasty toasties and panini. All served with smile. Food took 25 minutes to come but it was hot and tasty when it did and a good price.

Always pop in for a cup in for a cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich. The staff are always friendly and professional and there's no delay. Good value for money.

Popped in to the cafe every day this week to have a meal after working in the local school. The staff are very friendly and efficient, they also allowed my colleague to pick and choose what he wanted from the menu. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! Thanks Tesco!

Every time we visit Cardigan we treat ourselves to a Tesco breakfast before hitting the road home to London. Always delicious and hot with excellent choice served by lovely friendly staff. The coffee’s great too!

My wife and I were looking forward to lunch (we have never been here before)... we asked what was suitable for vegans? The (confused) assistant behind the counter said 'we can make you some toast with oil on it'... Wow... Is that really all Artisans has to offer vegans? I would have given no stars , but Google won't let me... UPDATE: Having seen the response from the owner (albeit 2 years later) and seeing the owners defensive and arrogant response to ANY negative reviews I definitely will not be returning... I assume there is still an absolute paucity of vegan options available? Other (far better) local cafes are available, where the management do not have such a high handed and dismissive attitude towards complaints. What happened to 'putting the customer first'? Or listening to complaints with a constructive and positive attitude? And having spoken to other locals, the food is not all that either.... and if you are unhappy with the food or service don't bother complaining as you will get short shrift. Clearly the management have taken a leaf out of the Basil Fawlty school of customer service...

This tea room actually closed. This is the main reason of my 1 star review. The train station took over the land in which the cafe was placed.

Went in on the off chance and didn’t have to book. Staff great and food was lovely and big portions. I had faggots and chips and my daughter’s pizza was huge. Not bad prices too. Will definitely be back.

Came in for a family lunch on a day out. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the food arrived in good time. It was decent and the portions were a good size. The katsu chicken burger is worth checking out.
