I Recently went to the cafe and ordered beans on toast ,only to be told they weren't doing hot food .i would hardly say a child's beans on toast is a hot meal .It was 13.00 in the afternoon so it wasn't like they were closing anytime soon. I ended up getting a kids ham sandwich which had a 3 day date on it ,indicating that it was made fresh that day ,not a chance it was solid it was probably made 3 days before .Needless to say i wont be visiting anytime soon .If the staff serving are not able to make beans on toast are they in the correct career.

Expensive, no free child meal so check your receipt. Shocking customer service there staff have no experience they didn’t know what they could serve we got told only sausage and bacon was left from breakfast and that was at 4:15pm. Serve my son vegetarian sausage even tho I asked for meat.

Bad service they were talking in the kitchen 40 min wait for a chip cob longest i have ever waited i use tesco cafe from Durham to penzance this is the one to close. I will be making a formal complaint when i go to others if there is a waiting time they say but they we're talking and laughing in the kitchen

The woman serving was very rude would not even give some ice for ice for a coke which was like warm the bacon was very overcooked I would definitely not recommend eating here at all

Brilliant service, they were nearly done for the day this Sunday Afternoon (21st June 22), couldn’t do enough for me, explaining that I were diabetic, certainly went that extra mile for me, top marks!

Went there for breakfast one morning and the security manager Dave Morris asked me if I'd like a bum and pinched my bum I'll be having my breakfast elsewhere in the future 😐

Beautiful new setting, really colourful and fresh. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We were taking up the kids eat free offer which is amazing I must say. All 3 kids well fed and watered. I had a jacket potato, plenty of filling and generous salad. My husband had a breakfast which was delicious and very hot. Very impressed and will be back.

Yes that's right, you read that a found a actual stone/small pebble in my jacket potato. If I had bitten hard it would of broke my tooth. I told the lady working there, she just said that's weird and did nothing! I was in a rush because I needed to go back to work, I work for the NHS and I was having dinner with my father. I called the complaint line, was told someone would call back and no one did. Absolutely disgusting service and no follow up. I'm going to go into store and speak to.them directly. I'm still in shock and think it's the worst experience I've ever had. Why would you even allow someone to leave a cafe without a refund or an apology. No call back from the store manager speaks volumes, awful.

Top Valley cafe. Waited 20mins in an almost empty cafe for poached eggs on toast. Toast was not buttered, toast was soggy and not toasted at all on one side, it was floppy and horrible. One egg was fine, the other was not cooked on the top, the egg white was not even white, it was slime. The cook came out and told me the eggs were cooked, he opened the egg with his finger to show that the yoke was cooked, ignoring the slime all over the top and on the toast. He asked if I wanted him to cook it again - well “no thank you”. He then asked what I wanted and I asked for a refund. The staff member did not accept that there was anything wrong with the food and offered no explanation for my extended wait. It really was of very poor quality, clearly cooked by someone with very low standards, I won’t be going there again.

It's had a long overdue face-lift (it really was an absolute hole before), but that's all that's changed. Service still slow, product average and if your orders in any way complicated, settle in a for a long wait.

Always shopping this store , 1st tried breakfast b4 buying daily . Limited choices, quality of foods really basic standard, suppose big store will with more nice Ingredients, but sorry , it was Not . low low than usual bar foods . Luckily social-distance table sitting was good .

What a dump. Dirty cutlery. Holders needed wiping out. Asked for lattee got normal coffee. Eggs cooked to order but assistant who looked of the age to know how to cook them just nice....frizzled the edges and yolks were hard boiled kind. And for nearly 20 quid....crap.

Living local have been here loads of times and always the same outcome, stop serving hot food at 2pm , always understaffed and orders wrong and slow , the bread we had was on its last day of sell by date and tasted stale (all cheap Tesco brands used, beans etc) all the tea pots haven’t been washed properly and the spout dirty as seen in pic, multi million pound company and they run their cafe like this , thumbs down!

I went to this restaurant for the 1st time this Friday for dinner with my partner, and the service of this place is THIS BAD that I have to leave a review about my experience: In general I feel I wasn't respected by the staff in this place: I didn't get all the service I am paying for, and I got YELLED at by the staff for nothing! Can you imaging the staff in a restaurant YELLING at their customers for not wanting to give up a service they should provide? I stayed clam for the entire time and I feel the NEED to publish this experience to everyone regarding this place. 1. When I went in to the restaurant, the staff is only repeatingly telling me to scan the code to order instead of putting me into a seat or anything. I am not very comfortable with using my phone to place the order, so I talked to the staff in the front desk if I can place an order there, or if they can help me to place an order instead. However, the staff VERY RUDELY telling me again to scan the barcode as "He is busy and don't have time to put the order down", and he pointed the barcode to me again and walked away 2. After I finially place the order by my phone (again this took me quite a while, as the internet was also really slow in the restaurant), on the screen it said the order was placed and I can pay after the meal. However, right after the order was in, the front desk staff was LITERALLY YEALLING at me to come over to pay, as if I am deaf or something. I questioned the staff that I should pay after my meal, and again he told me that "I am busy and you got to pay it anyways". I also asked him that given he got to sort the bill with me in the front desk anyways before me having my meal, why can't you just take my order instead of asking me to spend 10 minutes on me phone? Then he completely ignored my questions and walked away 3. Finally this argument dragged the attention of the manager. However, instead of helping to solve this comflict, it only come with more excuses and run arounds. The manager told me that "The ordering system is only available online and they can't take any offline orders", which is clearly a lie and nothing got solved in the end - her staff literally yealling at his customer and there is NO APOLOGIES or anything I am coming to this restaurant to paying for a service, and I think that helping the customer to take order is a part of the service they should provide. It is ture that I can willingly give up the right to take this service, but as I am not very comfortable with my phone, and they still force me to do it anyways and their VERY RUDE attitude is completely offputting. I really wise I have went somewhere else as my Friday night dinner is completely ruined :( The food was alright, but I don't have any mood to taste anymore after this arguement, I was so pissed and I just want to leave this place!

I ordered food from this papa johns, and they had trouble finding the house on the estate, instead of taking my help to verbally direct them and walk to them if they stayed in one place, instead the shop put the phone down on me, refused initially to connect me to the driver to direct them, and when i finally was put through to the driver 15 mins after they originally marked it as delivered, and when i was, and telling him the direction, he then put the phone down. Finally got the pizza, stone cold, after we had to go find the driver by foot and grab them ourselves. Absolutely awful service this time, we don't usually have a problem directing the drivers, but this time the customer service was truly awful.
