I order from here semi regularly and at this point it is my go to pizza place. The food is always delicious, and recalling my last several orders I cannot think of any issues I have had. The franchise owner is a great guy he is always friendly, along with the rest of the staff as well. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed delicious The Cypriot pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy and golden, while the fresh and vibrant toppings created a mouth-watering combination.

Just had pizza from arnold branch, pizza was too watery with lot of pizza sauce on the base…. After couple of slices it went in the bin and we just ordered Mcdonald now.

Ordered tonight as a treat, served by Kush (I apologise if I’ve spelt the gentleman’s name wrong). He was super friendly and the food was tasty and hot! Great place will use again!!

The food was delivered 35 minutes after being labelled 'delivered' on Just Eat and an item was missing. When a call was made to the restaurant asking about the late delivery, followed by a call chasing up the lost item, the person on the phone didn't seem to care and offered no help in contacting the driver while placing all the blame on him.

Worst papa johns you’ll visit, don’t speak to the manager. You’d be less irritated and more informed talking to your cat. Staff can’t seem to cut a £20 pizza 😂

This place was good, we used to be very loyal customers with papa johns at the top of our takeaway list. However the last few times we’ve had a BAD experience all round. Both food and service really not great. Hope they recover themselves, otherwise we will have to find a favourite takeaway elsewhere 👎🏻.

Not terrible, but they overdo it on the pizza sauce and barely even cut the pizza. This place is our local and we've bought a pizza-cutter just to cut the pizza that they don't. It's better than some of the other local pizza places, and they're usually relatively fast and friendly, but they let themselves down badly with the detail.

We placed an order at 16:00 and it took 1hr 20 minutes to arrive. We called the store and the staff member was rude to us and then put the phone down on me. Once calling back I was told I couldn’t make a complaint to the store (but the website said I had to do it via the store) and then once we started to eat our we saw that the BBQ sauce was out of date and the cookie was completely burnt. Contacted customer support but heard nothing back.

Wow what can I say 1 hour and 45 mins for delivery no update via email couldn't get through on the phone Drove over and the attitude was absolutely shocking and disgusting. Due to the attitude we will never use again or recommend Shame on you

As others have said don’t bother Took over 50 minutes for delivery When I called I was told the driver would be there in 5-10 minutes and he wasn’t When I called again I was told delivery can take from 45mins-1hr yet I did not see this information on the website & she did not say this in the first call saying it was on its way As others have said unacceptably long waits, spoke to staff member twice & manager who didn’t apologise & seemed to have a script like robots Customer service is non existent & the staff and manager’s attitude is poor Wouldn’t recommend & wouldn’t use again

Not impressed tonight, order took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive, my vegetarian calzone consisted of mainly cheese, and 3 olives. what on earth has happened! I had the same meal last week and it was delicious.

Disgusting, I ordered this at about 6/7 o clock. Delivery took half an hour and when it arrived it was Luke warm. The dough on my pizza was sweet and the garlic bread sticks were sweet and no flavour at all. I don’t recommend this place to people who like food with flavour!

This place is just so hit and miss, hence the inconsistent reviews. 83 orders over the past 3 years so I really have given them a good chance! Sometimes the pizza is delivered in a reasonable time and it's perfect, in fact absolutely amazing. Other times (sadly, a lot more times) it takes ages and/or it's cold and/or overcooked, or truly burnt (brownies sometimes burnt so bad they're like concrete), or they forget something or deliver the wrong thing. Phoning usually doesn't get you far. The app is nonsense, it'll tell you your pizza has been delivered half an hour or more before it actually is. Drivers always nice and friendly at least. But tonight's order was the last straw and there are too many bad experiences for me to want to use them again.

We ordered Papa John's for the first time almost a year ago from our local branch in Arnold (after we moved into this area). Ever since we have never ordered Pizza from anywhere else. Fresh and tasty pizzas , plenty of offers specially in the weekends and friendly and helpful staff makes a huge difference .

Good pizza place, when placing an order they always advise which is the best deal to get the lowest price for the order - they often have different special offers. We have ordered from here numerous times since it opened, they have got the order wrong a couple of times which means they don’t get the full five stars - but they do have nice grub!

I have been using this Papa Johns store for a good few months now for collection and a few deliveries. Found the food to be really nice and always hot and ready when collecting. Store staff have always been friendly. I use this outlet sometimes twice a week and not had any problems.

If you want cold, uncooked and an extremely delayed/late delivery even when preordering this is the store to choose! Arnold Papa John's, for all your money and time to be wasted. Pre ordered at 3pm for 19:30, turns up at 20:15 stone cold and the Potato Tots raw... Just for future reference - the app is automated it has no correlation to what is actually happening with your order.

Slow slow slow and cold. Doesn’t answer the phone. App marks the pizza as delivered a good 30m before it actually arrives (well over 90 minutes after ordering) Terrible

Ordered pizza that took longer than stated to arrive. Vegetarian pizza ordered was a meat pizza! Was told they would deliver another which would take 40 mins!! Monday night, work tomorrow, would b a bit late but not eaten all day so no option really. However 1hr and 30mins later, despite being told 29mins ago it would be with me any minute, still no pizza and everyone else has eaten! Waste of time! And money! Order from somewhere else!

Gave us dairy cheese when we ordered a vegan pizza (both of us allergic to dairy), gave us the wrong dips, gave us the wrong vegan Ben and Jerries ice cream, and wouldn't pick up the phone when calling.

Food took 90 minutes from ordering and arrived luke warm. We were lied to on the phone about how long it would be and they hung up on us. One pizza had the wrong topping and a side order was missing. We will never use them again.

Last night was the first time I'd ever eaten a Papa John's pizza. Where i was working, they were ordered at 1.15pm to be delivered at 8.15. Turned up at 9.05 with ridiculous reasons given, not entirely cold, but tasted horrible and really doughy. I've always heard terrible things about Papa John's but was interested if they were true......I'm just glad it didn't give us food poisoning!!! Will never order from Papa John's 😒

If you want to wait 1hr 20 mins for lukewarm pizza on rubbery crust then order from here. They didn't even slice the pizza I didn't want to complain and get a replacement with how long they take to deliver.

We ordered today from Papa John's..we usually order from elsewhere. We are do impressed with quality and taste of pizza that we are planning to now always order from here.the garlic bread tasted delicious

Called store to ask about my canceled order, he asked where I ordered from. I told him my street name and he told me stores cancelled my order since I hadn't put the address in. Completely ridiculous how will he recognise it's my order from my address if the address was not on the order? The order was also through Uber eats so the order will not complete without an address. Completely ridiculous. What a joke. Do not order from here.

Don’t bother! Ordered at 1715 was told it would be here between 1825 and 1845 finally turned up at 1920 and cold was told driver couldn’t find the address even after I gave specific instructions that a blind man could follow

Took a punt on this place in spite of the bad reviews. Regretted it. Pros: delivery within an hour, hot food. Cons: Pizza was chewey, very sparse topping. Tater tots were... wet? Jalepeno poppers were watery and the cheese they use is disgusting. The delivery driver was absolutely miserable and practically threw the order through my door. Delivery wasn't "contactless" despite what the website said. All in all, Papa Johns are more expensive and significantly worse than dominos.

First time ordering pizza from Papa John's - was almost put off by some of the negative reviews. Our experience was very positive, the pizza arrived very quickly and was piping hot, all the order was correct and the food was lovely. The delivery driver was polite and friendly - couldnt ask for more. Will order food from here again.

1 hour and 35 minutes for three pizzas to arrive. These chewy slices of rubber spoiled a family birthday. So expensive, so disgusting. Avoid.

Ordered a pizza online and couldn't got hold of the store after 2 hours. Phone kept saying busy and pizza never turned up. Need to ring customer service next week to get my money back. Keep well away!

Today waited over an hour and a half for delivery. Pizza not freshly cooked when arrived only kept luke warm. Unfortunately substandard food today but for the same price

we were warned of an hour and a half wait time however it was more like two and a half hours. On top of that the food was all cold and the potato tots tasted disgusting, they were hard and cold.

Order took 30 minutes longer to arrive and my all the meats had less toppings than a cheese and tomato. Wanted to give another chance but disappointed. Won't be ordering again. Back to the big D's

Hardly any toppings, pizza crust soggy and very bland. Order the mozzarella bacon wedges which were raw and inedible. Over priced horrendous food. None of it tastes nice. Poor quality food. STAY CLEAR! It made me feel really ill when tonight should have been a treat night! Yuck!

Delivered cold again, wrong pizza delivered, awful. Must be under rubbish management, at least the woman on the phone was kind and offered us a free pizza on next order. Sounded like she's used to these calls and tired of working under rubbish management.

A few months ago, I ordered a vegetarian pizza but was given a pizza with meat. But most recently it took 2 hours for my order of 2 pizzas to be delivered. In addition, I became quite poorly as a result so I am concerned about the contents of the pizza and the hygiene of the resturant. Would not recommend.

Absolutely ridiculous, pre ordered online at 5;00pm for delivery at 7:15, still sat here waiting at 8:15pm so I ring them up and the phone operator just says "It's on it's way" and then hangs up the phone. Disgusting.

Order pizza, garlic pizza bread and wedges. Waited an hour and rang to be told it would be here in 5 minutes. 20minutes later still not here. When it arrived it was warm. The garlic pizza bread was hard. Our pizza was wrong. It was half and half. Wanted onion on one half and got it on all. Not happy and won't be ordering again

2 cold pizzas 2 lots of cold & hard wedges no bottle of coke took 2 hours to deliver despite asap request. Rang to query after an hr was told be 10 minutes may as well have not bothered. £25 is a rip off & no apology nor a refund. never again nor recommend

Terrible service, lied to by operator accepting order with regards to lead time. Delivery driver turned up 20 mins late and had no change. Pizza cold. Driver had serious attitude. Do not order from these liars.

Ordered two Pizza's one veggie and one meat well surprise after 45 min wait got two meat. when spoke to what can be described as an idiot, advised that you'll have to wait another 45 mins for another - totally unacceptable. Thought I would treat my family with a pizza. I rang the West Bridgford store. They told me they did not deliver. Although they have delivered in the past. I ordered the Mexican pizza. There was far too much tomato base and it was not cooked thoroughly through. It was awful and chewy. I complained and manager says that I had to come and collect another one but unfortunately I had had a glass of wine and was not prepared to drive . his attitude was awful he did not care. Avoid West Bridgford. It is run by cowboys

For the last 20 years i have been a fan and loyal customer to Papa Johns even when before it was known perfect pizza chain prior to the take over. However on the 22nd December 2017 i found a huge black hair entwined amongst my toppings which has taken my custom since then else where on a permanent basis. Highly disappointed to no longer trust my favourite pizza chain..........😔 papa please wear hair nets and gloves for food prep!

Ordered the feed 4 for £20 deal. Delivery took around an hour which is slow compared to Pizza Hut and dominos. The driver calls me to say he is outside and can't find my house number, I attempt to direct him to my house which was a short distance up the road from where he was but he just kept repeating the same phrase back to me which was that he is outside. I had to get in my car and drive down to him and collect the pizza myself, I have never had to do that with a takeaway before. Also 2 dips we had ordered were missing. On the plus side, the pizza itself was very nice.

Awful store - over charged for pizza and refused to change the price. Made me feel uncomfortable in front of other customers and knew full well they were ripping me off and over cha thing on purpose. Will never return to this store - guy that takes the order is a patronising and unhelpful.

So I ordered 2 XXL Pizzas last Saturday evening and they were awful. There was more crust than actual pizza! you could clearly see where the pizza base has been pressed and where the crust should have been and the topping were at least a few inches in from that. If I wanted a smaller pizza I would have ordered one. I can understand that its busy on a Saturday but there was no excuse for it not being made properly! The toppings them selves are few and very lacklustre. I won't be returning.

Ordered The Works Pizza. It was really disappointing, very bland and tasteless. Won't be ordering anything again. Was a shame because I have had better.

Surprisingly good. A total convert from domino's. You can really taste the freshness off the pizza. Had the works pizza and absolutely loved it!
