Wonderful service, wonderful food, wonderful night. The lamb chops were the biggest, fatest, juiciest things you have ever seen. Loved the decor!

Genuinely, the best place I have ever been to for food. If you want great service, delicious food lovely environment and friendly staff, this is the place I recomend. They never fail to amaze me. Everything is always perfect to the tee!

We just discovered this place, such a good Turkish restaurant - highly recommend!! Great chargrilled meat and all the food is super nice but also really reasonable priced. I adore Cacik and this place had one of the nicest I’ve ever had and came with fresh, warm bread. Their authentic Turkish tea was also lovely. ❤️🍸

Had a wonderful meal at the Teras today, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. The meat was cooked absolutely deliciously! Would definitely come back again soon.

It was my first time here since it was under new management. The owner was really friendly, attentive, and very kind. The veggie food was really delicious. We even got some extras on the house, which is nice. I will definitely go back soon and highly recommend this place if you want to go somewhere where you are treated like more than a customer. They went above and beyond to make it a lovely experience.

Food was perfect, i never ate such a well-cooked, juicy lamb in my life, vegetables tasted better than from some supermarket, atmosphere is very Turkish, people should visit this place more. Owner is a great person, waiters are nice, overall - 10/10.

Teras has been under new management for 4 months and the change is wonderful. New decor is lovely and the food is wonderful. Beautifully presented, taste superb and excellent service. So happy to see it back and the new management really have hit the mark. Will definitely be going back on a regular basis now.

After a refurb and a change of owners/managers we tried out Teras and I am very glad we did! The food was delicious and plentiful and fresh. The service was impeccable and the new decor is really lovely. The price was very reasonable and we appreciated the complimentary Turkish tea and baklava.

The new management is amazing. We ordered hummus which came with hot sliced bread which was easy to dip into. For mains we ordered chicken donor kebab with generous rice and couscous accompanied by salad. Very filling and good value for money. The owner and waitress were so welcoming and down to earth and the service was amazing. They even got us turkish teas and baklava as complimentary and they were delicious. Honestly a very positive changeover from previous management and will be coming back here again!

Absolutely cracking meal yesterday with a big group. Have been many times before but they have had a changeover and fefurb so was sure if it would be as it was but did not disappoint. Yoghurt kebab (previously iskender) was fantastic and service was brilliant. Also gave us some free desserts they haven’t yet put on the menu. Looking forward to the next time!

Just been back after a long while and it seems there's been a lot of changes! The food was great before but really noticeable improvement. Delicious chicken doner with lovely crunchy salad. Staff were all lovely and welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed with nice chilled music. I enjoyed my meal alone but could see couples having a nice time... I'll be back!

I had a beautiful evening the customer service was excellent the manager was very polite and helpful. The assistant was very helpful and polite we had a great time even interacting was very exciting. The food was great and the salad was delicious 😋.

I went there with my wife for dinner last night. The atmosphere, the service and most importantly the food was delicious. So fresh, so tasty, it literally melted in our mouths. The new management seems to know what they are doing! 👏👏👏 I am happy that less than 1 mile away I have such a restaurant as an option and the prices for this food are not even high, which we all need :)

We’ve eaten in and ordered from Teras many times over the last few years and can safely say this is one of our favourite places to eat! Teras has excellent customer service and amazing food! Neshla is also very friendly and hospitable and can’t wait to order/visit again.

I had a delivery of a mixed grill and a lamb shish. I asked for del to be at 6.45 and the delivery was on the dot.

To be honest £56 for a chicken shish, moussaka, chips and Haloumi seems a bit steep. These are the kind of prices you pay in a restaurant with restaurant service! £9 for 4 small bits of Haloumi? £5 for a portion of standard chips without salt? The quality was okay and it arrived hot and in a timely manner but I would definitely not order again for that price no way!!!! Was expecting much better things.

Very good food with equally good service. Everything tasted fresh and the portion sizes were great too.

Ordered their delicious Adana with yogurt (see picture for description of chicken), and they sent lamb. Unfortunately they refuse outright to admit their mistake or refund. Prices have gone up , understandable, and I’ve continued to order because they’re a great loyal business but no longer. £26 pounds for a lamb dish we cannot eat and terrible customer service.

The Aubergine Napolitana was too oily and a very small portion

We ordered a sharing platter which is advertised as coming with a mixed salad, but we just got a huge tub of chopped lettuce with a few bits of cucumber. In the order notes I specifically asked for the salad to contain red cabbage tomato and carrot so it’s frustrating this was ignored. Turkish spreads are delicious because they have such nice accompaniments to the meat and rice, so it is such a shame they only do this in the restaurant, and not for takeaways.

I really like this little gem of a restaurant. Service is always good. And the food is always great. They are very welcoming, you can always call ahead and reserve a table, with no issues. If you love grilled food, this is the place to go. The food always fresh and hot off the grill. One of my favourite places to always go to.

There is nothing special about the food from here. They waiter here with black beard is very rude. He don’t know how to speak to the customer and get annoyed every time when I asked him about the dishes. I am not coming back here again

I recently went to buy a Halloumi-Rap and had an unfortunate encounter with a rather rude older gentleman who seemed quite arrogant. I asked him if they had 'sulgram,' an authentic Turkish spicy drink, and he said they did. When I inquired about its freshness, he unexpectedly started arguing with me. He insisted that no one in the entire UK makes fresh Sulgram, but I know that many authentic Turkish restaurants prepare it in-house. He seemed quite offended by my response. In the end, I took my food and left. The food was rather average, but I must say the sauces were quite nice. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. 🤧

Just ordered 1x Aubergine Napolitana, 1x Hummus Kavurma and 1x Mixed Shish with Salad for £34. The portions are realy smal and comparing the price is not worthed. I finished everything and Im still hungry!!! I am very disappointed and never going to place any order ever again. For that money I have never experience anything like this in my intire life, I assure you this is not going to happen again.

I’ve been ordering from Teras for a long time, the amount of meat you receive is getting smaller and smaller with the prices going up and up. You used to get the meat in a big aluminium tin with the rice and bulgar. Then they moved to plastic trays with the meat, rice and bulgar in separate compartments in the tray. The amount of meat reduced considerably. Now they fill the plastic tray with loads of rice, bulgar, salad and onion, and drop some meat over the top. It’s almost pointless ordering from them now. I get that it’s difficult for small businesses at the moment, but you’ve ruined your product.

Only 3 of 4 mains delivered. Restaurant was helpful, but too late to make up for JustEat delivery failure.

Great quality meal as ever. The Imam Biyildi was amazing! My only negative comment is I really enjoyed the salad I got previously which had red cabbage and carrots in but it seems to have been streamlined a bit with fewer veg in now.

I called the restaurant 70 minutes after ordering to find they were still waiting for a driver - despite the app informing me that driver was waiting at the restaurant. When the food arrived it was barely warm. I did not expect to pay £50 for food that is floppy and inedible.

Teras never fails to provide delicious, fresh food at considerably reasonable prices (£20 for a kebab and beer). I like to keep it simple with my chicken shish (which was divine) but other dishes being ordered by the tables nearby looked very tempting. A Wood Street classic.

Amazing food last night, We had Lahmacun The king prawn starter (my favourite) The liver starters. The sharing platter. Big portions . Couple of things tho , the main come out while we were still eating our starters I like to have break between meals . Next time I’ll state I would like a gap. .The restaurant was empty but still at to look out for the waitress for drinks etc . The menu says cocktails but they don’t do them . £5 for a 330 ml beer seems to expensive . The food made up the faults .

I originally wrote a 5 star review for them 2 years ago. Unfortunately I have now had to change it to 1 star. What use to be my favourite restaurant is now a restaurant I will probably never go to again. One time I was chewing and almost choked on a peice of clingfilm that was in the food. Another time the Ayran was off !! And 3rd and final straw was today when my aubergine tasted like pickles because of how much it had gone off. The lady just came out with a bowl of humus and said " yh sorry its off and we don't have anymore but here have this instead ". When the bill came they had not removed the item or comped it. The new waiter is very up and down with his moods and service and made me feel uncomfortable. Really upset about the decline In quality and service. This was my husband and I favourite restaurant. They even catered at our wedding.....such a shame.

The quality and portion size has drastically gone down over the last 12-18 months. The tray it comes in is literally just rice and salad. Hardly any meat at all.

The worst food i ever eaten.. Koffte was rubbery, chicken shish was rock hard, all bad, rice and bulgur stinky not fresh. My partener been sick since yesterday.

We came here for dinner at about 9.30pm. They had run out of all doners and adana so we could only order chicken shish and chicken Beyti. We came here before Covid a lot. We used to be welcomed by olives and then served bread with the starters. On this visit, none of those. We got bread with our mains but it was not that fresh. Falafel was super dry and mainly crust, not good. The chicken was good. We asked for a salad with no onion or cucumber due to food intolerances and we were told the salad is prepared in the morning and already mixed. We had to negotiate this point to get a separate salad. So, though the meat was good, everything else around the place, especially the service and general customer care is really poor. Not to be tried again.
