We went to this restaurant on our first night and have to say it was one of the best meals that we had during our weeks stay in Fethiye This restaurant specialises in meat but I had fish for a starter and that was equally amazing You choose your wine from their in-house wine cellar which is fantastic ( offering different price ranges to suit all budgets ) Dincer was a very good host Can’t recommend this place enough

My first visit to a proper turkish restaurant in London and the food is very yummy. We had a selection of grilled meats and fish, rice, vegetables and it was a very unique experience for me. YUM.

Worst experiance ever in my life not 1 but 3 rats I thew up when I saw them refused to pay won't touch it with a10'foot barge poll! Customer service so rude the manager swore at me and so embarrassing everyone saw. He told me I am not 'classed' as his customer cos I only spent £5.00 I was mortified!!! They should be shut down asap!

I have been to this restaurant countless times & the food is always pleasant, affordable & appetising. The restaurant itself is quite small & located very close to the shopping centre. I believe the management has changed because of the change in name etc. but I feel that there is not much of a difference, apart from a few tweaks in the menu. Their burgers are served with chips & are nice & enjoyable. Their family platter, I believe it's called, is very filling & delicious - it comes with a lot of meat & the portion size is good. Their lahmeçun is also delicious. I do enjoy snacking on their crispy bread thing that they always serve as a starter. In general, it is a small but cosy restaurant which sells delicious food.

I've been here twice and the food was good on both occasions but they need to sort out their hygiene rating as I am not sure I would've visited had I known they only got a 2! If they sort out their hygiene rating and maintain quality of food then they'll do well

Teras Grill Restaurant is located on Clements Road just off Ilford High Road and accessible via car and public transport. There is a multi storage car park available and at affordable prices. The reason I just don't know: if the restaurant is such a great place, why have they got just a mere 2* for food Hygiene Rating. It’s one of the worst ratings in Ilford. Surely a great place would work hard on hygiene. Overall the food I’ve eaten here is always well presented, and you’ll not leave here hungry. The Grilled Whole Sea Bream with rice and salad: the portion of rice is extremely stingy and the salad was less than a handful of lettuce leaves (It’s a good thing Turkish bread is provided in abundance). I’ve witnessed some of their hygiene practices, to include wiping a dirty oily knife used for the cooked meat, onto a dirty tea towel, then peeling an avocado with the knife. Resting an avocado on the chopping board used for cooked meats. It’s all about food meets hygiene if you choose to eat here. My advice to the Management is to train all your staff on food safety or find staff that knows about food safety.

Teras is a lovely restaurant with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very kind, friendly and attentive. My family and I ordered the mixed grill platters which is excellent value for money. The food is delicious and worth every penny. My brother is wheelchair bound and the staff were very accommodating in making him feel comfortable. Eating at Teras was definitely one of my best dining experiences and I will continue frequenting the restaurant for quality turkish food.

A friend and I visited Teras last week and have since decided it is our new hangout for whenever we are in Ilford. Planning to have a small meal we ended up leaving extremely satisfied and full, in part due to the free appetisers of bread, humus and salad, as well as the lovely main meals. I ordered the chicken beyti, which we were warned would take some time to prepare, and when arrived was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the chicken and avocado salad and we were both slightly apprehensive about the very big portions but somehow worked our way through! Although the food was amazing the best thing about Teras was the really lovely service. I have also been to the other newly opened Turkish restaurant however come back to Teras due to the attentive staff who are always letting you try new bits. We also ordered mint tea and had desserts, spending over two hours within the restaurant in which we were made to feel really welcome and loved. To sum it up, great food and wonderful service. Please check out, as they really deserve to be noticed!

This is a brilliant little place tucked away on the back streets of Ilford..just off the shopping precinct, opposite the old post office. They serve mouth watering kebabs in their sit down establishment along with takeaway...meze, houmous, you know the kind of thing....very friendly, attentive staff, nice atmosphere, delicious food..what more can you ask for. I can't wait for a return visit.

I am a seasoned customer of Kervan or Capitol in Edmonton, so I was so happy when I discovered this little gem in Ilford, the first couple times i went I was impressed with the decor, the quietness of the place and the manager a nice man called Deniz. This nice man welcomed us, made us feel at home, asked us to freely criticize the place in order to make improvements. We ordered the £21 special, a firm favourite of mine from Kervan or any other nice Turkish you go to, a bit similar to the Mixed Grill dish - when the platter came it looked tasty (in comparison to Kervan etc) the plate was size was defo smaller- the price at Kervan is a couple pounds more but far better) the platter contained rice (not the turkish thick rice but actually Basmati which I didnt think suited the dish, on top of this was Chicken Shish, Lamb Shish, a few lamb chops and a few ribs and one Adana Kebab, the kebabs were ok but the Adana was dry not like Kervan which is moist and tasty full of a buttery taste. The service is a bit slow, the salad, yoghurt, bread and drinks take forever to come even in quiet periods, I had to ask on several occasions for the bread which they cut into small slices for some unknown reason, they are defo a bit tight on their complimentary sauces and bread. The last time I went, which was last week, me and a friend took the risk and ordered the Special Platter thinking we could take the leftover home, the plate arrived a little bigger then the £21 but as it was priced £29 we thought it must be much better - prior to the platter arriving they brought 5 finger tubs of Houmous and some Sauces and Bread, we thought as we ordered the big one this must be the extra (different sauces) but alas no salad came to our table?? As soon as the platter came we got stuck in, but a few minutes later we noticed hard bits in our mouth, using a napkin I found out the hard bits were actually Cous Cous, it was STALE - I called the manager over who apologised and said he would sort us out next time, we had to leave half the platter there instead of taking it home. On top of all this they have removed the nice host Deniz and replaced him with someone else.Do not go to this place if you are looking for a great Turkish, pay a little more and go Edmonton or even that new one Shahan next to cinema.....

I discovered this new restaurant last week, and was truly mesmerized by the quality. I went during lunch with my friend after shopping at Westfield. The place is beautifully refurbished, service was great (we even got a free Turkish tea! Woop), but the meat quality was fabulous. My best friend is Turkish, so we eat at a lot of Turkish restaurants- this is definitely the best I have been to (Outside of Turkey!). Definitely recommend these, couldn't have been better. They even have a cool smoothie menu- HARIKA!
