Nestled in Leigh on sea we have truly a hidden gem. With great food, amazing service and fantastic prices I really was blown away. Leigh has a great coffee scene and for me Tea and Tiffin encompasses the very best of the local area. A perfect blend of a family friendly cafe whilst being able to cater for even the fanciest of coffee connoisseurs it can really do it all.

Popped by for lunch today, we both had sandwiches which were excellent. One with turkey and stuffing the other hot minted lamb. Really nice fresh bread cut thick with loads of filling. Both came with salad and crisps. The cafe is decorated really well and the two ladies who served us were really friendly. With two drinks as well it came to £14 which was great value. We will definitely be back!

Another new place and wasn’t disappointed. Menu caters for all and has anything from breakfasts, salads, jackets, sandwiches and more. Friend had a sausage sandwich was more like lunch came with crisps and garnish and I had the breakfast, eyed up other people’s choices and they looked fab too. Also spotted and Afternoon tea which I’m now going to try. Nice garden area and place was cosy. Prices were good and service was just lovely.

Came her for lunch today with adult daughter and grandson. We sat in the lovely, enclosed garden in the sun. I had coronation chicken - ALL homemade and plentiful! Delicieux! Daughter had full English breakfast, and grandson - sausage sandwich - and I MEAN sandwich - wow! All meals came with added touches - a few hand baked crisps, and salad touches. There is a good menu ranging from all day breakfasts, to soup, sandwiches, paninis, salads and jacket potatoes with healthy options such as avocado and poached eggs. Lesley (manageress) and her delightful assistant were so friendly and accommodating and we felt very valued as customers. A couple inside were enjoying afternoon tea, and I noticed the exquisitely laid table, with wreaths of silk roses adorning the table, a beauitful pink rosy teapot and dainty cups and saucers, along with a fine two-tier stand of goodies - home-made cakes! They looked like royalty! If you are looking for a very pleasant, and relaxed experience of eating out ( a huge treat for us!), then this is the place to visit! It is tiny but hey! who wants a lot of noise and scuffle and impersonal service when you can have this delightful place! AND I could have brought my dog! What more can you ask for?! It is within price range - ie not over the top prices and I would say - excellent value for money, so don't put your prices up please! ( Our bill was well under £20 for three of us) Thank you Lesley and Aya.

This is the best independent cage in Leigh! Good food, great service with very friendly owner and staff. I have visited several times now, and never disappointed. Forget the big players in Leigh and support this small, but perfect, independent cafe/bistro. Never mind the Broadway, head round the bends to Leivh Road and Tea and Tiffin!

I have been here three times in recent weeks. The baby friendly facilities are excellent and the staff accommodating to all your needs! The food is lovely. The service very quick and they are so welcoming! Yes it is small but weve never been turned away with our baby and pram! It has now become a regular place for us to visit on the weekends as a family. Cant wait to try their roast dinners and afternoon tea in the coming months!

My partner and I popped in here for an hour and a half after a long walk, it’s a cute and cosy little tea room that’s warm and inviting and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and provide quick service. I just had tea (a tasty pot!) but my other half had garlic mushrooms on toast, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The menu was good and varied and lots of nice sounding specials on the board too. We definitely plan on returning and trying some of those out! They also serve fresh milkshakes in various flavours. The couple in front of us had a roast dinner and crumble for dessert, they looked and smelled delicious and we could hear them raving about their food. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I didn’t sample the food myself and it’s a bit squashed in with the tables- ok if you both sit one side but we were by the door and had no option to sit the same side- the seats opposite were wedged against the table and the lady in front’s seat. If I could give 4.5 stars I would!

I held a surprise afternoon tea for my daughters 21st birthday at this venue. Really helpful, friendly staff, attention to detail, hospitality made this a memorable afternoon that will stay with us forever! The food variety catered for all dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian, excellent. The venue is extremely clean and well decorated. A beautiful quaint, garden too!! I would highly recommend this venue for events. Thank you, we will be back :-)

This is my second visit to this lovely café. Paul and Danielle were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, even though they were really busy. The food and drinks were excellent and nice and hot. The café is kept spotlessly clean and it the most enjoyable place for breakfast in the Broadway in my opinion. Frances

Great little cafe serving freshly cooked food made with a homely touch. Paul and Danni are great, and know what good food is and how it should be served. They seem to be very passionate about their business and this shows all the way through your visit.

A good option for healthy food. A few options to choose but not lots of variety. Try the hot beverages, they're good. Most of the food is gluten free and the juices are really good! Highly recommend

My disabled daughter came today , with her friend , to study her university work , was totally shocked and embarrassed by staff , who push her forced her out of her seat , so others could take her place , and the table had shown no sighs of being book , it's absolutely disgusting the way she was treated , I definitely won't be going there in the future, so will not my friends.

Party of 12 mature friends visited here on Saturday afternoon/evening. Were having a lovely time, great atmosphere, waitresses brilliant, spent a small fortune as this place isn't cheap. Then we had to deal with the owner's aggressive, rude behaviour, who decided it was time for us to leave as we weren't ordering drinks quickly enough. He has since had the audacity to accuse us of drug taking due to receiving a poor review. Benidict you should be ashamed of this accusation and should take a long look at you customer relations. We won't be coming back.

A nice micro pub within easy distance of Prittlewell, which I was visiting. Love pints of 5 Points Bitter on cask at the time; shame about the England football performance being shown on a big screen! 😱
