A fantastic experience in a very cosy cafe. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and it was surprisingly well priced. Looking forward to visiting again soon

Lovely ! First class lasagna made in house with a beautiful mixed salad and garlic bread. Old English, relaxed setting. Informal friendly and helpful service. We'll be back. First 5 stars anywhere in a long time.

What a lovely place to visit, everyone is so friendly and there is such a family atmosphere to the place. Food and drinks were all wonderfully prepared & presented and the waitress service was second to none. All in all I would recommend a visit and make sure you try the caramel brownie, it's scrumptious!

Been in today for brunch with my Mum. We had a lovely experience. We had a pot of tea and a decaf vanilla latte which was very nice. We then followed it with a bacon and mushroom Sandwich and I had a sausage and mushroom sandwich. The food was of excellent quality and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

Firstly our booked table by the window had been given to 2 regulars so don't bother booking, then we are put facing a wall, asked for tea with the teabag out so not strong & the teabag is left in the pot, then 45 minutes wait for overcooked mushrooms, uncooked tomatoes, non toasted toast, bacon & egg were ok, cost £20.00, most of the regulars only having coffee. Will not go back again as clearly only regulars are valued here !!

Great tea rooms. Tasty freshly cooked food. Great value for money. Nowhere better for coffee and delicious homemade cakes. Ange and her ladies are very efficient and very, very friendly. We recommend Tea on the Cobbles to all our friends.

We visited the tea on the cobbles after reading such good reviews, what a disappointment! Sandwiches over priced and at best average, jacket potatoes although large still very over priced.Pot of tea was very nice. But to be humiliated on our exit was unacceptable, upon exiting we were told in a very loud voice “is somebody paying!” This was so embarrassing as my father had only settled the bill bill five minutes earlier! A lot better places in Newport for tea and sandwiches.

We only popped in for a cup of tea and were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the door, out of the howling wind. The friendly waitress served our tea whilst we looked at the menu. We chose a bacon sandwich and toasted tea cake. Both arrived quickly, good size portions and delicious. Our tea was served in a pretty tea pot with china cups, which was plentiful and strong. Milk was provided in a china jug with sugar sachets if needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The tea room is small but delightful using quaint crockery. There was plenty of choice on the menu, plus specials board with more enticing treats for sale at the counter. Definitely worth another visit very soon, as we felt Covid safe. Thankyou

Stopped for lunch. We ate off the specials board, I had the fish finger sandwich and Mum had the homemade lasagne which was a good portion with salad and garlic bread which she said was delicious. Very friendly service. Loved the quaintness and decor. Will be coming again soon.

I love old fashioned tearooms and this one really looks the part. BIG pots of tea, good fresh salads and home made cakes .The staff were busy but still had time to make conversation, and to finish it off the bill was pleasantly small. Someone has to drop out of my top 10 to make way for Tea on the Cobbles.

I love visiting Tea on the Cobbles because I always get a smiling greeting, the Cakes are DELICIOUS as well as the homemade Soups. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and you can ask for changes to deishes, e.g. no Onion in the 'Leslie Sandwich', less bread, etc.

CLOSED as of Autumn 2023 the area has been turned into another 'room' for the community centre to hire/rent out. Part of the Community Centre - and as such run by volunteers. Currently generally open weekday mornings till about 1PM. Menu includes hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, crisps snacks and cake. In the summer months the Leegomery Community Garden alongside the building is home to veg and flowers grown by and for the community. Check community centre social media for updates and changes The Woodland Tea Room is next to the Silkin Way and one of the main shared use cycling and walking routes. A lovely airy venue, and friendly service. Currently also a #warmroom. One of the many in Telford. It may well mark 5 stars with an increase in menu and opening hours

Very unhygienic place . It’s smelling of bad odour and even the staff smells. The kitchen is similar to a toilet pot. Don’t know how they operate
