No longer a restaurant permanently closed

Ordered from Uber, delivery was quick but I ordered duck spring rolls and got given vegetable ones instead which I don't like so it was a waste of food and money. chicken balls were also a lot greasier than usual, other than that the rest of the food was okay

I've only had this over food delivery, around a dozen times. Its dim sum is good, but its noodles and fried rice are only decent and not great

On entrance thy said : “No place, very busy”, which was a lie, what he meant to say is “ We serve only Chinese “.

Delicious Chinese food. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Portions are huge!

The tea house is now open and serves excellent Chinese food . Staff are very friendly and polite

We placed an order through Deliveroo at 7pm, which was expected around 7:30-8pm. By 9pm with still no dinner, we tried to contact the restaurant. I tried to call the restaurant 17 times, but no one answered. Sometimes it went directly to voicemail. I contacted Deliveroo and they couldn't get through to the restaurant either. Our food arrived at 9:40pm with multiple items missing. We're lucky that Deliveroo could refund us for them because the Tea House would never answer their phone to know that items were missing. This isn't the first time that the Tea House has delayed our orders and been impossible to contact either. I understand that there can be a busy rush time in a restaurant, but proper management is hiring enough employees to handle those rush periods to where you can at least answer the phone.

Wonderful food! Great service from Sam and his dad the chef! Highly recommend the pan fried dumplings, beef with garlic. All food is freshly made, spring rolls are particularly good. This is the third time I have ordered and the food has been consistent and delicious! 10 out of 10 from me.....

Customer Service and Food was amazing!! definitely one of the best Chinese restaurant/takeaway in Cambridge!! Always feel welcomed so will definitely be going back! Advice everyone to try!

The food was excellent. Really good for a birthday meal. The prawn in dry chilli was wonderful and will mean that we go back.

Food is good, portions are big (even rice bowels are big) my only issue is all those fruit flies flying in my face and going in the food. Couldnt eat in peace

The food was really good!!..... the only thing was there was sooo many flies :( like so many that it was actually difficult to eat my food without one landing in the rice or something :( but the food was really nice 🥴

Speaking from a person who was born and grew up in northern China, I can say this is proper comfort food at home. Very authentic and good pricing!

The chicken was suspiciously soft like it was reconstituted... but..! Nice place, good food and will be coming back for the hot pot!

We ordered the spring rolls and the hot pot. The food was very good. The place is very clean. The spring rolls were perfectly cooked, not oiled at all. The hot pot was an amazing experience. The broth had a unique flavour. The staff was very friendly. We were the only ones ordering the hot pot and the waitress put all together just for us and very gladly. We totally recommend.

Really delicious food— I tried the tree ear mushrooms and the poached pork in chili oil, both were fantastic.

Good solid mainland Chinese food, hotpot available and recently refurbished

I've been there several times with family, marvelous food and attentive service.

Saturday lunch. Not an expert on Chinese but we enjoyed our aubergine potato and peppers with egg fried rice, and stir fried veg and rice.

Fantastic food and service. Very reasonably priced. I especially like the Hot Oil Henan Hand Made Noodles.
