A very different style of Indian restaurant in a positive way. The food was excellent and the service very good. Tucked away in the shopping mall in Farnborough. A friend recommended this place and I’m very glad to have tried it. The manager/owner was very friendly. Would definitely go again and recommend.

We went in for breakfast buffet, and enjoyed all buffet items. Their sambhar is well spiced, seems more Andhra style, and tastes good. Both chutneys were good. Chai was decent but can use more ginger. We got some takeaway too. The podi dosa is good and they parcel it well in a long-ish container, unlike many others who use paper bags. Nice vibe too.

Pleasant ambience, polite and friendly staff/owner. Weekend south Indian buffet is a good value for money for 11 GBP. Not the finest quality I would say, but can't complain at this price, good enough quality, variety, and great value for money.

Thought we’d take a “gamble” and try this different experience after hearing some good reports. I’m no expert on Indian cuisine, but what I can say is that everything is incredibly fresh, tasty and just that little bit different to be interesting. Service was delightful and cocktails great. Yes it’s in a shopping centre but, once you’re through the door ambience and food are enough to forget the view, highly recommended.

Food was really, really good. Drinks were above average. It was a Sunday night, so the atmosphere wasn’t what I imagine it would be on a Friday or Saturday, but there were enough other people eating and arriving that it felt alive. Price was inline with what I’d expect to pay at any Indian restaurant but it punched above its weight. Would 100% come again.

It was my first time as it was my dads birthday and I’d have to say it was really nice and the food was really nice just right ans I’d come again and I’d definitely recommend it

London prices with the taste of Farnborough !! 3 of us ate, 2 adults and a child, no alcohol and the bill was £90, we had 5 regular glasses of Coke Zero £20, the rice had no seasoning… I had a mixed grill, the chicken and fish was ok, albeit very spicy so hard to eat, the lamb chops should’ve been the best part but sadly they were the worst. The positive was the naan, covered in butter and tasty but would’ve been better if cooked at extra minute as it was a little doughy in parts. The Parata just seemed like a naan no real difference in look or taste so it tasted good just not what was ordered. I’ve recently moved from central London, I went to for an Indian there before moving, it was £84 and every bite was a flavour explosion, the food was exceptional, sadly my experience didn’t come close at Tattva, the staff were very nice and while service was a little slow it was a very busy evening so can be expected. If I had to give advice, I’d say visit some of the most popular Indian restaurants in London and see what they’re serving up. We went to Nepal Authentic dining experience in Shepherd’s Bush it was crazy good !!

Disappointing Experience at Tattva Indian Kitchen I had high expectations when visiting Tattva Indian Kitchen, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. We ordered the Chicken 65 and Kachhi Gosht Biryani, specifically asking for the Chicken 65 to be made in the traditional Hyderabadi style and the biryani to be prepared like a layered hyderabadi style (not the rice pulao that was served). The owner assured us everything would be made correctly. However, both dishes were far from what was promised. The Chicken 65 lacked the authentic flavors, and the Kachhi Gosht Biryani was more of a poorly executed rice dish than anything resembling a proper biryani. When we pointed this out, instead of addressing our concerns, the owner argued and tried to justify the poor quality of the food with lengthy explanations. To make matters worse, the naan we ordered was burnt, the owner once again tried to justify the mistake. The lack of accountability and refusal to correct the errors made for an even more frustrating dining experience. The double ka Meetha was microwaved and was served as a pudding than what is original and tasted worse even the cashews weren’t toasted (as we tried giving the desserts a try) Overall, the food was subpar, and the owner's dismissive attitude made the experience even worse. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my visit.

Personally, I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to experience the authentic Indian taste. This restaurant boasts about providing food dishes from all regions of India, which it does but sadly the taste of all the north indian and south indian dishes was exactly the same. We ordered Laal Maas which is a Rajasthani speciality and it tasted surprisingly almost exactly like other south Indian delicacy that we had ordered, Korri Gassi. And both were equally bad. Point being, there is no variety in taste and even the dishes do not taste like as they should, authentically! Naan given were burnt, biryani tasted like pulao. Hara bhara kebabs were undercooked. So anyone who has an idea about Indian food, don’t go here and if you don’t have an idea then certainly don’t get carried away with what you get in the name of authenticity.

Very nice Indian food. We had lamb chops, dal makhani and lal Maas. All very tasty and the naans were excellent. Just how they are served in delhi. Also service is excellent and always with a smile. Love it and we’ll be back for sure

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious, with large portions, and more authentic than most Indian restaurants. It was good that you can choose how spicy you would like the food, although everyone in our group commented that their food was spicier than they expected. I found the music to be too loud and made conversation difficult at times but otherwise it was lovely place to eat. I also felt that it was excellent value for money and will definitely be returning

Like my mum's food! Consistently delicious. Staff are absolutely lovely and really care about making sure the food is nice. Already had repeat visits. I love that you can choose the spice level as well, as many Indian restaurants tend to cater to the milder palate, whereas I like everything quite spicy, so that was great! Very family friendly too, kids loved it.

I recently visited Tattva Indian Kitchen and had a dining experience that really stood out. From the moment we sat down to the last bite, it was a treat for all the senses. Here is my detailed review: Tattva Indian Kitchen offers an atmosphere that perfectly balances modern style with traditional Indian decor. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with warm, earthy tones, beautiful textiles and subtle Indian touches that create a calm and inviting environment. The lighting is soft and pleasant, which makes the place feel cozy without being dark. It is a perfect place for both a romantic dinner and a nice evening with friends. We started our meal with a Papad Basket which was served with three different dipping sauces. Papad, which is a classic Indian flatbread snack, was crispy and flavorful. The dips – a mint yogurt sauce, a tamarind sauce and a hot chilli sauce – were excellent complements to the papad. Each dip had its own unique flavor profile, from the fresh tartness of the mint sauce to the sweet, spicy flavor of the tamarind. It was a perfect start to the meal and set the tone for what was to come. The main course, Butter Chicken, was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was creamy and rich, with a perfect balance of buttery sweetness and spiciness. The chicken was juicy and well cooked, melting in your mouth and absorbing all the flavors from the sauce. Paired with the fluffy naan bread and a bowl of steaming basmati rice, every bite was pure pleasure. For dessert, we tried Gulab Jamun, a classic Indian dessert consisting of soft, syrup-soaked balls made from powdered milk. To accompany this we had a Long Island Iced Tea, a cocktail that was both refreshing and powerful. The staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. They were quick to recommend dishes and drinks, and it was noticeable that they had a genuine passion for Indian food. The food was served at a reasonable pace, giving us time to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Tattva Indian Kitchen delivers high quality food and service, and the prices reflect this. Excellent breakfast menu. Very tasty, great service, friendly. Just a shame that you couldn't add a bit of onion to the dosa as it was a set menu! U only get 2 choices for the dosa, plain or masala.

Little gem in Farnborough. If you really like authentic food and like Indian cuisine, this is the place for you. We had a wonderful taste explosion and were served excellently. If we are back in Farnborough a visit here is a must.

I have visited Tattva for both their dinner service and the weekend breakfast buffet, and on each occasion I was very impressed with the authenticity of the dishes on offer and the welcoming, friendly staff; Nikita the waitress was very attentive and made sure our dining experience went smoothly! The menu is extensive and the dishes on offer were delicious, the restaurant itself is also well laid out with a calm, inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend a visit to Tattva for customers looking for a nice Indian meal in Farnborough, I am very much looking forward to my next meal there!

Nice and delicious food with the spiciness that youd expect from an Indian. Starters and main came out quite quickly and we were happy with the service. However, the chicken 65 is not the one i was expecting, but still way better amongst all others that I have tried elsewhere. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend and would visit again soon.

I've been to Tattva three times and it has always been fantastic. The food is excellent, with lots of interesting dishes on offer which you struggle to find in other Indian restaurants. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and are clearly passionate about the food they serve. I'm already looking forward to my fourth visit!

The service is mind blowing! I ordered online through their website yesterday, there was complimentary papadam basket missing from our previous order. When I asked them about it yesterday they kindly added it. Usually if the restaurant has good reach the people become careless and care less about customers but here is different. Excellent place to taste Indian food with good ambiance.

I went out with my brothers for an evening meal. The menu comes across as very authentic Indian cuisine with many dishes not typically found at other restaurants, this made it interesting to try something new. The staff were very attentive, often asking how spicy we would like the dishes, also suggesting dishes to try. A very enjoyable evening.

A flavorful and authentic Indian dining experience. We visited Tattva Indian Kitchen for a quiet Sunday birthday dinner. Having seen its positive reviews online, we were hopeful to find a new favorite Indian restaurant close by. The food's flavors were truly outstanding - authentic and bursting with tradition. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a delicious mixed pakora platter featuring perfectly spiced crispy onion bhajis and flavorful mini samosas. The lamb biryani brought back nostalgic memories, replicating the taste my friend used to make. While everything was delicious, it's important to note that the curries were spicier than expected, even the mild ones. This proved a challenge for my family members who aren't accustomed to very spicy food. There were a couple of minor shortcomings with the service. One piece of chicken in the curry seemed undercooked, and the staff's response to this wasn't very reassuring. Additionally, when we requested to takeaway the leftover curries, We were given empty boxes to fill ourselves, which we found unusual. Overall, despite these minor issues, I had a great meal. However, I would recommend Tattva Indian Kitchen for those who enjoy flavorful, traditional Indian cuisine and a good amount of spice.

We don’t live far from Tattva and it has become a regular haunt. We know our Indian food, we are of Indian origin - so we know our spices, we know what to expect and Tattva has never let us down. The service is wonderful as well. Husband and wife team, Srinivas and Surekha are a joy to deal with and are so pleasant, always. We love coming here. For lovers of South Indian breakfasts - think Dosa, Idli; Vada, Upma, Sambar etc please Know that on Saturday and Sunday mornings, Tattva offer an eat all you can South Indian breakfast - Heaven at good value!!!
