The person who greeted us was a very nice young girl. However, the food wasn't very suitable for us, it was too oily. We later asked for a large bowl of boiling water to rinse the food before eating it, but we still found it too greasy.

very well priced chinese food! got the 回锅肉盖饭 (pork belly rice) which was 8.80£ which i believe at a lower price point than other chinese food in bristol! the dish was so flavourful and authentic

The taste of the dishes is not particularly stable, sometimes a bit salty. The freshly made noodles are good, but the braised noodles are mediocre, especially the soup noodles. The fried noodles are not authentic (it should be called scallion noodles more accurately), although they taste good. Recommended braised meat and various snacks, but the lion head is a bit salty. Chicken shredded cold noodles taste good The chili oil is very fragrant and spicy, which is a highlight Hygiene is average, a bit like the hygiene level of domestic restaurants

Proper Chinese food, not the takeaway pap you get elsewhere. The wife is Chinese and she loves this place. Helpful team here, I recommend ordering in store.

A delight to eat here. Really friendly really helpful . You won't find this in most of the country. If you are expecting a UK Chinese keep walking. Fantastic food!

Excellent cooking, and unbelievably quick! I recommend the fish fragrant aubergine, the smashed cucumber salad, the pork intestine with pickled cowpea. The noodle soups were okay but didn't blow my mind. The pickled cabbage and pork belly with rice noodle is good but note it comes in quite a sour soup ! Note the meal set with chilli poured noodles and pork intestine is not too spicy, but not for the faint hearted either - it's not dry fried intestine! Lovely service too! Bit cold inside mind you

Had a bad experience despite being a fan of this place. Ordered the pork cheek (top of the menu, you’d hope for the best), it was around 80% fat, much of which I ate, this is just what was left when I couldn’t stomach anymore. This plate was already small - for £13.50 with barely any meat, I don’t feel that’s good value whatsoever. I asked to change it so they took it to the kitchen, then brought it back and said this is the way it is. Not the kind of customer service you hope for under the circumstances. Left hungry and disappointed after eating what was left of the rice.

a fantastic selection of home style dishes. A stand out dish for me was the potato slithers & Jajangmyeon. The noodles had a great chew to them. The dried chillies were crispy & wonderfully fragrant. The chairs & tables were very cute & I really enjoyed being in the space.

Omg. So now you can sit in. And let me tell you its worth it. You get these buttons on the wall so no waiting in line you can order from the table at from the table even cancel a order from the table . The staff are so friendly and helpful. This is a real Chinese alot of traditional dishes most of which I won't touch but the stewed beef brisket with potatoes is out of this world. I could drink that gravy / sauce. The brisket so tender. I enjoyed so much I got a extra portion to take home.

A hidden gem! Absolutely amazing food, value is also good. Small area with enough for 3 tables, would definitely go if you can!

Grabbed a quick dinner here a couple of weeks ago when we walked past and followed our noses in. Totally delicious, good value and the most authentic Chinese food I've eaten in Bristol. Service was very friendly too

Worst service attitude and poor quality food :D This restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians cause the green ‘v’ on the menu only stands for green pepper added in the food. 欠了钱的服务态度和抢钱的价格:D 我不仅要在小红书说，我还要来这里说。

The food is off not once but twice. Order a beef soup noodle and only got soup and noodle without the beef but can’t be ask to go back because it was late. So told the management next time and only got sorry and that’s it.

很喜欢这家餐厅，服务员人都很好很有礼貌。菜的味道也很好，特别是上海小馄炖，炝拌土豆丝和麻辣黄喉都是我的爱。

包装包的好仔细啊送来的汤一点都没撒掉，盖饭里竟然还有卤蛋！好好吃😋😋

Posting this as someone who lived in Singapore for 12 years eating mostly authentic Chinese food there (not the templated "take away" style) Tasty authentic Chinese food (I think it's Sichuan style but I might be wrong. Should be from northern part of China tho). The noodle soup has a balanced spicy and sourness (not overly spicy. I would say it's like Chili Daddy's level 1 or 2). The oily noodle has a great texture that looks handmade, similar to knife cut noodle. We ended up ordering some more for dinner. The crispy pork and sliced pork with garlic also don't disappoint. Note: There is a cashier/waitress who does not speak English well but the other cashier/waiter speaks English well, very polite and helpful.
