Sparkle boy (jack) was lovely and made all of our drinks pretty - very friendly, will be back asap!!!

Jack made us some sparkly margs and we had a wonderful time- the tacos were just okay but for the price what more can you ask for!

Great service and the food was delicious. Salmon not available but accommodated requests.

One star for the waiter who was polite and trying to serve all the tables. The tapas was slow and very low in quality. It was all processed and deep fried from frozen I suspect. The salad was a few tomatoes and shredded iceberg lettuce with almost no dressing. The guacamole was like the processed Dorito dips from a jar. It was awful and tasted like something from Lidl!

The chicken and waffles here were really good, a go to brunch dish! The sticky toffee pudding was also up there with one of the best I’ve ever had! And the best limoncello spritz!!!

Brought a voucher for bottomless brunch, food was lovely, was told we chose one cocktail and then we stick with that one. The one we wanted wasn’t available but did have a good replacement. The service was lovely until I gave the voucher over at the end, the server was slightly rude and I’m thinking we would have had a different experience if I’d presented this at the beginning. The venue was lovely but very cold. Service was fast and good amount of drinks given but was very quiet time we went. The venue does shut early so couldn’t stay for a drink after and I feel it would be over priced if we were paying full price.

Food was burnt and low in quantity for price paid. £28 for the whole package was a total rip-off

Me and my partener came here yesterday for the bottomless brunch, the food was amazing with several different options to choose from. Service was amazing, food came right on time with enough time between oeach course for you to enjoy your drinks!! The atmosphere was relaxing and overall a lovely vibe. Would highly reccomend!! Thankyou for accomodating us!

We booked a Sunday lunch and had a really disappointing experience. The food took a really long time to come out and then the pork was a square of thick fat with no meat on it. We politely highlighted this and said it was inedible, sending two plates back with two untouched slams of fat on them. The waitress was understanding and reassured us the bill would be adjusted to reflect this. When the bill arrived it included full price pork meals and a service charge, we let the staff know thinking this was a mistake and they very awkwardly told us the chef had passed on that this is how the meat is intended to be served. We raised again that this was ridiculous as the fat was very clearly not meat but the kitchen refused to acknowledge it. This place used to be great and it’s a shame to see the quality of the food go so down hill and for the staff to have so little regard for the satisfaction of their customers. Would not recommend.

Have been a couple of times before a few years ago and was great. It’s not really the same anymore the food was average at best, and widely overpriced for what it was. The main thing I noticed was how filthy it was, paint chipped everywhere, dirty tables, even had a dirty plate and the toilets were disgusting with not even hand towels left. The staff were nice and polite but don’t go back or recommend.

Was looking forward to Sunday lunch here! After waiting an hour with no servers updating us, I asked about our order! Was then told the chef had thrown the order away and I could speak to him if I wanted. So no service, no care and no lunch! People next to me (who were fortunate enough to get a meal) send their food back as it was cold! Terrible! Won’t be returning.

The roast was quite poor - not much/undercooked veg and the squash roast tasted dry/cooked from frozen. Good service though

The food was spectacular. Every dish was better than the other. The place is fantastic as well. What makes me give it two stars is the service. They took 20 minutes to come to the table and ask us if we knew what we wanted to order when no one gave us a menu in the first place. They took a super long time to give us the main course. They came 20-25 minutes after finishing our starters to ask if we were ready for our main course. Then we wanted dessert but couldn’t order it since no one came to our table to check on us. Thankfully, the chef came upstairs and gave us some fantastic tres leches. If they improve the service this will be a 5/5 review

We had dinner here, during their collaboration with Casa Latina. The food was excellent, it was really fresh and vibrant, at the same time as comforting and filling. We really hope to return soon. Jack was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, helping us pick some dishes, and the cocktails were lovely. Thank you.

Sadly my experience was awful, we had booked the bottomless brunch and it felt like the team were not prepared for a group of our size despite the booking being made months in advance. I opted for the salmon on the brunch menu and it was very bland. A friend, Very frustratingly (that wasn’t drinking) asked for a mocktail list she was told that, they take time to put together and for first half hour only soft drinks could be ordered for her. One mocktail wouldn’t have taken a minute to put together or an offering of that menu, sadly the male staff member didn’t meet this request with the right attitude and it became a very uneasy heated exchange and that seemed to set the tone for the duration of our visit. This table had been booked for a number of months as we were a large group so not being prepped or having sufficient staff isn’t really good enough. Toilets are nothing short of grotty and had not been maintained. Nothing more annoying than not having a coat hanger on back of door for a handbag! Bins hadn’t been emptied and we were in early evening when it was quiet so definitely shouldn’t have been full. The staff that took over following the heated disagreements were little troopers they tried the utmost to claw it back and serve with a smile. Sadly one person ruined the whole experience.

Where do I even begin with how good this place is! The food is incredible, so fresh and delicious all round amazing throughout. The service is impeccable, Lydia our server was very attentive, polite and helpful. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more if I tried to. 10/10 all around! Will definitely come back.

Went for Sunday roast today and the food was so fresh so delicious we had all three options - starter main and dessert. Every bite was another bite of something delectable. Would totally recommend the venue, it was pouring with rain but the outside seating was amazing and the team were really friendly

Had an amazing meal yesterday, the staff were brilliant and the manager who served us went above and beyond to cater to us and make sure we were having a great time regardless of the fact the staff & manager were being treated awful by other tables. Will defo be returning

We recently attended the Brace & Browns bottomless brunch and, unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Despite booking several months in advance, we encountered significant communication issues due to apparent staff changes. This left us feeling like our reservation for a group of 27 was not a priority, and we were unsure if our booking was even confirmed or who to contact to resolve our concerns. On the day of the event, while we did have some last-minute guest changes that led to confusion over menu choices, this doesn’t excuse the poor service we received. Drinks were slow to arrive, and the manager’s attitude was unprofessional and confrontational from the start. The way he spoke to our group escalated tensions, leading to an uncomfortable situation where one of our guests ended up in a heated exchange with him. Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this venue for large groups. It was evident that they were not equipped to handle a party of our size, and ironically, the rest of the restaurant wasn’t even busy.

The food was absolutely amazing and the flavours were absolutely incredible. Had a lovely starter of house chicken wings, beef roast dinner and the ice cream sundae for desert. Had 2 non alcoholic mocktails. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definately be returning to this bar..

Great atmosphere and service - an incredibly rude group mistook us for staff and kept asking us for service and then wouldn’t believe that we didn’t work there. ACTUAL service team were lovely and attentive, whatever other reviews might say.

Very poor customer service and the attitude from the manager was unacceptable On a brunch and I’m not drinking alcohol so I asked for the moctails list when I was told to just drink a soft drink and they didn’t have time to make cocktails Toilet not being checked no loo roll and no hand soap Absolutely vile Avoid at all cost

What an absolute joke of an establishment. I can’t even call it a bar or a restaurant. The cocky staff, mouthy and rude the “Assistant Manager” from arrival. Food is nice, tasty. Totally ruined experience due to obnoxious staff trying to argue. Seriously save your money.

Warm atmosphere very friendly staff and great food and coffee

We booked without realising the menu had recently changed but we were not disappointed. Lovely flavourful menu with something for everyone. Lots of gluten free and veggie options. Empanadas were a particular highlight. Really good service and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back soon!

The Latin American food was wonderful and Jack who looked after us was lovely!

It was the first time at this restaurant. We found it on the app First table and we wanted to try. Completely disappointed, it's just such a rip off. Very tiny portions (even my main was a joke). I can't believe after paying £70 for 2people (with discount 😳) we were still so hungry 😕 Don't recommend at all. The only good thing was the waiter, impeccable service 👏

Bottomless brunch. Good food. Staff were excellent, very friendly and the beers kept flowing.

We went for brunch. The food was nice (ordered chicken and waffles) but the serving size was underwhelming. It was half a waffle each and 4 peices of fried chicken for £15.50. Not impressed with that. Coffee was nice.

This place is amazing! We ordered a Sunday roast for 5 people. One chicken, one beef and 2 pork bellies. Everything was so tasty and tender. It was our wedding anniversary/my birthday and we asked permission to serve a cake. They were so kind and offered some plates and knife. We only accepted the knife because it was too much attention. We're so grateful! We'll come back soon! 🤗

Attended a booked event, unfortunately didn't get a chance to see the menu however our 3 course meal was fantastic. The sticky toffee pudding (although obviously very sweet) was amazing. Looks like it would be quite a vibey venue over a weekend with an outside pizza oven, covered patio area and indoor seating. Friendly staff, worth a stop!

This place has gone down so much. It used to be good. Now, drinks quality is bad and misleading. They list a "Prosecco" on the menu but then they serve it to you, it turns out it is a "Spumante", which is way lower quality and not worth £7 a glass. Tables were dirty. Dirty plates We're in the table next to us were not taken away for 20 minutes. When the waitress came to clean our table, she sprayed the cleaning product directly into the table and not into the cloth first so she basically sprayed us... I won't come back. So disappointed l.

We were a group of 11 and so had pre-ordered our dinner choices, but it still took an hour-and-a-half for the starters to be served, and then nearly another hour before the mains were brought out (they'd also forgotten the selection for one of our party and had apparently run out of the ingredients to make him a portion of that dish, which they chose to tell us as the rest of the mains were being served). After the first hour of waiting I asked the waitress where our food was; she explained that the venue was more of a tapas restaurant, so the various dishes were served when they were ready; not sure why she thought this was an explanation as we'd placed a group order of a starter and a main each (so definitely not a tapas meal), neither of which had turned up after an hour of waiting. The food was average and the service was slow. The staff seemed completely uninterested in our table; we had to keep asking for drinks, as well as when our meals were actually coming. The place wasn't even busy, so that can't be an excuse. No apology offered by the staff, who still kept the service charge on the bill.

Sunday roast is not worth it. Roast potatoes were dry, get one choice of meat and the table service is slow even when the place was mostly empty

The pizza here is amazing and the drinks are too, and when you can get both for £10 it's an absolute steal! Highly recommend this place, even when this deal isn't on as the pizza are really great!

We had an amzing staff party there, the place was closed for us, lots of pizzas and food was being served all the time and the staff was fantastic.

Very disappointing. We booked at table for 4pm on Sunday and were told as we sat down that the kitchen was closing and if we wanted food we needed to order now. We opted not to as we felt incredibly rushed. We were then told ten minuets later that it was last orders at the bar. Would not recommend at all.

What a wonderful experience this was. Our host was so friendly and took their time with us. She explained the dishes we were being served and was totally mindful of one guest GF requirements. Fabulous food as well as the flowing prosecco and purees to go with. Awesome afternoon!!

Nice place to catch up with my girl friends, prosecco came regularly which I guess is the point during a bottomless brunch. The tasty treats were a small pasta ball and savoury beetroot ball, breakfast was lovely, I had the smashed avocado and eggs, had to give the table up after a couple of hours and sit outside

Popped by on Monday and made the most of the pizza and a drink for £10 deal. Really great pizza (very doughy) and a good selection of drinks. Amazing value for money! This could be a new favourite.

Only went for a drink, the food going out looked amazing.

Booked a table and arrived with our baby in a pram, there was not enough space in the restaurant for the pram next to our table, they could of tried to move us to a different table but we're unwilling and unhelpful and more or less told us to leave.

Food is ok, but blamed me when they lost my booking, which given I had two confirmations spoiled the lunch.

Had a Sunday roast here today. Absolutely brilliant. We had 3 beef, 1 pork and 1 kids chicken. Big portions of quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Service was excellent and they do a great Bloody Mary. Highly recommended.

Very nice pizza, we were a group of 6, unfortunately 1 pizza had to be remade however this was reflected in the bill. They sell decent lagers and pizzas are made using good ingredients. Would recommend.

Visited for the Euro 2020 final, so can only comment on the service, which was absolutely first class. The staff were friendly, attentative and in fantastic spirits throughout. Thanks B&Bs for a brilliant night.

The Sunday brunch was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside was the lack of vegan dessert options, but the staff endeavoured to find me an alternative and I appreciated that, and I wouldn't consider it worth deducting a star over.

Really delicious food, we loved the pomegranate squash couscous and the artichoke pizza. The service was super fast, especially when the manager, who is Spanish, started attending our table. He brought water and extra plates without us asking for it, changed our plates after appetizers and cleaned the table after each course. You can see he loves his job and really tries to make the customer happy and that's not something you experience often in Bristol. We sat outside but it wasnt cold or windy because the terrace is well covered and they have heaters. The music is not too loud, you can have a conversation. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and we will be back!

Incredibly disappointed. The beef for the roast was only fat. The cauliflower cheese was tasteless, the duck starter was rubbery and also tasteless, such a shame from such a highly rated restaurant.

Went for a 40th birthday party expecting a tapas menu to find only pizzas were available. No biggie, we all ordered pizzas, but every single pizza had an overdone topping and a completely uncooked base. They had some interesting toppings, so would have been great if cooked properly. Guessing the stone in the oven wasn't hot enough, because it was being overused due to no other menu options. Obviously not the first time as the waitress didn't even ask why most of the pizza weren't eaten or only the topping eaten and the wet base left on the plate. Apart from that the drinks were good and the table staff friendly.

The food was really lovely. The wild mushroom, mac and cheese arancini were delicious, as were the pizzas! Undercover seating is perfect!

The dessert was one of the best parties my mouth had renewed been to. It was busy but completely worked. Well concieved, pretty, and incredibly tasty

We had a great evening, for our friends 50th birthday. Food was delicious, service was friendly and efficient. Loved the wine, I had the white Rioja. And a very nice cocktails too.

Not sure what has happened to this place but do not bother with the roast as over priced rubbish. £18 for somewhere who do not know how to make gravy. Also had a very bizarre experience there. Booked a table on a sunny day and on arrival was shown our table but as was directly in the sun, asked if we could move to a table in the shade which was refused as it was booked apparently but no body sat there the whole time we were there which was almost 2 hours. We had to ask for menus and to ordered drinks. Then the manager came over to tell us again we could not move as they are fully booked (even though we didn't ask again). Finally managed to order a roast which was not apparent on the menu as states either 2 or 3 courses, a very good marketing ploy to get you to spend more. Had to wait an age for the roast to come out and pretty much finished our drinks before they did. The pork belly wasn't traditional pork belly, seemed like pull pork stacked into a rectangle, the chicken was basically a pan fried chicken breast with no flavour and don't get me started on the gravy. Was very oily and not the consistency of gravy. The veg roast gravy was even worse and was practically tomato sauce. So of course we mentioned this to the manager who once again didn't apologise and just took it away with no explanation. Another member of staff asked us if wanted any sauce (not gravy) and we declined. So we ate the rest of our roast bone dry with no gravy. We asked at the end end what happened to our gravy and the manager gave us some convoluted explanation and that he was busy (I'm sorry for being a customer) and we had to squeeze a half arsed apology out of him. It is a shame as the roast used to be decent. In a nutshell, over priced and poor customer service so I wouldn't bother going.

Absolute shambles. They're happy to take your money then ask you to leave as they have a large group celebrating birthday. Never again!

Good atmosphere really lovely bartenders Also very nice of the music wasn't so loud that you were actually able to speak to people including the bartenders and ask them very specific questions about your drink and have them answer you and you can hear this or very well and clear. Good selection of very random drinks I've never heard of before which all tasted lovely lots of space inside and out If the weather was warmer I would have recommended that we would have got outside

Really fantastic food and ambience, we had a party of 20 odd getting rowdy on a Saturday night but our hosts were accomodating. Great small plates combo menu, loads of food and expertly presented for a reasonable price.

Poor service, poor cold food, poor me....

Attended with a large group (10+) Service - could not fault the service and we had a very attentive waiter. I really felt for him as it was the hottest day of the year and it must have been awful running around after everyone!! Offering - selection of food was good and adequate vegetarian options. Portions were big and we also had appetisers and dessert. All the food was delicious. Prosecco was placed in bottles on the tables and was topped up as often as we like. We were given peach and raspberry purée to add to our drinks. Atmosphere - very busy and full of groups but lots of different areas so we didn’t feel like there were too many people around us. We were on the lowest floor which doesn’t have any windows but this was still okay. Location - situated in the middle of Bristol on Whiteladies Road. Lots of other bars around and easy to get to. Venue is on several levels with lots of stairs so would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Make great espresso martinis and always greeted by a friendly team
