Tasty T in Aberdeen City

If there was a zero star honestly I’d give it. 1.Food took almost 2 hours and restaurant kept giving excuses 2.Called the restaurant on the second hour for a refund which they agreed to but still sent a driver anyway to deliver cold food 3. The portions are nothing to write home about, there are all kids sized. Spent over £53 for something a toddler can finish 4. Food 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 What a waste of money

So I had the jolof rice with chicken. It’s over priced but the rice was delicious, although it might have been stored and microwaved. The chicken was so bad, it was burnt and didn’t have any meat. Service was not good either the servant was just watching tv so loud. Anyways don’t recommend this place.

Very responsive, forgot half our order but the rest arrived within 45 mins, main issue is the price £14 for jolof rice with 2 pieces of chicken on top is a little steep

Over an hour and I am yet to receive my meal and to make matter worst no form of communication( they don’t pick their calls).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tasty T restaurant and overall, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern decor and cozy lighting. This you won’t find in a typical Nigerian restaurant in Aberdeen. I also met the owner, she was friendly, making sure I felt welcomed throughout my meal. The menu offered a diverse selection of Nigeria dishes catering to a variety of tastes. I started with the peppered goat meat which was beautifully presented and also ordered Heneiken to complement. For the main course, I opted for the Okro soup and assorted goat meat. Overall, it did not disappoint.

By the time I ordered and they called me saying that the item i choose was not available, I honestly expected for the delivery be faster.. if is not available should say on the menu that is not available, then the side dish that I got honestly I did not expect to be a very small portion which was 2 piece of beef and very dry honestly I regret this order, coming out from work to get this very small portion, I really like the food normally but today got me disappointed, Thank you

This is the very worst and drawn out delivery I've ever had. It was more than three hours late! Wouldn't ever order from them again.

The food is good they just delivered my food late

nothing more to tell you. 3 occasions and the same thing,..if you are hungry, do not buy from them. because you won't get that food on time and you will definitely get angry. And when you call them to complain, they will never apologise.

First order took forever to arrive and it was still the wrong food(not the first time by the way). Driver said he was going to return and bring back correct order,but still has not arrived total time wasted waiting for food is more than 2hrs still has not arrived at time of this review. Honestly, if they don't know how to run a business, they should just shut down instead. Total waste of time

Tasty T is really improving,the waiter was extremely helpful and on alert for any questions.food was tasty and fresh. Highly recommend .ps I had jollof rice and fish for £13.80 but was too hungry to snap.my partner got the egusi below and it was so delicious.

I don’t usually leave reviews. But I feel I must for this. I never received my food even after three hours of waiting and repeated calls. Once being told it’s nearly there and then only going to voicemail after every time I call since then. I find this extremely unprofessional and very poor customer service. Completely disappointing experience in the way this has been handled.

One instance involved waiting over an hour for my order, only to find it was cold upon arrival. While the cuisine deserves praise, the unpleasantness of the delivery experience detracts from what could be a fantastic dining option. Overall, it’s a mixed bag that leaves room for improvement in service.

The delivery going to 2 hrs yet to receive

I will just keep it short and simple, the food is painful mid for the price. For an African restaurant there wasn't enough seasoning/salt in their food. Don't even bother buying any meats it's just going to be bone. And my delivery took more than 4 hours.

The food was lovely, had peppersoup and my sister had amala and it had the authentic Nigeria taste,would recommend this to any Nigerian 10/10

Anyone thinking about ordering from this disgusting place, please save your money, taste buds and your mental health, no matter how much you miss home. don't order. i placed the order at 18.30, received it 21:40. 3 hrs only to receive chewy boilt rice with Vegeta, frozen peas and A LOT of oil, COLD! and they call it fried rice. and the okro soup, smaller than a child's portion, 2 small pieces of beef inside. COLD! I couldn't even eat it. it is so bad I wish I had toast for tea and £40 in my bank

Good tastes amazing. Their jollof rice is very good. I also tried their amala with efo riro. Was good too

The food was not so good not what I expected

This place serves authentic nigerian jollof rice. The chicken was nicely cooked and tasty and came off the bone with little effort. I love the texture of the swallow I had with my delicious ogbono soup. My younger son had the meatpie and really enjoyed it. We totally recommend this restaurant.

I am sorry to say that Tasty T is not serious with their business, and do not stick time. It is said that they open by 2pm, but most times I have gone by 3pm and they are not still opened. Customers are kept outside, loitering about and waiting for them to open. I suggest the management should either stick to the time or adjust the timing so that people don't come and be stranded all the time.

The ogbono soup was so watery and thin. The peppered chicken was full of tomato-like sauce dripping oil, while the bitter leaf soup is manageable. The only thing I enjoyed is the jolly rice and fried yam.

Always a favorite when I start thinking of home. This may be a little bit biased but I always enjoy the food here and hope to keep coming back with family and friends.

Restaurant submitted delivered on the app but food took over 1hr 15mins past delivery time to arrive. This is not the first time, collection would’ve been better. Food is good, and eating in the restaurant is definitely a much better experience.

Just order Chinese. Seriously, do yourself a favour and order Chinese instead.

I had to be at work for 7pm and called at about 6pm. I got into tasty T at 6:15 . My food was served in 5 minutes . It was delicious . Just what I needed at that time . I was out in time for work 😁thank you Tasty T

Hello I haven’t gotten my food

I am still expecting my order and about to head out to work.

Food is expensive.especially their meat.they give you bones.and fish size is too small. Come on you can do better.

Everytime I order, it’s always diff complaints I have.. today I ordered ayamase and the stew is not even enough to serve one person. It’s so small in the plate. I had to place another order of the same stew.. pls to delete the app and not order from Them again..

They are unreliable! After delaying for over an hour I reached out to them and they intentionally put all their phone lines on busy. They refused to refund despite taking so long to deliver my meal and It took four hours before they delivered my food they gave no explanations or even apologised. Their food tasted okay but their service was awful and somewhat fraudulent and deceitful. Cheers!

Really tasty authentic Nigerian food and they have Star beer 🍺. The waiter was attentive and we didn't have long to wait for our meals. Definitely worth a visit

Food was 2 hours 45 minutes late, store gave a heads up but I was already charged so had no choice but to wait. on top of that, the food was cold.

The food was really exceptional, and palatable.

I ordered my food around 3pm and was told by the app the food will be delivered latest 4:40pm. I called the restaurant at 4:40 only to realize they don’t deliver until 5pm. It’s 6pm while i’m typing this review and still don’t have my food though the restaurant said the driver left at 5pm. This is unacceptable!

This was a terrible experience. Ordered online via JustEat and the food was extremely late. The restaurant handled the delivery and used one driver to deliver so many orders. This meant that if you were further down the line of deliveries, your food could take as much as 3hrs from when you place the order.

Arrived and was met by a lovely front of house man. The music was good and the atmosphere was social and vibrant. Was not familiar with menu but the man was happy to walk me through it. Came out ok time he said it would and it was quite delicious to be frank. My friends and i thoroughly enjoyed the evening there ..

I had an amazing dining experience at Tasty T in Aberdeen! The Jollof and Chicken were incredibly flavorful, and the Pounded Yam and Egusi Soup were a delicious combination. The service was top-notch, and I can't wait to return for another delightful meal. Highly recommended!

Got a free dining experience at Tasty T, courtesy of Rave Nation. I food was delicious, service was great. Owner is very personable and was happy to receive honest feedback. All in all, it was a lovely experience.

Food arrived over an hour later than the promised delivery and even showed delivered on the app when food didn’t arrive over an hour later

I really don’t have any issues with the food quality but delivery time could be better. Imagine waiting for food for 3hrs. That’s abysmal!

The delivery driver came an hour later after lying on the app that the food has been delivered. He didn't come out of the car, I had to look for him myself to get the food.

Getting to order wasn’t a hassle and my delivery came on time. Not to forget that the food was really sumptuous.

I recently placed an order at Tasty T Restaurant in Aberdeen for their Poundo Yam and Egusi Soup with turkey, priced at £17. Unfortunately, I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with my meal. The egusi soup turned out to be extremely bitter and had a gritty texture, making it quite unpleasant to consume. Moreover, the turkey was burnt and inedible. As a loyal customer, I felt compelled to voice my concerns by calling the restaurant to make a complaint. However, I was met with a disheartening level of rudeness from the lady who answered the call. She rudely interrupted me and abruptly ended the conversation before I could express my dissatisfaction. This entire experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed. Regrettably, Tasty T Restaurant has let me down, and I now regret spending £17 on a meal that I couldn't even consume.

We ordered 4 different menu and all came out well. I was impressed with the taste if their afang soup, edikaikan soup, egusi soup and ofada rice with ayamase stew. The taste remind me of home. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend this restaurant. The location is central and the price is reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful.
