Hotel has obviously been recently refurbished which showed, all areas looking smart and attractive, excellent location in city centre and excellent value for money, would stay here again

Ideally located for access to Aberdeen city centre, food in restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Not the best experience I’ve had

Dont accept room 234 as you will not get any sleep if party in below function room.....very loud not a small amout of music described after payment at check in.

A decent stay in this hotel and I would consider again, as convenient for Union Street and other bars/restaurants, as well as a relatively short walk to/from the main rail station. Friendly staff and all very helpful. Slightly archaic systems - check in was very paper driven and took a while - should modernise and have electronic pre-check-in and option to complete check in electronically. Breakfast voucher system also a little "cheap" and surely unnecessary to have to present a physical paper voucher - why can't this just be done electronically? A few minor breakfast issues such as wrongly set coffee machine leading to overspilling coffee and a lot of what seemed to be left over food waste when I came down for a late breakfast.

Well presented hotel, friendly staff and Large spacious room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service, Fantastic sleep, fantastic breakfast

Stayed here for my birthday weekend. Room upgraded to a club room. Room was huge, bed was huge & super comfy. Breakfast was a bit disappointing compaired to the last time we stayed. But it won't stop us from coming back. 9/10.

Can’t speak highly about the food at the copthorne. Abby was a delight and very funny. The food that came out the kitchen was superb. Rooms are lovely and the overall feel of the hotel is brilliant Came for a birthday meal and it didn’t disappoint

The armosphere in and around the hotel is very serene and welcoming. Rooms are also very tidy with comfy bed. I will definitely visit again.

Great location, walking distance to many coffee places and restaurants. Big rooms, with an old-style, but clean and comfortable. Efficient service to temporarily store luggage. Helpful staff.

Great stay, would highly recommend. We are a family of four, two kids (2 and 4 years old) and the room was great, very spacious and the breakfast succeeded our expectations!

Twenty minute walk from the bus station.

Went in for dinner. Was served by Abby who was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Food by chef Lawrence was excellent. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely meal with the family at the Copthorne Hotel (my family were visiting me from Glasgow). The food was delectable and our waitress was simply delightful and made our dining experience that much better that I honestly can't say anything negative about my experience here. Bravo!

Had a lovely afternoon tea which was made even more special by the service from Ladda. A constant smile on this ladies face. Clearly an asset to the Copthorne Hotel. Thank you Ladda.

Andres greeted us warmly and offered food suggestions. We decided to stay in and order food from the in-house restaurant The Grain. Our hostess, Mahi, was well versed in the drinks and food. Her preparation of the drinks was outstanding and to quote my wife the best gin based drink she’s had to date. My drink, The Godfather, was also amazing. The starters and mains filled our bellies.

The hotel is very well located in Aberdeen, close to all amenities. However, they don't have parking so you have to manage to find a closer parking lot (we were lucky to have the one opposite but apparently this is not always the case). The room is OK but needs to be refreshed. We don't understand why there isn't a socket on either side of the bed... We enjoyed the evening meal but the breakfast was not very good, especially the scrambled eggs which had a funny taste. The various speakers (host, waiter, etc.) were all very friendly to us and we felt well welcomed.

We stayed at the Copthorne Hotel for 5 nights as we were visiting Aberdeen for a friend’s wedding. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Andreas on the reception, who booked a taxi for us. The room was large, comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast and had a meal in the restaurant. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to others.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. The room was very spatious, bathroom was clean and had loads of counter space for the toiletries which I like. The only negative for me was that we opted to add breakfast (£11 per person) but we were a bit disappointed. Selection was decent, nothing special, but there was a never-ending queue at the only coffee machine. We ended up having to look for coffee somewhere else. But all in all we had a good night's sleep and the hotel is modern and clean.

Only here 2 nights. Wish it was more. The staff are amazingly friendly. From Rachel at reception to the girls in the bar/ restaurant. Especially Mahi. Looked after my every need/ request. Well done to them all, and such a lovely place to eat drink. The rooms are so spacious too and immaculate. Well done the copthorne. Highly recommended 👍

Mixed, was chilly but eco, great staff very helpful and professional, apart from not telling me the fire alarm was a test. Comfortable chairs, spacious interior. Suited to coaches, and business meetings.

We stayed here for 3 days with a group tour. The food, which we booked as half board, was also tasty.

Nice room, bathroom okay, food okay, but no choice

Not quite centrally located hotel, nice spacious rooms. There is a bar with some seating and a restaurant. There are also restaurants around the hotel. It's about a 30-minute walk to the city and the harbor.

We ate at The Grain Store restaurant in the hotel. What a great experience! Excellent fresh food from local sources and wonderful service from our fun and capable server, Tarryn.

All around wonderful experience here. Great location, very close to the city centre. Amazing staff, extremely friendly, attentive, and with a lovely sense humour. Special shout out to Andres, Mahi, and Caitlin for all that they have done making us feel welcome. Thank you and looking forward to my next return.

This hotel is well positioned about a 10 minute walk from the train station. There were boiler issues when we stayed, breakfast was OK but nothing special and not comparative to say Premier Inn. Rooms are spacious, warm and facilties within them are good including modern smart TVs which you can stream from your personal devices to. Rooms on the front of the hotel aren't sound limited and you hear all the traffic noise throughout the night, this is why I've marked the experience lower than normal.

I’ve been staying at the Copthorne for a couple of nights each week for nearly 2 months. I’ve been really enjoying staying there, the staff are super friendly and welcoming (especially Ladda and Sveta) which makes such a difference when you’re a regular guest. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The bar food is also good.

Great service in the restaurant from Caitlin and Dakoru. The fish and chips was delicious! Big shout out to Hyleni in the kitchen. The rooms are also lovely - unsure if it has had a recent refurb? Will definitely be back when I return to Aberdeen.

Brilliant hotel. Staff so friendly and the rooms are lovely and spacious. The bar is lovely to sit in and relax in the evening with a drink. The hotel is spotless. Location great, very near Union Street. Car park across the road. If I could give it more than 5* then I would, the best hotel in Aberdeen

The Hotel was in an ideal location never far from any amenities the city had to offer. All the staff were friendly and helpful with any needs we had. We were a group of 7 ranging from 82 to 40 and all of us would recommend the hotel to our friends. Excellent venue.

I stayed in the hotel for a work trip and the staff were absolutely brilliant, they really went above and beyond what one would expect and really made us feel welcome and looked after. The room was warm, comfortable, spotless and I really enjoyed my stay. I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with nice rooms and food, but what makes the really big difference is the outstanding staff! The friendliness and helpfulness of Rachel at reception and Mahi & Paul in the bar & restaurant has made such a huge difference to the stay, and myself and my colleague have both really appreciated their good humour and kind assistance after a long drive up to Aberdeen. If staff bonuses exist here, they should get them! :-)
