A really cheerful time and tasty lunch here today; I've been a couple of times before so I knew it would be good. Took a young adventurous eater with me (11yr old) and we had the Rad na with prawns. Delicious.

I would give this place a MICHELIN STAR! The food and service are EXCELLENT (for a market stall) We eat here alot, never have we had a disappointing mouthful, it craves you wanting more. The best place I've eaten in Devon. Pick any dish its delicious and great value for money.

The pad Thai is absolutely delicious! I eat there at least once at month.

I think this is one of the best pad thai I ever tasted. The portion per serving is very generous. We’ll definitely come again to try other dish on their menu.

I've been visiting here since they opened several years ago and the quality of food has remained constantly fantastic. Staff are all very happy and friendly and May the owner is lovely. All food cooked fresh to order and to your preference of spice mild/medium/spicy. If you haven't tried it then I highly recommend you give it a go!

Best Thai food we have had in Plymouth.

Absolutely incredible food. I have been coming here for years. Best Thai food I have ever eaten EVER. Although I have never been to Thailand, I can't imagine it's much different from this restaurant. Give this place a go, you will not be disappointed.

Tasty food great service and friendly staff.

There isn't much to say about a Taste of Thailand apart from, get down there and give it a good. Great value for money, portion size great and flavours are great. Don't just trust me, go a taste it.

1. Dishes served too slow when the stand is not running at full capacity. Almost 30 mins wait for only two Pad Thai. 2. Thai Tea too sweet, so much so that I can feel my teeth decaying at the first small sip. Nothing to criticise about the food really, average Thai food you can get anywhere.

Red curry is fabulous but waited 30 min on weekdays😢 My stomach growled so loud that the person sat next next to me said “maybe ask for a refund?” His wait time was as dreadful as mine🙂

I went to A taste of Thailand with my parents yesterday for my mums birthday. The ladies that work there are super friendly and accommodating throughout your duration there. I had a penang medium with chicken and a side of Thai crackers - the portion was MASSIVE - definitely enough for two people there, really tasty and flavoursome. Will definitely visit again

Incredible food! We took ours home and it was piping hot when we ate it half hour later! We enjoyed every mouthful and will definitely be returning for more. Lovely staff, highly recommended x

I waited nearly an hour for what turned out to be glutinous rad na (thai soup) and bland pad thai. Too late to eat in so took it home. Inedible. So disappointed.

Lovely food, good value, friendly quick service

I came to the market takeaway the larb moo (mince pork toasted rice salad) to have it on the train to London. Beside is it a bit wet salad than what we get in Thailand, flavour is as good as in Thailand. Medium spicy is just fine for my liking. Took a bit long time to prepare. Saw the lady double dipping when tasting from the mixing bowl. Personally that’s what they do in Thailand anyway. Not sure about should do it in England.

Food great as always except for the fishcakes which tasted bland and the texture was like rubber. When brought to the attention of the staff, we were met with derision initially, then completely ignored and finally told "don't care, don't care" and told to go away repeatedly when we protested, complete with hand gestures and flick of the wrist. Absolutely shocking behaviour from the main chef. Will not be returning.

Visited today had the penang curry chicken medium was delicious have to say.Friendly staff, the meal was served quickly and piping hot which is what you want on a cold day ..will definitely return to try some of the other thai dishes on offer presuming I can get a seat .

Honestly, this place is my favourite restaurant in the entirety of Plymouth. I have frequented it more than 20 times, and I have not had a single bad experience. Each time, the food has been awesome, the staff have been friendly and the waiting time has been low. Very highly recommended.

My first visit to this noodle bar, the smell from A Taste of Thailand is amazing as you enter the market hall, and the food doesn't disappoint! Generous portions and reasonably priced too, I will definitely be back, just wish I lived closer!

Comida deliciosa siempre muy bien cocinada, ¡pero no se observó distanciamiento social! Los taburetes se colocan a pocos centímetros de distancia para que tenga que codearse con completos extraños, a menos que el restaurante esté tranquilo. Seguimiento y rastreo realizado a otros comensales, pero no a mí. Los mostradores no se limpiaron entre comensales mientras estuve allí. Entonces, con respecto a las regulaciones de Covid 19, se ignoran por completo, pero la comida es deliciosa.

Seriously some of the best food in the city, perfectly cooked and very cheap, always busy at lunchtime and often hard to find a seat so I recommend trying them between 2-3PM as it's a bit quieter and worth the wait. One of the highlights of city shopping in Plymouth.

Beautiful curry, £7 a dish that included perfectly cooked rice. Superb service, food arrived quickly, loved the choice of spice. Couldn't recommend enough, excellent value!

I've eaten here many times and the food has always been to a very high standard. Beef Khao Soi or King Prawn Tom Yum are both delicious.

(Refresco, galletas saladas y comida principal) Este comentario no es negativo. Es un puesto de mercado, por lo que solo abre en horario de mercado. Con todo, la comida habla por sí sola. Volveré.

This was very popular, lots of diners there which is always a good sign! On the back of the menu it states ask about allergies, so I told them I have a wheat allergy and asked if the chosen stir fry was suitable. They speak very little English but nodded. When the food arrived (which looked amazing, large portions) it was swimming in soy sauce. I asked whether their soy sauce was gluten free, they brought the bottle over and it had wheat in it. I decided I couldn't risk eating there or ordering anything else and they kindly gave me a refund.If you have any allergy I would avoid here to be safe! Its a shame because my friends dishes looked and smelled amazing and they were really happy with their food.

I know they serves good food. Came to order takeaway at 2pm and to collect around 4 to 4:30pm for family dinner - and I've paid. By 4pm cameback, I was told I've asked for 4:30 and she's going to cook now. After 30 minutes waited, before shop closed, she told me they finished rice and if I want to order something else or take my money back. What an "amazing" service and insulting! Cannot believed this how easy you got kicked out without food after ordered and waited. Taste supposed to be heaven but service is hell.

A taste sensation at a very reasonable price. Be aware that the portions are pretty big so don't over order. If you do the friendly staff are more than happy to provide takeaway containers. I will definitely be going back.

I have walked passed this place several times,yesterday we stopped. Not to everyone's taste but I would certainly stop there again.I thought the food was tasty and cooked freshly in sight. Prompt service,I would say give it a go.

Love this place I go round 2 times a week, I must of tried everything on the menu by now, the staff are so friendly.

He estado aquí un par de veces y cada vez que el lugar realmente ha hecho una gran experiencia. El personal es amable y la selección de platos es excelente. Cada comida que he tenido ha sido sabrosa y diferente a la anterior. Tiene un gran valor y las comidas son rápidas, lo que lo convierte en un gran lugar para cenar durante el día. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera! Mi único inconveniente real para este lugar sería la falta de asientos cómodos. El espacio para las piernas alrededor del bar no es el más acogedor para cualquier persona mayor de 5 '11.

This was so good it's hard to believe it only cost £6.50! The chicken melted in the mouth & the vegetables were both crunchy & tasty. The last time we were in Plymouth on holiday we found this place by accident, but this time we came down & we made a bee line for A Taste Of Thailand & the food & service were just as good as the 1st time!! Would strongly recommend trying this place out!!
